@@TechINtn I followed your tutorial, and "cloned" a CentOS operating system from a Dell R720 server, to another Dell R720 server with a different CentOS operating system. Improperly called cloned, because it effectively reversed my operating systems between them! 😱 Source with Destination after cloning was finished! 🫣 How was this possible without me being warned😞? The tutorial doesn't say anything about this exchange. How can I avoid this in the future? I want to keep the source identical to the destination after cloning.
1. Is it the same procedure if I have multiple destination computers? 2. Does that mean I need to have a Clonezilla bootable USB plugged in to each destination computer?
hello thanks for you guidance and video on this topic just need to ask if I want to save source laptop image some where on the network like shared folder of server / nas then deploy the image to multiple destination laptop then what to do?? how to do
You're welcome :) Yep, you can do that, you can make an image of disk or partition on shared folder, then you can deploy it. I will check the details of how to do that.
You need the Samba mode of it. You need to enable special sharing for a folder where you want it. Note: you need to use the expert mode to set a custom size for each file that will be transferred else you might end up the same way as me. Stuck at a percentage due to it trying to use an 8 GB flash drive for an over 100 GB hard drive image.
Hey man great video but when i was trying to do an error ocurred to me: "No network card found", so, what should i do? There is any solution to this? Ty
great video thanks for uploading. do you know if the source and second computers have to have the same hardware makeup? or can i clone from say a laptop to a pc and still have it work mostly enough (maybe with some driver issues)?
I am wondering the same thing. Currently trying to clone and its not working. I am following the video step by step but it still doesn't seem to be working. :(
Hi, so I am trying to do these steps on a Lenovo tower and when the tower is the source computer I am getting an error message saying that no existing disk(s) or no unmounted disk(s) are found. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Very useful video, I would like to ask you if with Clonezilla it is possible to clone from an HD/SSD to multiple PCs simultaneously via network/LAN?
Hi,
Thanks for the video. Is it possible to clone multiple devices at once using this method ?
I have a question: Do this procedure make a "mirror" copy of the source? I mean: applications, configuration, stored passwords, etc. Thanks in advance
yes
should the dest pc be formatted ?
it will do that automatically when it deploys the image, no need to do it before hand

There must be some smilarities between both computers specs. Because you are migrating drivers for Chipset and CPU

can you use 2 PCs conected to each other with both a static IP?
Yes, but in the mode to setup the network, you will choose static mode to configure the static ip
very useful video. Thanks
Great !!! Thank you !
Thanks a lot!
Big thanks, pretty straight forward but still
