Currently there's hundreds if not thousands of families out of homes due to recent earthquakes in Croatia. This stove vould be a life saviour for many of them.
It's great to me seeing someone use a deburring tool, so rare in a video presentation. Wonderful tool and good video production. Thanks for making me smile.
Very good presentation and minimal welding to try and do without welding! No silly window to complicate things and it works . So now I have a better idea of how to make one for myself to heat the Van . 🤓
Very nice. One can if you dont have copper pins, even use steel pins from offcuts of bolts or so or even broken drill bits and also give them some hammer treatment. I had old broken drill bit layimg in toolbox. And then created a pin from that which holds my one knifes blade in place. Works like a bomb!
Habu. This what’s right up there with the carpenter’s toolbox in terms of intent, brilliant design and excellent execution of your idea. Very well done! Good on ya, and keep it up!
Holy crap Habu! This is amazing! You gave me some fantastic ideas. Luck me I got around 40 of those laying around. 😁 They are also great for toolboxes.
Habu friend, happy new year, excellent result obtained in the manufacture of this carp stove made with a box of ammunition, to wait for the construction of the carp, my respects and greetings from Venezuela.
Great build. You would need a baffle in the top to hold more heat and your pipes should fit into each other from the bottom up to prevent cresote from running down the pipe onto the stove top. Awesome build.
I suggest you put a baffle that partially covers the Smoke Pipe as to prevent the flames from travelling up the pipe and greatly lowering the efficiency of your stove it will increase the heat that stay in the firebox and will cause many of the gasses from the wood to burn more completely, This will make your stove much hotter for heating a tent and make cooking on it easier. I would also suggest welding a heavy gauge sheet of metal on top of the stove that could be used as a griddle because the heavier gauge steel will retain heat longer and you can even sculpt it a little by putting a Grease trough all the way around it like a real griddle, and it can be seasoned just like a cast Iron frying pan by putting oil on it and heating it up. Or you can make it removable and just weld tabs on the stove top as locators for the griddle. either way os good, but you most certainly should weld in a baffle on the inside so the flames do not have direct access to the chimney.
Niceone, love it. I built kne earlier this year and put a baffle near the top to keep more heat in to use in a tent for example. I think your chimney stack should be the other way though mate, as the wood burns it creates tar which runs down the chimney.. If the flange is the other way to yours, it doesn't come to the outer side of the pipe and run down, rather it runs down the middle to eventually burn off again in the fire. Nice welding lad 🔥👌
HABU is, in my humble opinion, one the best craftsman alive.
I've watched many of these videos on ammo cans stoves I like this one a lot
Any others you'd recommend?

Best build I have seen.
Thanks man!
This is great, now that ammunition no longer exists I should be able to make a few of these.
Those ammo boxes are helpful, but this takes the cake as the best use!! Can't wait for the forged tent! Happy new year!

Perfect craftsmanship
Nice welds, no glob welds here, minimal cleanup. Nice.
One of the coolest thing you have made... but I'm an out doors kinda guy very cool.
Sweet build.
I want one.
That is a great idea!
Great build habu. You might want to put a baffle underneath chimney exit to keep heat in stove longer. Hotter = faster cooking.
I love your design style and how you always put a unique spin the project.
As usual this is one heck of a smart fella , not only great idea's but also they work !!! 💯% 👍🇬🇧

Im gona remeber the tip about baffle
I’ve seen people use the underside of the lid as a baffle. It can be separated into its own useable sheet.
Для зимней рыбалки👍
