@raziel9856 oh, I've only known confidante short guys before so, this was not a normal experience for me. Actually, as a kid I was a gymnast so, 'short' can be an advantage. Anyway, I wouldn't judge someone one their height but, 'content of character'

There is 1 perk to being short in the military. When they do ceremonies of any kind its from tallest to shortest. So all the tall people have to be in the front of the formation havint to stand still for a long time where as the short people get to relax a bit out of sight from everyone looking at the front of the formation...ifykyk
I'm civilian but from what I've seen and talked to the military is all around a great place to be a short man! There are very cool jobs that are disqualified for too-tall guys but apart from ceremonial guards none for too-short guys. Also, while I (5'3") strongly feel the disrespect-from-other-men thing is grossly exaggerated in any context and is basically a cope for people to avoid thinking about what else about them might cause other men to have no respect for them, the military seems to be an exceptionally good setting for respect for short guys. For the simple reason that the setting provides such obvious and manifest means for a man to earn respect in the eyes of his comrades, there's really not much room left for silly stereotypes and assumptions like a short guy is less worthy of respect or capable or less of a man. I think it's not hard for a short guy to earn respect in the military, it's done all the time afaik and people barely think about it. Only to people who have led a life of frivolity does it seem odd or weird for a 6'3" guy to show respect to a 5'3" guy. Surely he thinks of himself as superior or more masculine, or the other guy as a little kid or whatever, deep down. Well, no. (And again, I think it's mostly serious insecurity that makes anyone, tall or short, think otherwise.)
This man is brilliant. I saw some other videos by him but he was stuttering and he had me believing he really did stutter. Now I see this. (P.S. I am a short person and searched for “short people” here.) And now I have found out that he really DID have a stutter and he has improved so much that I thought the stuttering was an act. He is still brilliant and amazing.
Some disadvantages of being tall to help the short guys feel better; airplanes are very uncomfortable. It's harder to pick stuff up off the ground. We hit our heads on things. People make us reach for things.
I’m 4’ 11” and I RARELY ask anyone besides store personnel and my own family members to reach anything for me, and when it comes to my own family I only ask when they happen to be right where I want to reach - otherwise I’ll climb on stepstools, chairs, counters, tables and ladders just so I can reach stuff w/o bothering anyone 😅 I carry an umbrella/parasol with me every time I go out and have basically perfected the art of using the end of it to knock products off the top shelves in supermarkets and catch them as they fall, but I’m always grateful whenever a taller stranger notices what I’m trying to do and takes the thing off the shelf for me out of the kindness of his/her heart, because depending on how heavy or breakable the product packaging is, it can be a dangerous business 😅
I'm 4'11" and my fiance' is 5'6"- we lucked out, it's kind of perfect haha. We've had issues with the height thing when it has come to exes (and people) for both of us. This skit was hilariously accurate
It's really amazing how far he has come. What a sweet story. I like to find his old stuff and listen just to see how much his speaking has improved since he hit the stage. Everything about him is glowing up and up. Love it. My favorite comedian of today.
As a Fellow Short King, I felt this on so many levels... Dumb question, how tall is your wife's dad? When I met my girl's dad, it was like meeting a Tower, Slenderman, Groot, Tall Things Etc. Honestly scared the crap out me...
My dad was 5' 4" but he's already shrunk and now he's 5' 2". We had a good laugh about how I'll be the tallest in my family soon (I'm 5' 1"). Aging is not nice to short people. 😂

I got a friend that’s always saying old people jokes to me because I’m 67 and he’s in his 40s but he’s short so I got some comebacks for him, thanks for this video
My husband's work friend and his wife invited us out to an event. The wife is around 6'. The husband is 6'5". I'M 5'2"! I was literally RUNNING to keep up with them. It. Was. HORRIBLE. They're lovely people, we had a great time once I was able to sit down.
I once did an experiment where I wore undetectable lifts (approx. +4 inches) to events. At first, I figured there would be no difference. But, nope! People approached me, took interest in me, chatted with more engagement. It was actually surreal. Again, I thought I was imagining things, but every instance where I tried the experiment, the results were always similar. When I didn't wear them, almost no one took notice of me. 💪😎✌️ It's a great feeling. Lived with it all my existence, too! Good stuff.
I'm a 5'10" woman, and I frequently refer to myself as an Amazon. 😂 This is hilarious. 😂 Please come to FL. I know it sucks here but that's why we need comedy ♥️
I'm only 5'8", but I was the tallest girl in school all 12 years. My daughters are 6'1" and 6'2"; they were constantly mistaken for teachers in junior high. Their pet peeve was the local coaches whispering "basketball!" whenever they walked by. 😂 Drew left out the biggest complaint my short friends have, but maybe it's only a female thing: taller people patting the tops of their heads, calling them 'cute,' and assuming they have the right to bodily pick them up.
@@SouthCountyGal I would say that every thing in the second part is acceptable from friends and family - but only with concent. I put my chin on my sisters head and introduce her as my big sister. Then she elbows me in the ribs. We laugh. But, I agree that if you don't give concent, broken fingers should be used as a learning tool to not give head pats. Reverse headbutts for those that pick you from behind. Also, when I call a short person cute, its not because of your size. Its because you are cute.
I’m not that short at 5 foot eight… But I was a late bloomer and I always got picked up for being short and I didn’t get picture stuff even though it was better. Smarter. Just wasn’t bigger. Thank you so much this comedy is hilarious gold and it’s the funniest short person jokes I’ve ever heard.
Favorite short person quip: in _GOT_ when Gendry tells Arya, “You shouldn’t insult people who are bigger than you,” and she retorts, “But then I’ll never get to insult ANYBODY.”😂
Andrew.. as you stated. Tree here. I Didn't know your honesty and funniness would make me laugh. I'm a stutterer. Took long time for me to get in-tune with my intelligence . You make me a brave 5'8" person. ....thankyou so very much! You are NOT SHORT, at all😂 much Love from those who Embrace themselves , for Who they ARE, and Not what others expect. Gratzi, dude.😊
The pain of being short. I get hell every time someone walks in my house and catches me standing on a chair looking for something in my cabinets. I look like a toddler looking for cookies. Or when someone deliberately places things out of my reach just to watch me try and get it. Grrrrrr
As a fellow short person, I understand these things too well. Although I was used as an armrest at times and would warn my tall friends that I could cut them at the knees when they called me cute. ^.^ Though will say, I can move through crowded places a lot easier.

Had so much fun at your show!! & Sorry I asked for a picture before hand, I didn't know we got to meet you at the end. I know you probably don't care lol but I figured I'd say it🙃
you're so funny. as a short person I have to set up things. no dishes above the second shelf, clocks have all been moved into a position where I can change the time without getting a step stool - except the chime clock on the wall ( my non short son changes that ).
I'm 160cm/5'3; the photo thing is so true. Family pictures, it's always "short people in front!" The issue is everyone in my family, on both sides (so there was no way i'd be tall), is short. So 90% of people in front, and 3 guys, in-laws so not related by blood with the rest of us, behind 🤣 The worst i've had is a 70+yo dude patting me on the head at the end of our convo at a dinner party. I wasn't 10; I was 42... there's no way he would have done the same to another guy there about my age, but over 180cm/6 foot... I guess for him i wasn't a short man but a tall boy... Anyway, i agree with another comment, come over to Australia!
7:06 the joke about how short people hate when tall people touch the top of the door frame lol, my son turned 14 last week and he’s 5’6/7 and I’m his mother, 5’1 and I got mad over the weekend when he did that 😂

If you can't handle me in heels you don't deserve me in flats or, whatever Marilyn Monroe said
*the guy was like 4'9 max and really, the biggest 'lady boner killer' was, he was into 'industrial 90's music' and Tool was his favorite band
Its the insecurity that women like or prefer taller men so he probably put it out as he didnt like it before you could say anything idk. but thats red flag type insecure
@raziel9856 oh, I've only known confidante short guys before so, this was not a normal experience for me. Actually, as a kid I was a gymnast so, 'short' can be an advantage. Anyway, I wouldn't judge someone one their height but, 'content of character'
What's wrong with liking a particular kind of music?
If it is the only kind of music that someone likes is one kind to the exclusion of all others, I could see it. If you like the person, you could introduce them to other things.
@@McKavian it's a preference and, I've found certain types of 'favorite music' can also be a 'red flag'. Sting, Phil Collins, New Country (I could go on) are just not things I can not tolerate in a potential romantic partner. Leaves the toilet seat up? Short? Kinda dumb? Not a deal breaker. But if he listens to Offspring or Nickleback? GTFO
As a tall, still growing teenager, I was 5'3" in the sixth grade. Killing it dude
I was 6' in 6th grade.
@@bigguy7353 I was 5'3 in 9th grade.
I hit 6 ft when I was 15 and never grew after that 😂 I’m 30 now.
Good luck. I am in my 70’s and still your height. I haven’t started getting shorter yet.
Okay man, no need to brag lmao
“Critter pace” has me DYING
Im NOT short.....im vertically challenged...😂😂😂😂
Mr. Lynch, you’re a great comedian. Thank you!
As an official Mexican. Sir, you are OFFICIALLY one of us.
Me being 5'0" I totally understand the critter pace lmao. We've got little legs
That first line had me laughing like a fool in my break room 😂
Drew is absolutely hilarious. Absolutely love his comedy
Some disadvantages of being tall to help the short guys feel better; airplanes are very uncomfortable.
It's harder to pick stuff up off the ground.
We hit our heads on things.
People make us reach for things.
I’m 4’ 11” and I RARELY ask anyone besides store personnel and my own family members to reach anything for me, and when it comes to my own family I only ask when they happen to be right where I want to reach - otherwise I’ll climb on stepstools, chairs, counters, tables and ladders just so I can reach stuff w/o bothering anyone 😅
I carry an umbrella/parasol with me every time I go out and have basically perfected the art of using the end of it to knock products off the top shelves in supermarkets and catch them as they fall, but I’m always grateful whenever a taller stranger notices what I’m trying to do and takes the thing off the shelf for me out of the kindness of his/her heart, because depending on how heavy or breakable the product packaging is, it can be a dangerous business 😅
I always ask the closest tall person, at the store, to reach things! I mean, I would get things from the bottom shelf for them ,if they asked! 😉
I'm 4'11" and my fiance' is 5'6"- we lucked out, it's kind of perfect haha.
We've had issues with the height thing when it has come to exes (and people) for both of us.
This skit was hilariously accurate
Are y’all gonna have kids and risk vertically challenging an innocent boy for the rest of his life?
I’m 💀… Drew is so naturally funny 😂!!! I hope to see his show in person one day😅
Drew, you're great and an inspiration too. I'm so glad to see your success.
It's really amazing how far he has come. What a sweet story. I like to find his old stuff and listen just to see how much his speaking has improved since he hit the stage. Everything about him is glowing up and up. Love it. My favorite comedian of today.
As a tall guy, the doorframe tap is the same instinct as tong clicking. You just gotta.
Only if us shorties can slap your butt as we walk by at our "critter pace"! 😂
No, you don’t.
Short people live longer than tall people
@@dforrest4503…. Doesn’t matter if I live till I am 90 or 82. I would rather live a good life than have a slightly longer end to it
If I knew I would shrink (I’m 78) I would have hung upside down long in Freshman year when I got to 5’ even ! 😮😂
Drew, this may be the funniest clip of yours I've ever seen. I am glad I was not drinking anything, I would have done 3 spit takes. Awesome job, buddy.
I absolutely love Drew! From his first appearance on AGT to today, he is consistently hilarious and he just gets better and better!
This was one of my favorite parts of the special. My belly hurt by the end of it. Great job on this 1 Añdrés!! Been a fan since I 1st seen you on AGT & you've grown in your comedy & as an inspiration to a whole group of men that you probably have no idea how you're comedy helps us get through the day. Thank you for keeping America Great Again!! #BANANA 🍌🌊 #MMMMMM 🫴🤱🍼🤌🙋🍄🪩🪩
As a tall guy, yeah this is all pretty accurate 😂😂
I see it all the time but you guys don't notice it
@@TheDrewLynch this rarified air really messes with our vision, you know?
I'm 6 foot 4 lol and I stutter entire sentences. Lol I even have a delay in my auditory processing I swear.
@@MarkB7774 6'4" gang! We out here slapping doorframes
@@darmakx99 Be honest, we slap doorframe with our heads going down stairs.
I got a friend that’s always saying old people jokes to me because I’m 67 and he’s in his 40s but he’s short so I got some comebacks for him, thanks for this video
5'1 since 5th grade. Can confirm. 😂
Slap that curb Drew, slap it. 😂😂
You should have felt taller in 5th grade and shorter when you were 21 i guess
This is hilarious.
Drew left out the biggest complaint my short friends have, but maybe it's only a female thing: taller people patting the tops of their heads, calling them 'cute,' and assuming they have the right to bodily pick them up.
It sucks so much in FL thats why everyones moving there.
If you're wrong it's a felony 😆👏😆. You freaking kill me Drew
HOW I RESPOND TO CLOWNS IS “DON’T WORRY, I HAVE MORE THAN ENOUGH SIZE WHERE IT MATTERS MOST.” 😉😂
These 10-14 min clips are GOLD bro! F’ing Hilarious!!! This defiantly delivered
Dude i saw your clips back in the day idk how you overcame the stutter but its amazing, with or without you are dope
The "you had to find a building to high five you, bud; that's not a real friend" got me XDDDD
omg, the toy, i just startled my cat and woke my mother in law, giving an explanation to neither. lmao epic!
He's got the critter pace. 😂
That's it, I'm slapping curbs now!
As a short person in a family of tall people I enjoy reminding them I am fun size.
You just keep getting better Drew! Absolutely crushing it.
As another short adult man I felt this to my core, and I can probably never see Shrek again hahah
Sign of a awesome 👌 comedy set: me rushing to the bathroom before I wet myself.
And "Andrés" delivered. Bravo sir. You are hilarious 😂
WOW, you are hilarious! Great delivery! I was laughing continually throughout!
❤ If you can ever go see him live… Do It! He is hilarious. I cry- laughed through the whole thing.
The pain of being short. I get hell every time someone walks in my house and catches me standing on a chair looking for something in my cabinets. I look like a toddler looking for cookies. Or when someone deliberately places things out of my reach just to watch me try and get it. Grrrrrr
I legit *just* bought a reachy grabber stick for getting tall stuff down. 🤣
As a fellow short person, I understand these things too well. Although I was used as an armrest at times and would warn my tall friends that I could cut them at the knees when they called me cute. ^.^ Though will say, I can move through crowded places a lot easier.
HOW DID NO ONE LAUGH AT " I can't even smash the like button". !?!!? So funny dude , wtf.? I love comedians like Drew , the super clever humor is hilarious! ... I'm convinced the audience were all either running on low on their hearing aid battery or they were just "a little special" 😂
Drew, any plans on coming back to Ct? Had so much fun at your show!!
& Sorry I asked for a picture before hand, I didn't know we got to meet you at the end. I know you probably don't care lol but I figured I'd say it🙃
you're so funny. as a short person I have to set up things. no dishes above the second shelf, clocks have all been moved into a position where I can change the time without getting a step stool - except the chime clock on the wall ( my non short son changes that ).
As a 5' female I so relate!!!😂
As an abnormally tall guy I'm sorry to everyone for ruining photos, i have to kneel down most of the time to fit in frame
Critter pace 😂 I can relate.
I came up with, put some throttle in your waddle 😁
10:51 “I look like a toddler who saw a toy he likes”…or two toys lol. 🍉🍉
I'm a 3 time childhood cancer survivor and I've been watching you since the first time you were on AGT
As a short kid, I can totally relate to Drew. I feel ya bro
I'm 160cm/5'3; the photo thing is so true. Family pictures, it's always "short people in front!" The issue is everyone in my family, on both sides (so there was no way i'd be tall), is short. So 90% of people in front, and 3 guys, in-laws so not related by blood with the rest of us, behind 🤣
The worst i've had is a 70+yo dude patting me on the head at the end of our convo at a dinner party. I wasn't 10; I was 42... there's no way he would have done the same to another guy there about my age, but over 180cm/6 foot... I guess for him i wasn't a short man but a tall boy...
Anyway, i agree with another comment, come over to Australia!
I can't believe he patted you on the head! How uncouth!
@@heatherrobinson4460 ikr I was shocked

Door frame tapper’s probably also wearing sunglasses at nighttime
I'm 5'3" - Ya got me by 1 *lol*
Damn, totally felt the whole thing about being up front in photos.
7:06 the joke about how short people hate when tall people touch the top of the door frame lol, my son turned 14 last week and he’s 5’6/7 and I’m his mother, 5’1 and I got mad over the weekend when he did that 😂
Im 5'9 mother 5'5 but I never disrespect her. Sometimes I feel guilty the difference is so big. (I'm 14)
My bestie is like 6ft and I’m 5’3, and now I know the name to when I’m walking fast behind him trying to keep up, “critter pace” 😫🤣
youre one of the few comedians that makes me lose my breath when laughing holy shit keep it up i am excited for your hilarious future friend!
The critter pace is so real xD
Man, that cracked me up.
That actually caused me physical pain from laughing so hard.
Thanks man.
Personally, I like being able to fit comfortably in planes and roller coasters…😂
My man is 5’6” and I’m 5’10” . He has the confidence of giant. He is so funny , attractive etc. We’ve been together for 22 years and the looks we get, it’s so funny, we laugh at it all the time! I even wear heels when out with him. He doesn’t give a sh*t. We just love each other.
Short has a negative connotation… You got shorted, shortcomings. Little is a better descriptor.
Therefore, it’s not short king far quad😂
It’s Little king… Orion ✨
I felt understood and attacked at the same time! The short people in the front bit is so familiar, but then he came at me for tapping the top of the door frame. It's a good time for a lil stretch okay? Love Drew man, one of my favorite comedians.
I finally found someone shorter thatn me! 😊 It's all good Drew, I'll reach the cereal for you. There are benefits to being short. We somehow walk faster than taller people.. honestly, we just move faster in general.
When he said “knees and toes,” I lost it 😂😂😂 almost choked on my own spit
I've seen this a lot, and it's still awesome.
Keep up the good work mate.
At least you can hide under things.
