Vedic Brahmanism is the closest cosmology recorded of the original proto Indo-European culture, and the one the Vedas introduced in India. And Sanskrit is the closest language to proto Indo-European Buddhism basically originated because some guy opposed the caste system that the Vedas established in India, since when the Aryans conquered the Melanesian dravidian tribes they established the caste system to segregate themselves from the conquered sudras. The founding cosmology in the Rigveda telling how Indra conquered the dark skinned enemy tribes, all come from there. Buddhism only came to be far later. And Buddhism spread to the far East which is when the Aryan cultural influence in Japanese culture comes from, all the cultural motifs Buddhism introduced like Swastika (manji), praying beads, praying wheels, etc. are the Indo-European influence in Japan culture, and Buddhist temples and statues in Indonesia and other Asian locations

Zenki along with Saint Seiya and Gundam Wing were the first anime that I've watch in the late 90s and early 2000s and even to this day(2014) they are still my top 3 favorite anime of all time.

This and Sailor Moon were my first anime back in Mexico at 6 or 7 years old (I think there was a much older version of Sailor Moon before the 90s, where her hair strands dramatically increased in length after her transformation), and I seriously feel like I'm the only person who remembers this anime even exists.
I've just finished Zenki. It is not the anime that has the same caliber as others but it's good. The opening music so far is the best for me especially at the beginning when Zenki is kneeling and slowly rising; it's so cool. Also one thing I like is that it gives me inuyasha and kagome vibes. Hahaha

I've just finished Zenki. It is not the anime that has the same caliber as others but it's good. The opening music so far is the best for me especially at the beginning when Zenki is kneeling and slowly rising; it's so cool. Also one thing I like is that it gives me inuyasha and kagome vibes. Hahaha

so much nostalgia! i remember before that whenever i eat a hard boiled egg, i always left the round yolk and call it "binhi ng kadiliman" before eating it, imagining im zenki.
