I like the clone wars episode where two clones say “Look what you did! I can’t believe what you did” which is a reference to Sean Connery line in The Last Crusade. Also the lightsaber sound effect when the temple floor opens in Temple of Doom!
My favorite has gotta be that last Tales comic with Indy and Short Round appearing. There was also an easter egg never meant to be in Detours where the trailer showed Han donning everyone’s favorite fedora.
@@Gabedudley1 Dude, George put a carving of R2 and 3PO in Raiders of the Lost Ark. And as the video said, stuff like the Ark of the Covenant and staff of Ra appear in season 1 of Clone Wars, long before Disney purchased it.
There is another reference in the Clone Wars. In on of the Zygerria episodes. In one episode Obi-Wan and Rex are forced to work In a mine like factory (a reference itself). But if you listen carefully you can hear the same screams from Temple of Doom. The screams Indy hears just after recovering the Sankara stones and just before he enters the slave mines.
Also in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, after beating the FN-2199 boss fight, a cutscene plays where he swings his baton around wildly, and Han almost shot him as Indie did in his own movie.
In the Class Progression Trailer for the Smuggler class in SWTOR, when they are showing off the Smuggler subclass the Scoundrel, they reference Raiders of the Lost Ark. They show the Smuggler on Tatooine and have a Sith jump down and twirl their saberstaff, only to have the Smuggler kill them with their scattergun in a single shot, referencing Indy killing that flexing swordsman in the Cairo sequence
In The Last Crusade, the Empire March can be heard being played on a piano And it's also worth mentioning Lego Star Wars (the originals) allowing you to play as Indiana Jones, and Lego Indiana Jones allowing you to play as Han Solo
I know its not technically "Indiana jones" but in the 1st lego Indiana Jonas game you can find 5 Star Wars characters hidden throughout the levels of the game
I always loved that bit, but I was a little sad that there were only 5, not to mention that three of them were in the first three levels. I think it could've been kind of cool if there was one character to find in each level, maybe something like: The Lost Temple: C-3PO Into the Mountains: Luke Skywalker City of Danger: Chewbacca The Well of Souls: Admiral Ackbar Pursuing the Ark: Mon Mothma Opening the Ark: The Emperor Shanghai Showdown: Lando Calrissian Pankot Secrets: Jabba the Hutt The Temple of Kali: Darth Vader Free the Slaves: Princess Leia Escape the Mines: Greedo Battle on the Bridge: Gonk Droid The Hunt for Sir Richard: Boba Fett Castle Rescue: Grand Moff Tarkin Motorcycle Escape: Wicket Trouble in the Sky: Yoda Desert Ambush: R2-D2 Temple of the Grail: Obi-Wan Kenobi
In Rise of Skywalker, John William’s character Oma Tres on Kijimi has 51 movie Easter eggs from films he’s done the scores for including the Sankara Stones and Indy’s whip as well references to Harry Potter, Jaws and many more!
I appreciate this video a lot. I love Indiana Jones so much I ended up putting together my own costume and going as far as learning how to make a fedora for it.
The Sankara Stones have appeared in Star Wars before! They were in Lady Qi’ra’s collection in Crimson Reign #3, and also behind John Williams’ character Oma Tres in TROS (alongside a Star Wars-ified version of Indy’s whip).
What about in Mando Sr1 Chapter 2: The Child and Mando is getting his parts back from the jawas climbing up the sand crawler and they try and run it into the cliff?
You missed two from Vader Down: 1) Han aiming a rifle at Aphra while on higher ground, demanding she let Luke go - just like Indy did with Belloq over Marion. 2) "AAAAAHHH! Not Wasp-Worms! Anything but Wasp-Worms!" - Aphra
In the opening scene of The Last Crusade, on boat, there is a moment where a flash of lightning illuminates the scene and the word "carboneto" is written on one of the barrels.
The Mandalorian Season 1 Ep 2 (around the 7:10 mark during the Jawa sandcrawler scene) is very similar to Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade tank battle (1:34:30)
one of the Jedi Prince novels YA books had a illustration of the prophets of the dark side with a display case with the Ark of the covenant behind them. its been 20 years so I forget which book it is.
Im sad my boy Proach from Rebels wasn’t mentioned here. He’s named after Pat Roach from the Indy films. When he and Zeb fight they even use a listing from the plane fight scene.
I’m not that much invested in the Jones franchise but the last crusade imo is the one that sticked with me the most because it is the one which I feel like had the best plot with the best satisfying conclusion, dynamic father and son duo relationship, and not to mention it is funniest of all the Indy films, which I still today laugh at lol.
✨SPOILERS✨ Star Wars: Scoundrels by Timothy Zhan sees Han Solo running away from a giant orb (saying what is it would be a bigger spoiler) with a whip, using the whip to get people out of the way so they don't get hurt. Zhan is a huge fan of Indiana Jones!
Indiana gets shot at so much and never gets hit . His luck is just to good, jumped from that plane and then the force probably led him to the village to help the children. 🧐
There's a star wars reference in Last Crusade, on the ship in the opening there's a box you can barely make out it's says carbon something which could be a reference to Carbonite from the star wars universe.
My George Lucas is a sickhead LMAO...I'm talking about the fact that he was sure Star Wars would be a flop he took a vacation to hawaii then thats when he & his friend Spielberg created Indianna Jones..its still hilarious story listening to. that sure flop turned out to be one of the greatest films though
My favorite reference is in a new hope when Princess Leia says, “My favorite movie is Indiana Jones. That boulder was scary. And I like his whip” Classic line from a classic film
I'm telling you man, The World Between Worlds makes Indiana Jones and Star Wars part of the same universe. The relics can have their own origins in either franchise, there are clearly copies made along the way, too, aliens can come over from Star Wars while Humans can come over from Earth into the Star Wars Galaxy, if you want, you can have Ilsa fall down the pit and that led to a portal to the World Between Worlds, from there she made her way to Corellia, a bastard child can then eventually have decendants that look just like Han Solo and it make sense more than just coincidence; things are just going back and forth all the time for all the easter eggs to be canon in both franchises. Is it a gross misuse of the World Between Worlds? Well, only if you want it to be. It's better than trying to alter the timeline and break the universe to replace stories you don't like because that's not how the World Between Worlds works at all. It exists outside of time and space, the Force and the gods and supernatural forces of Indy's franchise both work in mysterious ways, but none of this is actually breaking any rules for the World Between Worlds that I can tell. Headcanon babyyyyyy!
Rebels Season 2 Ep 18 - Shroud of Darkness - as the ancient Jedi temple collapses, a force vision of Yoda waves goodbye to Ashoka as the rubble falls reminiscent of the Knight at the end of Last Crusade.
I like the clone wars episode where two clones say “Look what you did! I can’t believe what you did” which is a reference to Sean Connery line in The Last Crusade.
Also the lightsaber sound effect when the temple floor opens in Temple of Doom!

Pretty sure there was a scene in The Mandalorian that mimicked Indy's bag getting stuck on the tank turret with an outcropping looming ahead.
I always love how intertwined these two universes are, even though they’re vastly different kinds of franchises
@@Gabedudley1 Dude, George put a carving of R2 and 3PO in Raiders of the Lost Ark. And as the video said, stuff like the Ark of the Covenant and staff of Ra appear in season 1 of Clone Wars, long before Disney purchased it.
@@Gabedudley1 Because he created both of them

In Temple Of Doom, when the engines of the Cargo Plane cut out, it sounds exactly like the Falcon when her engines failed in ESB.
Yup! Lots of Star Wars sound effects in Indiana Jones thanks to the genius of Ben Burtt working on both franchises
Also in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, after beating the FN-2199 boss fight, a cutscene plays where he swings his baton around wildly, and Han almost shot him as Indie did in his own movie.
Lego Star Wars 2 also has Indy as an unlockable character, while Han Solo is an unlockable character In Lego Indiana Jones.
Han actually did shoot FN-2199 like in the Indy scene in "Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
In the Class Progression Trailer for the Smuggler class in SWTOR, when they are showing off the Smuggler subclass the Scoundrel, they reference Raiders of the Lost Ark. And you can unlock Indy in Lego Star Wars 2 from watching the trailer for the first Indy game in the Star Wars game.
I always loved that bit, but I was a little sad that there were only 5, not to mention that three of them were in the first three levels. I think it could've been kind of cool if there was one character to find in each level, maybe something like:
The Lost Temple: C-3PO

City of Danger: Chewbacca
The Well of Souls: Admiral Ackbar
Pursuing the Ark: Mon Mothma
Opening the Ark: The Emperor
Shanghai Showdown: Lando Calrissian
Pankot Secrets: Jabba the Hutt
The Temple of Kali: Darth Vader
Free the Slaves: Princess Leia
Escape the Mines: Greedo
Battle on the Bridge: Gonk Droid
The Hunt for Sir Richard: Boba Fett
Castle Rescue: Grand Moff Tarkin
Motorcycle Escape: Wicket
Trouble in the Sky: Yoda
Desert Ambush: R2-D2
Temple of the Grail: Obi-Wan Kenobi

Starting to think that that Galaxy isn't as Far Far Away as I first thought.
love these two are intertwined I wonder what Star Wars references Indy 5 Will have
What about in Mando Sr1 Chapter 2: The Child and Mando is getting his parts back from the jawas climbing up the sand crawler and they try and run it into the cliff?
Very nice video on the two Lucas franchises.
Is Governor Pryce also based off of Irina Spalko from kingdom of the crystal skull?

I heard someone say that "Indiana Jones" was Han Solo dreaming when he was frozen in carbonite. I kind of like that idea.
I noticed that
Rex's scar is modeled after Harrison Ford's
I've been waiting for another Indiana Jones video. Also, where's your intro? Are you creating a new one?
oh man im sure all the people adding these eggs are giggling saying "IT BELONGS IN A MEUSUEM"
I heard the Ark was in the junk pile in a loud City.
Great video. Some of the greatest storytelling and cinema of all time
When will we get the Indy 5 Trailer?!
its premiering in June i think December for a teaser though it may debut in 2023
one of the Jedi Prince novels YA books had a illustration of the prophets of the dark side with a display case with the Ark of the covenant behind them. its been 20 years so I forget which book it is.

Great video. Love both franchises too. My son and I are dressing up as Indy and Mutt for Halloween this year.

Yeah The Last Crusade is my favorite as well
Last Crusade also my fave here. When it comes to that one and Raiders for arguments as to which is the best one, I feel thats up to personal taste.
@@myriadmediamusings in its trilogy including Star Wars I like Beginnings and Endings for some reasons
Another thing, there was Indiana Jones cameo in Star Wars Phantom Menace.
The Ark also appeared in bad batch s2 now

The fertility idol makes me wonder if there is a connection between Luthen and Enfys Nest.
Did the "Indiana Jones" movies ever use the Wilhelm Scream?
yes, in every movie
They also have another easter egg
The white light in the sky at night..
Wich is also in tons of other media lol
Ahhhh that was a lovely video 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤

There might be some references in video games. I know LEGO games have them.
