I appreciate Rachel’s question & Dani’s insight about what to do when someone uses racist language. It’s important to call it out without attacking someone or being aggressive (unless they’re being intentionally nasty). All too often I have been incredibly uncomfortable and offended in the presence people (living in TX) and choose to distance & disassociate rather than confronting the issue with patience.

If Memphis was a rumored alternate on the cast, I think it is possible Memphis's ego was a bit bruised knowing David was not an alternate and he was a "rookie", so he wanted him out. Just my opinion.
That's an issue with production not David. Once Memphis put David on slop and nominated him the 1st time that was enough. Calling him dumb all the time, calling him boy and kid when David is just 6-7 yrs younger than Memphis, pushing him hard after a comp (Cody & Enzo reenacted it) was too far. Memphis could want him out but making it such an obsession that he wasted a chance at 500k over it was ridiculous. Disliking the circumstance is understandable. Christmas and Dani were also upset over his rookie status but they didn't waste HOHs with POVs on it. Every interview Memphis is asked about his treatment of David...he made that his All Star legacy

I think they should give it a go...do not think they intentionally wanted to hurt anyone and think it is best for all involved in the long run to find out now rather than later.
Memphis was picking David because he never played the game and was on an all star season. This didnt hurt Memphis ego, rather he felt david needed to earn his stripes to sit at the "big boy" table.
Everyone knows its not a good idea to make more enemies so he would have continued to pick him until he was out of the game.
This doesnt make Memphis racist in the slightest. I dont know Memphis, and he could be racist...but his game play "attacks" toward David do not remotely warrant the circumstances to consider him racist.
It wasn't Memphis's business who production put in the house. I wondered if he was told that in the diary room.

If someone uses a slur of any kind in your presence, you need to stop them right then and there and ask them if you just heard what you think you just heard. They need to be called out when it happens. People need to learn that it's just not okay to use these words. They can get mad or whatever else, but for me personally, I'm happy to be rid of such people. If they're using slurs in everyday speech, they've got issues I'd rather not deal with.
I wish Jason was a little better informed on the alumni dynamics of the BB community. He's sweet as can be but it's odd that he's co-hosting a BB podcast and didn't know about the feud between Evel and Paul.
@Nunovurbznzsodontask I don't entirely disagree, but he committed to this podcast for whatever reason and IMO should be better prepared.
I agree if you're going to talk about something serious, you should research the facts and Especially the context. Not only was Evel wrong, Paul using a cut clip from 4yrs ago (to make an enemy look bad) is important context.
@Rick Zel Normally I would agree, this case is slightly different however. Because he invited a guest on to speak about a non-game related issue (Evel's video) I think he also had a responsibility to better educate himself about the context of the situation.

Memphis would beat Enzo tho. They may not like him, but he is respected and straight-foward, and wasn't in any drama. Even David said it. Memphis made moves. As opposed to Enzo, who followed Cody, and just did what was best for Cody, and made no moves.

It sucks that Rachel really wanted to get on, but the producers wouldn't allow her since she is pregnant. To be fair to producers though; I don't know how far she would have made it on the show and the competitions she would have played.

It'll be interesting to see how the jury votes, since it's a mix of old and new school BB players. What's important to them to determine a winner may be slightly different.
Man, this conversation actually helped me. I've always taken the approach or had the hope that since I don't use that racist word nor do many people in my generation that I know of, that eventually these hateful words would just cease to be used. Such a passive approach to something I feel passionate about. Her saying "nah you can't say that"...has given me a new perspective to be more aggressive and less passive in my response from now on.
After finale......cody deserved the win yes, but I was surely rooting for Enzo

Paul posted a video clip of ED using the N word while describing what someone else said. Paul and ED have been going back and forth for awhile now cause ED thought Paul was awful the way he treated people his season.

Why is it OK for Rachel and Elissa and Jenelle to condemn Nichole, slut shame her then preach about how they support other women. The person that clips Cody should win, otherwise it has to be Cody. He has played the best game overall and everything fell in his favour. It would also be the excitement we fans have been waiting for! I do think that if Nicole evicts Cody, he would still vote for her though and vice versa. Their friendship is pretty solid and there would not be hard feelings.

We can talk about how bad David's game was, but he outlasted BB Legends (without seeing previous seasons). His game may not be the preferred method, but most of the houseguests could've performed a lot better also...

The sad part about David is that NO one saw that he was playing BB. He made an alliance with Tyler week one and they made a deal to look out for each other and did. His downfall was he couldn't win the big comps that would have given him power. He had the read on the house and he had a good social game. He just had no comp wins.
As for Enzo evicting Cody...He's said for weeks that his mistake in S12 was evicting Britney and he won't make that mistake again, so Cody is gone if Enzo wins the last HOH.
David’s first few weeks of gameplay were abysmal. He admitted himself he was making rookie mistakes, and honestly had some really bad reads that put him in a bad spot come the second half. He burned bridges (intentionally or not) with everyone who was willing to work with him early on, and was alone by the time he got his head in the game. I agree that him making an alliance with Tyler was smart but until his last week or two in the house, he really was acting like a rookie.
@@dc98424 He was not acting like a rookie and that statement is an example of what I was referring to. He pretended to act like he didn't know what he was doing and said he was doing that in one of his DRs. He didn't want to let on to everyone that he'd watched a full season and that he knew how to play the game because he wanted to appear vulnerable. Again, would have worked had he won comps too. Tyler was the only one who knew what David was doing.

Oh Elissa bashed Nicole plenty on Twitter when the season started. I have to laugh at everyone here who loves these bullies. On Amazing Race, Rachel was talking with 2 other teams about u-turning Nic & Vic. But when RAchel told them about it, she left out the part about her and Elissa talking about it too. Even Elissa was telling Rachel to shut up when she was going off on Nicole. I see These 2 and Janelle as nothing but bullies.
Loved this episode. I am happy that I got to see these three interact together. However, I am Team Paul. Dick has trashed him for so long and it was time that ED got a massive taste of his own medicine. But I also felt sorry that Rachel got caught in the crossfire. I hope that she delivers a healthy Brenchel baby!

People forget how awkward it is to be cool with someone and then all the sudden..they say something you know that will become an issue but you just don't know what to do at the time. What if Cody sits next to Enzo and Enzo wins by 1 vote- Kevin’s vote. That would be hilarious! I don’t believe in a “bitter jury” just bad jury management. The burden isn’t on the evicted but on the ones voting them out. Don’t vote someone out without their vote. Simple.
I hear you but there are no rules on how and what people should based their vote on. When I say “I don’t believe in a bitter jury” I mean that I don’t think the jury being bitter is the jury playing wrong. Obviously bitter jury can literally exists and have always been around. my point is that it’s part of the game and if a jury is bitter against you that’s your fault not there’s. Voting people out is the name of the game but Nicole voting Da’Vonne out is the name of the game so if Da’Vonne don’t vote for Nicole is she wrong? Or if Kevin does not vote for Cody would he be wrong. It’s your job to give the houseguests what they want and at the same time find a way to get what you want. Paul lost twice because of bitter jurors and he deserved to. Same with Tyler.

I hope it’s clear and the truth is said that ED was quoting someone. Period. He has apologized profusely and has left his podcast for the season. It was not said in a malicious manner directed towards someone. I hope we are all mature and honest enough to recognize this difference. You all are implying he is a racist person which is simply not true. He did rake Paul through the coals for his repulsive behavior in BB19 which to this day Paul has not owned up to.
There will always be his minions out there that defend that piece of trash. Evel dick is on a whole different level of bullying. Not just to Paul...but to people that he simply didn’t like in the big brother house, who have never done a single thing to the guy. Sure, people realize their mistakes sometimes and they change. But based on his actions towards other people, I don’t believe he’s truly sorry. He just doesn’t want to lose his followers.
Actually believe it or not after BB19 ended, Paul addressed some of his horrible antics, to which the whole black face thing directed towards Dominique was him simply trying to beat her towards calling him a snake, in this case he did so by dressing up like a diamond back rattler. He apologised regarding that and seems like Dominique forgave him cause they remained friends till now.
Another thing that Paul addressed was his treatment towards Cody, to which he said that he respected Cody's background as a marine and had thanked him for his service on multiple occasions. However, Cody did lie about certain parts of his life and it caused Paul and majority of the house to get really skeptical and paranoid. He also actually tried to work with Cody initially but got denied so that kinda left him with no other choice but to go against Cody and Jessica.
That being said though, I'm not saying any of this to defend Paul because some of his actions in BB19 are indeed inexcusable. However, I'm one to hear both sides of the story before judging and I'm basing this off what I remembered seeing after the season ended. Unfortunately Paul seems to have deleted/archived that particular post so it's not available for public viewing now. Guess he probably just wants to move on with life.
Also it seems like ED has a tradition of reposting the clip of Josh winning BB19 on Twitter every once in a while as a FU to Paul, which is kinda childish of him to do so but ehh, it's ED I guess.

I don't have time to watch this. Just curious if Rachel totally threw Dick under the bus and is now gonna act like they aren't good friends? Interested in Danielle's response to Evel Dick's apology? I know Parker (BB9) accepted it and we will hear from Danielle Lickey (BBOTT) on Thursday on his podcast which he is making free to explain himself and I am sure give a longer apology/explanation. I don't think Dick is racist. Just ignorant and should have known not to say the word. Over the last 6-7 years I haven't seen him say it again. I love Michelle Obama, but you can't always apply that. You have to think about people who get bullied and shit. They always ignore their bullies and don't stand up for themselves. I know what that's like. Not everyone responds to civility or you ignoring them. Some MFs have to be put in their place.
