@@jebkerman5422 i tried homing balls it, but it seems to have same immunity as the new predator pals, but that doesnt mean we cant catch them, just gotta wait till some one figures out way to catch it like the tower bosses :D
@@TropsPlays i did saw some experiementing around with it, granted it was not captured but spawned in with dev commands, the game treats it like any other captured human, it only knows how to punch and is prone to glitch out the whole game, and just like with captured tower bosses, even if it's not out, the model still hover above your head and you keep hearing the helicopter noice consistantly.

@quentinturner09 Yeah, they have increased quite a few things and even removed the blue schematics from the large chest, which increases our chances even more since the pool is less. They didn't increase the books, unfortunately. I am making an oil rig guide at the minute, so it should help you out even further
@@TropsPlays The real question is, who else drops legendary schematics? All we have is this video explaining that oil rig's drop rates, but it's been reported that Fronstallion Noct can drop the laser rifle, so is there anyone else?
I got the legendary Advanced bow but I forget if it was a supply drop or from a dungeon or the lv55 oil rig. Was a nice surprise regardless. Haven’t been able to take out the helicopter yet.
New update should hopefully buff the rates of getting these now!!! "Increased the drop rate of legendary blueprints from the large chests on the Large Oil Rig, and removed uncommon blueprints from the large chest loot table."
When you disable the towers on the new islands they will not attack you again, I cleared the island and now I can fly freely. The turrets don't respawn, only the guards on the camp.
There is just a ridiculous amount of turrents but testing their range gives you an estimate of their location as well as a visual indicator in the shape of a red arrow.

@@TropsPlaysYou can get it stuck from one side where it'll try to shoot through stairs. Allowed beating it with an unreasonable number of rockets fired through stairs from one of the low docks.
The chopper can be a pain but i suggest after defeating it make a save in front of the chest open it if you dont get what you want just close the game and open it back up that way u dont have to waste time just keep doing it until you find the blueprint you want
looks like the oil rig is a catch 22 here. only way to get the weapons is on the oil rig, but the oil rig requires the weapons... in all seriousness I'm working on an oil rig build with Frosty Noct and 4 gobfins with the new bow. The base bow has 5800 power and gets a +50% bonus for headshots (8700 base) but its got standard bow reload so its DPS is probably the highest in game right now. Frosty and Frosty Noct have the highest bonus damage (+40%) which makes the arrows hit like a rocket and is the only way to make the super-tanky mobs bearable. Edit: Guided is still the best way to deal with the Helicopter, they have it configured so high that you can really only target the tail with direct attacks.
You can get the old oil rig weapons from dungeons now. I have the advanced bow at tier 2 but haven't used it due to it being Christmas (going to try it out later). Thanks for the info on the bonuses. I'm going to work out how to safely do the oil rig for new/returning players who couldn't get all the op equipment from the old oil rig. How are you doing in the update? Have you acquired any legendaries?
@@TropsPlays Nope, only did the rig once and it took forever so I stopped; 1.4mil hp is nuts. I went back to breeding up the new pals for testing. Got Bastigor, Azuremane and Faleris Aqua all maxed and am in process of replacing my Jorms with Aquas so I dont have to deal with Noodles. Managed to pull 3 of the new passives (Demon, Heart, Diamond) but neither of the 2 (Craft, Vampire) I'm going to need to upgrade my workforce so I slog on. Been working on trying to automate the new content, but its basically designed to be impossible. Base Pals wont even recognize Hexolite as a mineable resource so even if you build at the triple spawn (-1064, -1428) the pals just sit around. Expeditions to Faybreak will give you Chromite, but we are stuck riding around and collecting Hexolite and Nightbar Sand manually. I'm actually considering turning weight down to 0 just so I can go out and spend 20m farming Hexolite without having to run back and unload. so far the best Hexolite area is the Deserted Ash Plateau, and the best farm for Chromite is Scorched Hill. Edit: I haven't tried dungeons yet, but if they spawn hexolite like they used to spawn Paladium then they may be the best farm so long as you don't max weight in there.
@bobnewkirk7003 I'm also breeding, but I'm keeping that a surprise for now. I love the new passives and even the visuals. I'm always doing feybreak expeditions, I do it for the souls to help max my pals. Yeah farming atm seems hard since we can just sit back and relax.

It's definitely difficult. You can also get all the old oil rig legendary from this new oil rig but all from Normal chests so if you don't have Multi-Guided 4 you can get it here

From the dungeon, there is only 1 end game wep, and that's the laser gatlin gun. You can get stuff from the old oil rig, though, which is still decent.
I just started playing and I am about to build my first 50+ main base. Is it still best to build the main base with 6 oil extractors, a breeding base, and then put my third base at the hexolite quartz location now? Or do I move my main base to the hexolite spot? Love the videos!
@@TropsPlays They do mine Hex. You might need level 4. Mine mine them. There is a cluster of 3 hexolites right next to the oculous gate near the missle launcher base. But honestly its quicker to just farm your own Hexolite. Grab a landmount and run the sandy beaches. With chromo stuff you find abundance in caves or dungeons. Don't bother running on the surface.... takes to long

I'm still on the rig running between 7 chests trying for lightweight.... question* you showed a hold for overwold but purples work right. I did get 1 purple but it was after like 2 hours
I believe if you take out all the AA turrets in Feybreak, they do not respawn. I've been playing on a private hosted server and since I've taken them down I haven't seen the alerts anymore when flying.
Got all of the legendary exept the armours got the multi guided missie last update but i think i will pass on the armours too much grinding havent seen one!
After you defeat the helicopter you could exit the game before opening the chest. Then, when you log in, you can open it. If you don't like what u get, just log out and reload the old save and keep repeating until you get what you want.
@WomanSlayer69420 you can hide on roof tops or being crates, that's how I do the oil, can even do it with lower gear. I will make a guide on it soon I'm just finishing up this video
I mean, it works, and there's no wrong way to play. I'm not criticizing anyone who does this to save on the grind. But for me, this is about as fun as just spawning things in.
I mean this video is just explaining where/how to get the best loot, there isnt a way to speedrun it really, the grind is still very much going to happen no matter how you try to play. Palworld is a very flexible game!
Running the rig over and over isn't fun if I'm not getting anything, and I'm on xbox so no s0awning my lightweight, oh and I've scum saved for the lieghtweight 22+ hours on the rig activly grabbing chests
@ bruh it took me 1000 drops to get the helmet, 2 heat resist, grenade launcher, and the regular hexolite. At least 25+ hrs. I thought (yeah 6hrs i could do that) 🥴
I am on xbox so i cant mod to spawn in items so after 15 hours of save loading and doing the same thing almost going insane on the new oil rig to open a small chest i finally got the legendary schematic for the lightweight armor and not once did the large chest give me a armor schematic if anyone wonders i got the legendary weapon schematics easy from the large chest.
Ohh congrats on the lightweight. I've done thousands of chests, and I still don't have the legendary schematic for it. For the large oil rig chest, you will just obtain the weapons.
Does anyone know if you can get the multi rocket 4 schematic (only one I'm missing from the old oil rig) from this oil rig now? Or are the old legendary schematics still on the other oil rig?
I noticed that the supply drops won't spawn within a certain distance of each other, but the meteorite as long as it's destroyed will spawn another meteorite in the same place. Standing in the same spot for supply crates is not working for me?
Hey, would you happen to know why I'm not getting feybreak items? Dark frags, predator cores, bounty papers etc. I removed mods, verified game files and still nothing :(
Dark fragments are found all over the island. Predator cores can only be found by killing predator pals. They have a red aura. For tokens you have to defeat or capture the bounties all over the map (the himans)
Yeah, I've killed about 20 predator pals, not a single drop. Frags are supposed to drop from dark pals on the island and I've almost killed all bounties and never any papers just coins
Im not sure the legendary laser minigun schematic goes above epic, ive opened the large chest on the oil rig 300+ times using the rollback method to test what legendaries i can get and not once have i seen a legendary minigun. Just thought id give you a heads up.
They do but the drops rates are absolutely the lowest they can possibly be so you'll never ever get it. You have a statically better chance of winning the lottery,
I got all the new legendary weapons schematics by saving the game. If I don't get what I want then I force quit it so it doesn't save. I gave up on the armor though
@NicholasSanchez-df7ls I've done about 5k oil rig large chests since the update, and I've still not got the legendary Cannon and Lightweight Hexolite. I've had about 20 books, though
Sadly it does have different spawns. I've only seen it one time in the same spot as your video. They must've updated it quick. I've seen 2 spots so fsr. Can't find it now.
For the main box? There has been four locations it has spawn for me. One - Helo pad to the left with the 3 big guys guarding it. 2- front of the righ. 3-Rear of the rig ontop of the building near the tall tower. 4-rear right of the rig bottom of the tower. Only four spots I have seen it located.
I just got a Legendary Laser Rifle from the Pal Disassembly unit running Frost. Nocts, Mimmog, a freed Lulu, and a freed Goriat Terra both from the Feybreak missile battery camps. The FN's and Mimmogs were bred. The MM's were bred for Pal XP training (XL). I wasn't paying attention as they ran through the grinder so I don't know which pal dropped it. Has anyone experienced something similar?
@@GerardoRodriguez-rq6nn Are you playing on hard or a modified difficulty? I play on hard, and the oil rig is mostly unplayable, and not worth the pain trying to take down the chopper. No good rewards, and it's the only place to get a sliver of a chance at the new lightweight armor. Take it to PocketPair and let them know their rng ain't worth it.
I went and set my supply drop to every minute but im only getting uncommon no rare, epic or legendary. Even my oil rig runs are starting to disappoint me with how many times i have done them
Yeah, it's all rmg. Unfortunately, they should add a system to where if you've done x number of chests, then you get this drop. Form oil rig, you can save the game by logging out. When you loot the oil rig and don't get what you want, you can just reload and do it again instead of waiting 30 minutes.
You just go around exploring, you will come across a cave entrance , when up close it will tell you to press a key to enter on pc it's F. Then, when you're inside, you have to explore he dungeons to find the dungeon boss before you can claim your rewards. I could create a ugeons guide for you.
@Reaper84583 ohh oki, when you go up to the dungeons you will need 4 tokens. They all have different names to represent different pals. On your map you will see alpha boss, defeating them will give you the token for that pal.
I was disappointed when we couldn't catch the helicopter or the final boss. I also been farming since release of the DLC and have yet to get any legendary items.......
If you're on singleplayer, after you defeat the helicopter, exit the game. When you open the chest, if you don't like your item, just log out and reload the save and open the chest again. Keep doing this until you obtain the drop you want.
Why does everyone need the legendary? It takes an unrealistic amount of resources. I would be more than happy with the blue, but there is no information about them, only about the legendary.
I would love to find these, but I was expecting new island meaning new map so get to access it right away. I am not grinding all the way back up to 50+ just to access this content since all my save files became corrupt with the update
man, it sucks to have all your progress destroyed by a corrupt save... at least if you play singleplayer, you can just crank the settings up to boost yourself up again with somewhat lessened nightmares.
@@Deadpool69ftw ok then, lemme type a up a quick step by step from scratch for ya then. 1. click start game. 2. Create new world. 3. name your world. 4. Where it says Difficulty, below it is a button that says "Custom Settings", hit that. 5. there you got, all manner of settings there to customize your gameplay experience. Most if not all settings can freely be changed at any point you feel like, like lets say you crank EXP rate to x20 and hit lvl50 and feel like you wanna slow down again to x1 rates, just exit to title, select your world again and click Custom settings again to change settings around to your liking. Hope this helps you out

Yeah I seen the notes. With them just removing the blue prints increases everything else.

All the feybreak open world chest can drop legendary weapon schematics too. I got a legendary lasor rifle in the feybreak purple chest on the islands

I really hate how bad the drop rates are, last oil rig I ran loads never got half so ended up getting a mod and buying the schematics

For laser towers on oil rigs - you can dism** when * to avoid lasers and mount again

No, keep your main base at the oil. Pals don't even mine Hexolite at this moment in time.

@jay14n for the overworld open chests, you can get the armor up to legendary, but that doesn't include Lightweight

pretty sure if you dissable the turrets they dont come back allowing you just to fly after they are disabled.
They come back after a couple hours. Dunno how many exactly tho, but is enough to do a couple runs across the map.

Agree but even with speed g up the drops it still took me just over 6 hours stood still
Running the rig over and over isn't fun if I'm not getting anything, and I'm on xbox so no s0awning my lightweight, oh and I've scum saved for the lieghtweight 22+ hours on the rig activly grabbing chests

How long did it take you to get the legendary armor and helmet after making the supply drop 1 minute?
For me about 6 hours
@ bruh it took me 1000 drops to get the helmet, 2 heat resist, grenade launcher, and the regular hexolite. At least 25+ hrs. I thought (yeah 6hrs i could do that) 🥴

I am on xbox so i cant mod to spawn in items so after 15 hours of save loading and doing the same thing almost going insane on the new oil rig to open a small chest i finally got the legendary schematic for the lightweight armor and not once did the large chest give me a armor schematic if anyone wonders i got the legendary weapon schematics easy from the large chest.
Ohh congrats on the lightweight. I've done thousands of chests, and I still don't have the legendary schematic for it.
For the large oil rig chest, you will just obtain the weapons.
Does anyone know if you can get the multi rocket 4 schematic (only one I'm missing from the old oil rig) from this oil rig now? Or are the old legendary schematics still on the other oil rig?

I noticed that the supply drops won't spawn within a certain distance of each other, but the meteorite as long as it's destroyed will spawn another meteorite in the same place. Standing in the same spot for supply crates is not working for me?

Did they really need to stick anti air batteries in Feybreak? Nothing like Jetragon getting pelted with rockets when you have no FT nearby
Once you disable the turrets they don't actually come back

you can get the helmet anywhere on feybreak even the open world chests.

Good luck. I went crazy with the last island and farmed countless dungeons to get absolutely nothing of a legendary schematic.
Hey, would you happen to know why I'm not getting feybreak items? Dark frags, predator cores, bounty papers etc. I removed mods, verified game files and still nothing :(
Dark fragments are found all over the island. Predator cores can only be found by killing predator pals. They have a red aura. For tokens you have to defeat or capture the bounties all over the map (the himans)
Yeah, I've killed about 20 predator pals, not a single drop. Frags are supposed to drop from dark pals on the island and I've almost killed all bounties and never any papers just coins
@@fusion8623 check your world settings, you may have accidentally turned down the pal drop rate. if not, then you might need to reinstall
@fusion8623 you definitely have a problem because the preditors cores can only be dropped by preditors, you get 3 per kill
Im not sure the legendary laser minigun schematic goes above epic, ive opened the large chest on the oil rig 300+ times using the rollback method to test what legendaries i can get and not once have i seen a legendary minigun. Just thought id give you a heads up.

They do but the drops rates are absolutely the lowest they can possibly be so you'll never ever get it. You have a statically better chance of winning the lottery,
I got all the new legendary weapons schematics by saving the game. If I don't get what I want then I force quit it so it doesn't save. I gave up on the armor though
The armor is just too ridiculously low that it isn't worth it

Sadly it does have different spawns. I've only seen it one time in the same spot as your video. They must've updated it quick. I've seen 2 spots so fsr. Can't find it now.
For the main box? There has been four locations it has spawn for me. One - Helo pad to the left with the 3 big guys guarding it. 2- front of the righ. 3-Rear of the rig ontop of the building near the tall tower. 4-rear right of the rig bottom of the tower. Only four spots I have seen it located.

I just got a Legendary Laser Rifle from the Pal Disassembly unit running Frost. Nocts, Mimmog, a freed Lulu, and a freed Goriat Terra both from the Feybreak missile battery camps. The FN's and Mimmogs were bred. The MM's were bred for Pal XP training (XL). I wasn't paying attention as they ran through the grinder so I don't know which pal dropped it.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Yes due to the new update there plenty of way to obtain the old oil rig equipment.

@@GerardoRodriguez-rq6nn Are you playing on hard or a modified difficulty? I play on hard, and the oil rig is mostly unplayable, and not worth the pain trying to take down the chopper. No good rewards, and it's the only place to get a sliver of a chance at the new lightweight armor. Take it to PocketPair and let them know their rng ain't worth it.

I went and set my supply drop to every minute but im only getting uncommon no rare, epic or legendary. Even my oil rig runs are starting to disappoint me with how many times i have done them
Yeah, it's all rmg. Unfortunately, they should add a system to where if you've done x number of chests, then you get this drop.
Form oil rig, you can save the game by logging out. When you loot the oil rig and don't get what you want, you can just reload and do it again instead of waiting 30 minutes.

You just go around exploring, you will come across a cave entrance , when up close it will tell you to press a key to enter on pc it's F.
Then, when you're inside, you have to explore he dungeons to find the dungeon boss before you can claim your rewards.
I could create a ugeons guide for you.

They all have different names to represent different pals.
On your map you will see alpha boss, defeating them will give you the token for that pal.

I was disappointed when we couldn't catch the helicopter or the final boss. I also been farming since release of the DLC and have yet to get any legendary items.......
If you're on singleplayer, after you defeat the helicopter, exit the game. When you open the chest, if you don't like your item, just log out and reload the save and open the chest again.
Keep doing this until you obtain the drop you want.

Why does everyone need the legendary? It takes an unrealistic amount of resources. I would be more than happy with the blue, but there is no information about them, only about the legendary.
All level schematics are from the same places just at a higher drop rate.

I would love to find these, but I was expecting new island meaning new map so get to access it right away. I am not grinding all the way back up to 50+ just to access this content since all my save files became corrupt with the update

man, it sucks to have all your progress destroyed by a corrupt save... at least if you play singleplayer, you can just crank the settings up to boost yourself up again with somewhat lessened nightmares.

1. click start game.
2. Create new world.
3. name your world.
4. Where it says Difficulty, below it is a button that says "Custom Settings", hit that.
5. there you got, all manner of settings there to customize your gameplay experience.
Most if not all settings can freely be changed at any point you feel like, like lets say you crank EXP rate to x20 and hit lvl50 and feel like you wanna slow down again to x1 rates, just exit to title, select your world again and click Custom settings again to change settings around to your liking.
