This entire album was good from the beginning to the end. Change was one of the many good bands back in the early 80s that got lost in the crowd, along with the BB&Q Band. If either one of those bands had gotten their start today instead of back then, they'd both be in the Hall of Fame no doubt. Two of the most underrated R&B group's of all-time.
and that's what you take away from this!? I know you are joking but I was thinking it would be like saying the the problem with Mona Lisa was that Leonardo da Vinci used too much black! Guess the 808 was new at the time and lets face it, back then a drum machine would have costed more than an entire studio set up costs today! Change getting their moneys worth! Oh no! Wow, is this really Rick Brennan, during this time I was about 19 years old, but my friends and I were all music lovers and even tried to start up our own band lol, looking back, we were already late in the game, but I must add that change was one of our all time favorites, even to this day, the music is timeless, and still resonates, we still listen on a regular, and bought most of the groups album's, lol, album's right, but yeah when we could afford it we definitely supported you all, when you actually had to go into the record store to purchase, and we supported the live shows as well, thanks so much for sharing such a wonderful gift and talent that you all were blessed with, peace, and love to "change" will always support, 💯
One of my favourite albums ever. Nostalgic memories of Summer 84 when I was at Uni and playing it to death. Still fresh and the perfect combo of Soul with Italo sensibilities /melodies.
The production on this record is top notch, would even give today's producers a run for their money. I just love the 80s funk sound...brings so many good memories of those house party's we had back in the day.

a big hug from germany, it was a little bit difficult to buy your music at the days, must from my hometown drive to munich. I drive one hour to the shop, its called WOM and on the way home the time flies with your music and makes me very happy, always a smile on my face. I have been here listening on the net because it is the only place where fans like myself, can share our love & admiration for one of the best groups to ever emerge from an era that ended to quickly, Change, you along with Chic, changed the music landscape. Thank you.

This is one of Phil Oakey's favourite albums, lead singer of the Human League.
