I’m embarrassed to admit I didn’t realise this was a book first but it doesn’t surprise me. It was a stunning film. It made me feel something wonderful. I will now search out the book.
The book , i even feel you will be closer to the interection of the main characters and it is amazing how the author manages to present the horrors of a war with the most audacious and pure human warmth hope to counteract it.
