In China or maybe and Russia, mainstream that color painting by oil, acrylics are starting this way. Outline all the subjects and certify the light and dark part. And then detailed.
Craig Cowell That is so mean, some people just don’t appreciate other people’s abilities the way they should. How dare you insult Joao Roberto like that.
Of course its edited. Its a presentation of process not a tutorial. I fail to see what part makes no sense. It jumps from blocked in colors and tones to blended colors and tones.
I have a portrait commission to do and I love to watch you paint before I start , it helps me to plan out my approach and get excited about getting started. Thanks for sharing
are you a magician?because this is Magic..very few people on this planet has such a unique talent..your paintings are waaayyy too real..thanks for sharing your priceless talent with the world..
So many people willing to tear down real talent just because they personally don't understand the process. The middle of it is never going to look like the end, it looks like a mess. That mess is what beauty is built upon- what gives it its depth.
Milander just milander ? I didnt say anything ike this I just think its quite useless to post a video where you show how a potrait is developing and then you leave out the most important part. I understand why you dont want to share your 'secret' or how you might call it, what you collected from years of practice, BUT THEN please dont post a video to clickbait the shit out of people who want to have that knowledge. Srsly humans could be way more developed if they would not protect and hide their knowledge but share and develope it together, in science and arts.
I'm 48 and just did my first painting with acrylics... not very inspiring. Then I watched this and it made me want to paint some more. What human beings can do is amazing! Thanks for sharing.
So relaxing and what a wonderful way of editing step by step adding the perfect speed. Thanks for sharing such an amazing talent and technique. It's so free! Is the way I've always wanted to paint. I guess is never too late. 💕
i found this style of painting very intriguing and funny to watch, excellent work ps. i couldn't stop laughing when you suddenly stopped moving the brush
wish you hadn't skipped the part where the face shapes were coming together /: that was the highlight of the video considering the style you edited and filmed the rest is good tho very nice piece and interesting technique ^^
So glad you painted a lite complexion and light hair subject. My wife is similar to your model and I hope to gain skill to paint her portrait. Thanks for a fine demonstration. Would like to see your full length video also.
First minute I thought it was a joke because it looked like a stick figure face (I've never seen someone paint a portrait without drawing pencil lines down first) but OMG this was amazing
crissi issy that’s how you’re supposed to start a painting actually, not like most ig/yt “artists” who settle every single detail before even starting the painting
wow started with agressives lines and finished like a diamond awsome
Thank you!
what an unusual way to start a painting but what a great result in the end
Thanks.

I love that you did not start with a pencil sketch, it was all via rough brush marks. Amazing, and very impressive. Well done.
the transition from 3:54 to 3:56 makes absolutely no sense and is edited out.
Alan Rushlow I think he edited out his blending of The Strokes.
My thoughts exactly.
Charlie Sands maybe or maybe not. I wish it wasn’t edited out
Totally edited

You might and all it takes is lots of practice and knowing what shades of paint to use.
This is a magic trick, not art. You were fooled.

I think the part that he left out was when he ripped it up and started again.
Actually 3:55 is the part that frustrated me the most, it went from sketchy/blobby to realism and god knows how.
