Golden Form only gives a flat damage boost to give. It doesn't give you a negative stat in defense nor a resistance to ki damage, unless XenoVerse pulled a hidden patch out of nowhere...which wouldn't surprise me at this point.
They nerfed its ki recovery awhile back and they also made it where Frieza Race CaCs don't recover stamina while attacking in gold mode when that's not the case for their base form.

Speaking of creating/editing character presets, why dont you use some of the modded moves/transformations on your Cacs? even better some of the clothing/hair/body options thats lying around? i mean i get that Cast character sells the video and its Gohan Beast season and all but in the spirit of DBXV2 show your cacs some love.

you're not missing much except the ability to 1-shot but Males (especially Saiyans) can do just that to a "slightly" less effective degree... us Female Saiyans (even mains) can't 'effectively' deal with tryhard characters like; Goku & his 5,000 presets SSj4 Goku SSjGod Goku Blueku Goku Ui Goku Mui Goku Rose Goku - Gohan - Gohan (future) - Gohan (DLC, no that's not beast Gohan, that's just the new generation Gohan WITHOUT beast mode) Gogeta Blue the other DLC Gogeta - Bardock - Bardock (timebreaker) Gamma 2 FF Cooler non-FF Cooler FP & Z Broly SSBE Vegeta Jiren (not final form) and finally Fu & Hit and thats not even the custom variants which are all MORE broken... also the races/genders that hard-counter us are Male Saiyans, Male Earthlings, Female Majins and 'maybe' Namekians depending on the playstyle/build. So in short, there's only 1 good Female race that is good all around for combat.. you're not missing much.
@Ichengo oh okay, well i dont play 1v1 unless its my friends. Im a basic player. All i been doing since the game came out was doing the story, pq and few of thev raids. When i did ranked or randoms fights for the first time ,i was getting out classed by all of those characters listed

There was mention of a defense penalty given to Turn Golden… that’s why I don’t have a Frieza Race.
What an infuriating nerf to a transformation, if they're not gonna fix that they might as well just take golden form off

Playing any race is roughly a grand time. Frieza Race is nothing but everlasting hell, just pretend the male majin doesn’t even exist.
