great sage is a skill that originally had no ego it was merely a skill that presented itself by copying the voice of the voice of the world you can even see this since great sage speaks more mathematically and robotically in the first episodes (great sage copying VOTW is why until GS/Raphael's final evolution she speaks the same way/very similar to the voice of the world)
as rimuru evolved great sage began to form a weak ego you can see this happening after rimuru eats the orc disaster where she still speaks a bit more personally but still doesn't do stuff of her own volition
great sage's ego climaxes during the harvest festival where the skill out of its own volition petitions the words of the world to attempt evolution into raphael if great sage didn't do this rimuru's evolution would've only granted him the demon slime intrinsic skills and resistances and no ultimate skills
as raphael the skill itself tries to deny the fact that it became its own entity within rimuru with its own personality despite sometimes acting on its own (the anime even made raphael's voice actor speak with more emotion to make this more clear while still delivering robotic sounding lines)
and finally way later in the LN during volume 15 rimuru renames raphael into ciel which no longer has the robotic way of speaking with the "Notice:" at the begining of sentences (most probably if the anime reaches this point ciel will speak without the robotic voice filter as well similar to how raphael spoke while reviving shion and the others)
Also we see voice of the world use during harvest festive and claymen. While the other worlder guy just says he heard it talk to him

You guys, I'll explain what's great sage and voice if the world.
Voice of the world is a world system which originally used great sage's voice, great sage just copied the voice to talk with Rimuru, because he was lonely when he was in the caves.
It was probably the biggest misunderstanding earlier with Rimuru becoming a Demon Lord, I feel bad for these reaction channels trying to keep up with all the lore lol in all the shows they watch. So it doesn't surprise me to hear it sometimes now.

Luminous using "Embrace Drain" did in fact help Veldora in the end as it did "burn off" the excess energy he had that was about to "spontaneously combust" according to Raphael. To put it simply, they are like ghosts, and the closest thing to them in other works would be JoJo's Stands.
These spiritual beings are a species that can survive only through their spiritual bodies, are not bound to a physical body, and have eternal life as long as they do not lose their will to live.
Right now Rimuru is the third strongest being in tempest not counting the occasional Milim and Ramiris.
Raphael's or great Sage's voice is from Voice of the World... Raphael and great sage is something only Rimuru has... Well Raphael did have a previous owner but it wasn't this OP then... And it was Knowledge King Raphael then, not Wisdom King as there can never be the same Ultimate Skill.
The only reason Luminous is dominating Veldora is that Veldora is not really fighting back .... at least in the Anime ... in the novel there was some sparing level fighting going on, with Rimuru using Ultimate Guard to protect the city from collateral damage .... one reason the Crusaders accepted so easily ... the fight was happening at crazy speed and with energy emitted off the scale ... basically Luminous showed off strength worthy of being called a god

I know this is from the Manga bit it does not make sense there, its even worse in the manga ... it does not make sense in the Anime ....
They cant claim they are just following the manga, as the sequence of events comes from the Novel .... ie things like when we switch from Rimurus part to Diablo etc ...
And in the novel Rimuru never lets go of Hinata ... as his focus is on keeping her alive ... even attempting to give her an artificial heart like he did to Mjuran ... but it not working well because of her resistance ...
Its not like you could not use that to give Rimuru the window to leave her for a bit ... show him putting the heart in realiying it will not last long and going to the Geezers to resolve this quickly ....

Raphael is unique to rimuru and doesn't have any relation with voice of the world other than same voice.
It know about things because of the abilities great sage and Raphael has not because it have any connection to voice of the world.

Not gonna lie, Hinata's story is super interesting before everything got her to this point lol. I know they've teased a lot of it before but this was the dagger that sold me into wanting more. The anime greatly simplified Diablo’s killing of the Luminaries. First he brought them into his “Temptation World”, then he used “Despair Time” to make the illusion real and finally he used “End of World” to collapse the “Temptation World” in on itself in order to kill the Luminaries.

Finally, they put Hinata’s backstory pre-dimensional travel in. Now I feel bad for telling people it since I had long given up on them showing it in the anime since I had forgotten that the manga did it at this point. They left a few things out though. Put in chronological order:
Hinata's father was a gambling addict. Eventually, her father racked up a massive debt from gambling on horse races when Hinata was a child, which made Hinata decide to murder him for life insurance. Hinata's mother suffered an emotional breakdown upon witnessing this murder by her daughter's hand and gotten into religion, causing Hinata to plan to kill her as well and thus orphan herself. Just before that could happen, on her first day of high school, she was whisked away by a "strong gale" to the Central World when she was just 15 years old.
Upon arrival, she was attacked by three bandits. She ended up gaining two Unique skills, Usurper and Preserver, and managed to kill the three bandits. Not long after her arrival in the new world, Shizue Izawa took her in as a disciple. Hinata claims that Shizue was the only person who had been kind to her during her early years in the new world. Within a month, Hinata had surpassed Shizue in strength after copying multiple of her skills using Usurper. Fearing her own attachment, Hinata went on her own way and eventually became the most powerful knight in the Holy Empire Lubelius leading both Crusaders and Rook Geniuses, as well as becoming the Leader of the "Ten Great Saints".
At one point she discovered that the Western Holy Church was under the control of vampires and was conspiring with Demon Lord Valentin. She defeated both Roy and Louis, suffering fatal injuries during the process. However, she was then confronted by the real Demon Lord, Luminous Valentine herself, who promptly revived both her fallen subordinates and Hinata herself. After some negotiations, Hinata passed the trial of Seven Luminaries and earned the rights to challenge Luminous, but was promptly defeated. Hinata then agreed to become Luminous' subordinate as she deemed the Demon Lord's governing methods to be acceptable in the long run. Nonetheless she keeps honing her abilities in case she ever needs to fight the Vampire Princess again.

Guys, know that in the world of tensura, The voice of the world can be heard only by the people who gains unique or ultimate skills. If you want a unique skill,you should have a very strong desire to get it or you can level up by fighting/experience. But in Rimuru’s case, Raphael takes care of all of his skills and improve them because Rimuru doesn’t have that strong of a desire to get skills and He even isn’t aware of how OP he is 😅
It doesn't have to be unique or ultimate. All skills common to ultimate are anounce by voice of the world.

FYI : Tensura has one of the most or most broken power system in anime, the magic is actually so much complex and broken, and The Voice thing is one of the part of power system called "Voice Of The World" granted to every being to control and optimized skill and abilities for magic, this voice manifest the desire of the user into skill, that's why tensura characters are so overpower on a conceptual level, reality bending and law manipulation stuff in each skill and this is just the basic, the anime cut so much stuff

This Ep is just sucks, really really suck, i read the Light novel and manga and.. shit i am so disappointed with the anime They invented a fight between Veldora and Ruminas in the middle of the Tempest (this fight? never existed)and the rest of the anime was on SLIDE.. SLIDE
That fight did happen it just didn't "in Tempest" proper you said you read the manga, the death blessing hands looked the same. What I'm sad is they cut stuff like Rimuru trying to make an extra heart for Hinata like he did for Mjurran and failing and just using his own hands to pump her blood or change details like how Glenda should have bolted immediately, or changing the translation of the evolution from peer...

Agree. Really bad adaptation. They skipped the part of Hinata's monologue about Usurper skill in the context of weak monsters and they skipped the explanation of the consequences of Melt Slash if Rimuru did get a direct hit.
