What makes Leo so dangerous is how calm he remains under any circumstance. He can be down 2 stocks and he just plays like he always does, watching his opponent's every move carefully.

MKLeo can't make characters who aren't high tier look op. Look at how much he struggled with Marth to eventually drop him specifically because making him good is too difficult. Lucina, Wolf, and Joker are all top tier characters, Ike is not top tier but still high tier.
I mean you technically can, but due to having a tipper as a sweetspot, Marth is simply not as consistent as the rest of his sword is much weaker compare to Lucina's blade.

She can kill starting at ~45% where Marth starts at ~35% with tipper, those 10 percent don’t really make a difference given there is only one reliable setup for tipper smashes and it is available to Lucina as well, except of course she doesn’t tipper. I am sad Marth is just not a character in this game.

I know I'm super late to reply but... Nair 1 to side b. N1, side b, N1, side b. Basically most multi-hit moves can be cancelled early to only use the first hit. Such as Joker fair, the first kick will launch slightly upwards, instead of straight forward. Same can be done with falcon nair, Marth, Lucina, Roy nair, etc. That's how drag down works, too. Canceling the move before the last hit, reducing/changing the knock back. Like Joker, Shiek or Greninja up air. You fast fall before the last hit.
I think what makes losers MKLEO so dangerous is that he goes in to last stock situation mode for the rest of the tournament. And I feel like when people try to beat him in losers or have an advantage it feeds into his last stock power up
Counters to me are not really skillful sorry. Basicly just put yourself I'm a already started animation move and get the upper hand. Counters should only work on first hit of animation or something...
