Interesting comment about the coasters retaining heat. I think I will re-knit my heating pad cover with cotton. The acrylic one doesn't allow the heat through as well and now I think I know why!
Hiya Sheila luv , it’s so exciting when you receive happy mail , I get excited with u how kind and generous your knitting ladies are , the wool you got and the wool Kate sent are lovely colours can’t wait to see what you knit with it . I’m just about to start to sew up the cardigan that I have finished finally hope I can sew it up neatly , a lot depends how bad my hands shaking as might av to leave it till on a good day , not sure how or where I will get some more wool think will av to use knit well by post as can do that out of a catalog as hopeless with internet , but it’s fine just need to find an easy pattern as the one I just used I couldn’t understand it very well , 😂 I’m missing my son who as just been up from London to fix all the garden fence for me so was with me a few days it’s been great , except I miss him now he’s gone home , ah well will concentrate on getting the cardy finished , happy knitting Jean 💕💕😘
i get a lot of Happy Mail from a lot of nice people Jean Kate is one of them, hope you get some good days to sew up your cardigan, Marriners is a good site for wool and very reasonable prices, you need to play around with the internet to find out how it works it's easier than you think, if i lived near i would help you out, some patterns are very easy and again some are too complicated even i find trouble with them sometimes..

Hello Sandra i have just finished my tea and my cuppa and have picked up the Zings, back to Dagry's top now, i loved knitting the blanket took no time at all with the pokers, and best of all no sewing up, and your right i just wish i had another pair of hands, only problem with my fame spreading more orders far to many, we will both be clacking away now that's what my husband Alan used to say, think he had super hearing cause i couldn't hear the clacking lol..

the King Cole Panama Beaches is a lovely yarn Jenny that was why it was hard to get the particular colour i wanted everybody else must have wanted it lol, it's more than i like to pay too but sometimes you just have to give in and go with the flow lol..

Sheila, I love the blanket pattern. I started one of my own with 8 mm needles and two strands of yarn. I did have to use a smaller number in my cast on, but it is working up so quickly. Thanks again for the inspiration. I love your channel.

Have another try at baby shoes Pricilla they are very easy to do, that is if the pattern works out right, which mine didn't lol, good job i can work things out for myself 🤗

you can do it on 4mm Emma but would need a lot more sts around 140 i had 92 sts for mine for 7mm, i have put the instructions in the description box below the video but for 7mm..

What was the king Cole beaches u used on that finished cardigan because that is absoluty amazing and I want to knit something in that wool.
That was the Beaches and Cream Teresa, the Bubble one i did a while ago was the Panama Beach
