I suggest you to do a guide for the “Don’t Die For your Country” achievement. Is the only one I couldn’t get and all the guides online are from old versions
Focus on Britain to capitulate. Naval invasion or paradrop best both and you have it. Sometimes leadership goes to france but paradrop on Paris and Dunkirk and you should have them also out. Don't waste Manpower on Poland.
Bruh this is one of the easiest achievements to get, you just need to win the war, that's all. Once the Allies have capitulated, it counts has having hit the triggers (you might need to annex them as well).

@@tenientemusaranga5863 from what I understand both Poland and France need to no longer exist, so if Italy or anyone else has puppeted them, or if any bit of land has been missed it won't fire. They may have patched it, I just checked and I unlocked it on 7th July 2022.

That explains a lot from my own game. Do they also need Warsaw to kick off Barbarossa? I find it funny that Taureor uploaded this right as I did my first Sanationist playthrough and followed a very similar strategy (just not with pure infantry.)

@@Scotty30 That's what I thought. I vaguely remember pulling up the German tree to check. I think the issue is that the Soviets declared on me in 39, and the game is only in 1941 now. I guess playing as Poland greatly expands how long 39-41 feels. Slash, I didn't realize/feel just how late Barb begins on historical.
Well since the spreadsheets are back might as well spread the word...Vatican city in Millenium dawn and take over every non christian nation.

In Millenium dawn there is a religion system in which a country has a religion as its dominant one, one of the religions is Christian. So every country that doesn't have the religion Christianity. Some exceptions would be if a country is multi-religious. If Christianity is among those multi-religions, there is no need to invade them as they are still partly Christian.

@@Taureor Well it can be in other mods that have the Vatican. Like that one mod in which you can get the Devil or the Christ in charge that happens during 1936.
One path i've seen which is rather underrated is the democratic monarchy path, which lets you form both Rome and the EU as Italy, and i think that would be an interesting challenge to form both in one playthrough

@@wintyyy_ it's designed to be impossible. Doesn't mean that it really is as it's HoI4 and a mod for it, both things being renowned for being broken, unbalanced and exploitable¯\_(ツ)_/¯
An interesting idea would be to use mods/cheats to "exile" yourself to some other random part of the world and attempt to retake the homeland territories. Imagine it being something like non-communard France in Kaiserreich where you're not located in your homeland and you need to find a way to "return". I know it's possible using state transfer tools but I'm not sure if you'd like to do this as a challenge or if it would actually be interesting since it was just an idea
I think it may be possible by capitualting with a country with large oversea territories. Probably best to do with countries that have LaR content and achievements like free France or the Dutch ?
No. You can still get capitulated like original in game and can do missions like usual.
Just look at Mountain General's Poland video. He uses 1939 scenario, though.
I was thinking more of a a situation where you start exiled from the very beginning, and to do that you basically just use mods to give yourself some land in a random place and give all your original core territories to some other country/s. You can also core your new "exiled" self if you want since if you place yourself random (like Guyana or northern Brazil idk) you won't be too powerful anyways and it will still be a challenge.

If you're fine with using mods then I suggest using the Toolpack mod which allows you to change ownership of states as well as whether or not they're cored by somebody. The mod also allows you to spawn armies, buildings, and navies if you wanted to (it can't delete though). I think this mod would help fill the bare minimum requirement for this scenario but it's up to you if you want to use it.

My challenge would be to unify Africa and do a "reverse uno" on all the nation's that colonized Africa,choose the best Nation in your opinion to do this challenge and achieve that using any means necessary!
And also playing in Road to 56. I think Ethiopia is the strongest, but Egypt is also very good

@@FilipBurovski Road to 56 just makes the game way better. I think everyone should play with this mod on. Also, another great mod is Strategic View Adjustments. It makes the map and front lines way more readable

I feel like Taureor can be a bit frustrating to watch, because he is the best and worst HoI player at the same time. I love how he plays HoI on a Macro level, but the division management can be infuriating imo. But it still works, which is really great

Suggestions wise I’d enjoy an equestria at war challenge of some sort. Maybe something like Hellquil successfully defeating the river coalition on their authoritarian path. (Quite a dark path though)
On a side note, sorry to hear the channels having challenges, massive fan of your work! Particularly enjoy that you cut way less than the majority so it’s easier to follow along a fun concept!

I'm sorry to Kyallo for having to explain it, but Taureor loves to deploy and use massively underequipped infantry armies with literally every nation he plays other than for challenges, and will just keep spam creating these armies before even letting everyone else get equipped. It's a joke challenge making fun of his playstyle.
One achievment i really cannot get is "Hardly anything Severes" for the ottomans. Can you do a guide on that?

Literally the most underlooked polish leader, smigly gives you so much xp and bonuses, double in this particular path as well. Though, it's possible holding both germans and soviets by getting the forts from plan east and west. I recently did that, but it took me until 1942 though. And I went fascist, just to send volunteers to Spain, and get the Hungarians in Miedzymorze

Okay I have a video in mind, half guide half challenge.
As you might know, the falangist path for nationalist spain allows you to get puppets in central america. There is a strategy for japan where using long range subs you can invade the usa early with massed horses to spaghetti your way to victory before the lion wakes.
My suggestion is if we can rush the civil war, which I know can be done within a month, get to the puppet focus and get the usa relatively early, not as fast as japan, doing a naval invasion from the caribbean and then go for an America conquest.

I'd love to see a Greece into Macedonian Empire challenge (Metaxist Greece with extra steps). Really neat way of going about forming it, and I don’t see it done often.
P.S - bonus points if you finish the Metaxism branch of the tree before forming instead of properly timing the Turkey war, for a bit of extra difficulty

in The Great War Redux there's a new path for the UK where if you make Henry Croft as Prime Minister you can be more interventionist and even invade Norway and Denmark
Id really love to see you play nations while making a scenario. Do this by choosing what the nation's focuses will be. I bet you'd come up with some great combos!

I would like to see a game of Poland where you tell us about who certain people are and what they accomplished during their time as shown in the game. I actually enjoy hearing natives of countries talk about the history of their country and how the country thinks of them. Were they good? Did they do good? Were they awful? Did the do things that hurt the country? Things like that. Maybe a historical game of Poland where you do the Warsaw Uprising and then you can explain how things worked? That would be nice in my opinion.
It's nice to hear the names of places and names in Polish. I was way off in my head!

As Saudi Arabia, reunite the former khalifate lands by going to war with UK, France, Italy and Spain and conquering the entire African Mediterranean coast and Arabic peninsula.
You could try to do Yuge-O-Slavia without getting into a World War. Used to be rather easy more or less, to flip fascist almost immediately, go down the balkanization path, kill greece and bulgaria, then kill hungary and romania... but since the world tension rework, I kinda struggle forming Yuge-O-Slavia without getting involved into a big Faction war.

I have a challenge: Reunite all chinese territories and recreate the Qing Dynasty, that also includes Tibet, Mongolia, and tannu tuva. I'm using old borders from/similar to 1644 - 1912.

I would like to see you do a prolonged defensive game, I myself have been attempting to do attrition hell, and drain manpower completely from as many countries as possible. Usually I tend to fail anyway before Germany dies.

I've seen videos from creators with like a 1/10th your subscriber count get high engagement from kaiserreich redux videos but some of these are from a long time ago so not sure if this is a useful suggestion...
It's difficult, I've considered uploading PDX gameplay videos myself (I stream on Twitch) but I think it is so saturated it is difficult to say.
I sincerely hope things with the channel improves because you're a very enjoyable creator and I hope you're able to get out of this rut and keep creating!
@Taureor AI is hardcoded not to attack any province with a fort above level 4 if it has any units in it, that is what causes them not to attack. So whenever you build forts, go up to level 4 if you want to inflict maximum casualties.

Empire of Europe challenge : with France get cores on all of mainland western EU except the damn little red dot named switzeland ( while democratic form the EU then take the monarchist bourbon to help carlist win AND annex portugal, then annex them). I think hatless spider did some content that may help you with the AI RNG !

My newest stray is sniping Austria by any means necessary. Once you snipe Austria Germany is lost. I've even had games where a Germany joins the Allies.

this is my favorite run to play, usually giving away danzig I'm able to beat the soviet union in a land war, or at least hold the line well, without any forts or defensive bonuses (I can push them about to Moscow before my losses get too large and I need to stop pushing)
and this is without having any cores or collaboration governments, less than 3 full armies of well trained, well supplied troops is enough

The last time I tried sanation path, I ended up as historical Poland.
I really want to see more of the Equestria mod. I have zero familiarity with the Pony stuff at all so I was really surprised at the depth and complexity of the mod

Transamur BASE-Kaiserreich Conquers Russia AND Reichspakt. (You will need to have it so they give you the land you demand or you'll have no chance)
Idea for a challange: Form the little Entente as France with the UK, Poland, Czechslovakia, Yugoslavia and Romania at the beginning of the game using focus.autocomplete. After that as Germany try and defeat them without demanding the Sudetenland(go for Danzig or war). I tried it myself and it is actually not as hard as it seems, so you can also buff some nations or stop Italy from joining the Axis for and extra challenge
