Overall the 920C performs like a champ on the MW band during the evening hours. Much to explore. The use of the Tecsun AN-200 passive loop helps this radio bring in those low power and distant stations.
The selectivity of this radio on the MW band is very impressive. A small, compact receiver that is priced right. The DR-920C is identical in reception to the R-9012. If your in the market for a smooth analog tuner with a digital counter display, give this one a go. You will definitely enjoy this one.

Tip: lift up the external antenna even on AM for better reception (no need to extend it), as it interferes somewhat with the internal AM antenna.

Todderbert, when you do MW bandscans I always wonder what is the compass direction of the radio on your test table. What is the direction that is 90degrees counter clockwise of your radio when it is perfectly framed on the screen?
The top of the screen is due West, the screen's left is South.
