How do you find the AX-53 as a camcorder? I've been hanging around waiting for a modern consumer camcorder to appear with a proper old fashioned viewfinder (I hate LCD screens as they are useless in bright sunlight or if you wear glasses - like me). Another question - can you adjust shutter speeds. Most small camcorders are limited in this area which means rotating propellers look silly. My old 1989 Sanyo VMDP-6 had both a proper viewfinder and adjustable shutter speeds - how I miss it. Your video looks pretty good to me.
Hi! I just got my ax53 today a couple years ago and I’m still learning it, but I hope I can answer your question. The AX53 has the option of using either the screen or the viewfinder. the viewfinder is electronic and it’s like there’s a small screen inside of the eyehole. The AX53 does allow for you to change the shutter speed I’m pretty sure.
great filming stabilization in ultra hd is quite smooth i was thinking of getting the FDR ax700 for filming aircraft but use a good manfrotto video head with tripod to make it smoother footage
Brilliant video, made my eyes water.
