And of course, Geeta Dutt Ji's divine voice. She's not just singing the song, but feeling every word. Speechless. But two things perplex me. One, the actors seem pretty upbeat in spite of the song's sad, if romantic theme. Secondly, the laughter at the end seems to be an afterthought. Almost as if it was recorded/added later on, because it doesn't gel with the song's lament. Seems as if Gulzar sahab wrote this song for Geeta ji instead of for the film!
What a magnificient song. With such minimal orchestration, its only Geeta Dutt's voice that carries it to a totalky different level. Superb lyrics and music too.
What a voice ! very unique, without any loud instrumental music, only soft tune ,her voice carried the whole song beautifully..hats off to composer and lyricist too!
Geeta Dutt...!! Her voice!! Most oldies say that it was the last set of songs she ever recorded cause shock of loosing a giant like Guru Dutt and that too with their inter personal relations...!! In those days, all giants of those era were in awe of Dutt duo - Guru Dutt & Geeta Dutt! Impeccable artists have their own issues, tees.....a weird sense of this very so-called world. Lots of respect and love to Geeta Dutt ji, she must be regaling god. Sanjeev Kumar on screen---what a superb actor!!
Came here wound tight as a spring. Every word sung by that melodious velvet voice gradually drew such happy tears, it slowly unwound me and soothed me into calm tranquility. Such is the insanely powerful magic of this song.. Spellbound.
The best part of this song is its simplicity..with just a piano playing in the background, Geeta Dutt delivered this so effortlessly! Also, such beautiful cinematography♥️ The rainy night adds to the essence of the song✨💕
I think it sounds more like the xylaphone than a piano for background music. It matches with the falling drops of rain outside so well. Apart from Waqt ne kiya this is another of my all time favorite though i do sing Lata's songs the most, i love different voice cultures like Noor Jahan, Geeta Dutt, Mubarak Begum, Asha Tai, Dilraj Kaur, Salma Agha, Richa Sharma and their best songs.
This song is so beautifully soft I play it in my baby's nursery. Gorgeous gorgeous voice..and just as gorgeous Sanjiv Kumar. Each frame of the video is like a black and white painting. Pure gem.
This incredible song is truly unique. There is only a background instrumental help (possibly Jaltarang or something akin to it). No tablas, non other any of dozens of musical instruments. The creators of this fantastic exceptional melody are no less than geniuses. One cannot describe in words the talents and voice of one and only Geeta Roy. She remains the pride of Bengal and India. The picturization by Tanuja is truly awesome. This proves that such top class romantic songs can be made, without reverting to the present day vulgarism.
Please give a shout out to Kanu Roy the music director. You are right, using just a few instruments, he has brought forth such beautiful songs - ALL the songs in this movie are lovely - Manna Dey's Phir Kahi being my favorite Hindi movie song - all thanks to this great music director
@@ramaraksha01 Apparently, read somewhere that Kanu Roy was paid Rs 1000 for 4 songs in this film and hence he had to manage with minimal instruments. But what an amazing result that constraint created!
@@kishanmican That might be true but when we hear his songs in other movies, they are also the same there also, right? Very few instruments, but you are right, just wonderful how he uses them
Geeta Dutt's voice had a natural sweetness. Her voice seems simpler and you feel more connected to her, I do anyways. I agree with Tom Sawyer, Lata may be better technically, but Geeta Dutt's voice makes you feel you are listening to a real person than someone who so extremely gifted that her voice becomes out of a common person's reach. I LOVE this song. Thanks for posting.
You are right. Lata's voice sounds rather like an instrument. Geeta's voice has more "life" in it. Unlike the 'jaan' in this song, this voice still lives in and through the song. How wonderful!
According to the tonal quality of Geeta Duttji, I am so pleased to note that she sung each & every song which cannot be compared with other female voices. The way of expressing situations gave her immortal place in the mind of true song lovers. Her song also matches with her tragic life subconsciously.
When I was 5 years old I would never go to sleep without hearing this song .I am 16 now ,I totally forgot about this song and this is when I came by this materpiece .
I was 10 when my mother used to play this song on a tape recorder in a casette of Geeta Dutts hits . She inculcated good values along with such melodies in my heart and I am in love with such songs because of her. I thank her for it. At present she is 60 and I am 30 Years still listening to it. It takes me to those beautiful moments. I really miss them
film anubhav-1971-this was the last year of geeta dutt.she was ill with liver disorder.yet she gave such amazing song that is adored even today.this is perhaps the only superhit song of bollywood with bare minimum orchestration.great work of kanu roy.
@Sudipto- before adding, please check whether really "Insaan Aur Insaan" was the last film! I think she sang in a film named "Midnight" also (not released in India), under the music direction of Subir Sen.
Geeta's soulful voice and Buji's vibes.. .. together they have created this masterpiece. Lovely cinematography is the icing on the cake. Tooooo gooood....
This song is the last album of Geeta Dutt Ji. She recorded it in 1971 and 1 yr later (1972) she died. Some idiots fondly write that Geeta's voice got affected because of consumption of alcohol. Some write Geeta's tongue got thick and she was unable to sing after Guru Dutt's death. Yes, she used to consume alcohol but it was never for fun. She used to consume it to forget the tragedy happened to her. But, it never affected her voice. Some idiot music directors rejected her just because they didn't want her to make a comeback after her husband's death. In fact, those idiots did politics and didn't allow her to sing even her husband Guru Dutt's film which released after Guru's death. Shame on these people.
Even though i have space issues in my phone, I ensure that this song doesnt get deleted from my saved items, whatsoever. This and the one from 'manzil' Rim zhim gire saawan, these two have always been there in my saved items, no matter what !
Music director Kanu Roy is brother of great Geeta Dutt. In this song only one voice with one musical instrument used i.e vibraphone by Burjor Lord.Rare of rare.
One of the best compositions of yester-years ! Everything is just perfect. The voice, faintest music, the words, the scene, the actress Tanuja and the marvelously special Sanjeev Kumar. The way he looks at her....surreal..... No words can express those emotions !!
Exactly , I was in same situation. I didn't know Geeta Dutt, when I first listened her. I was then nine, but she captured me completely & I fall in hevenly love with her.
Geeta Dutt's immortal voice and immortal actor Sanjeev Kumar. What a movie what a song. Feeling nostalgic. Sadly she died heartbroken even before the movie got released.
The singing style, the improvisation in voice, oh my God Geeta ji you're just extraordinary 😍😍😍 the vibe this song is giving is unable to explain. To create a vibe and change the environment and mood by singing is not everyone's cup of tea, Hemant Kumarji did this once in the song "Ya dil ki suno" and after that it's only Geeta Duttji
So soothing to ears....what a melody..!!! Those were the times where simplicity was appreciated and recognised. Today movies have extravagant sets, costumes, makeup, VFX techniques, blah..blah......but they can never match the grace n beauty created years ago. Can someone dislike this song..? Kaha se aate Hain ye log..???
The lyrics, the voice, the music, the video, the picturization, the actors, and the Era, everything is just perfect. It can't be more beautiful than this.
Geeta dutt has always been my favourite and she'll be forever. Her voice is not something that can be forgotten. I have immense love and respect for her, which will never change.❤️
Pl.note that It is sweetness of tune and Geeta's voice only carry the tune.Very little support from accompanting instruments.Listen to this song when you are alone and in apeaceful mood. This is a mood enhancer. Thanks for posting
It is said songs, books, friends, films, sports, art that you experience as a child, shape you, stay with you till end. We’re lucky to hv grown up on such lovely songs.
Salute to all the lovers of Geeta Dutt. Please listen to yet another gem - Mere hamnasheen mere hamnawan - from the film Bhool Na Jana. This is among the last few songs she did. Sung so well with pathos, sorrow and deep sense of loneliness. Music by Daan Singh. Unforgettable voice, touching lyrics and soulful music, sure to moist you eyes. Must listen.
❤❤❤what could i say....i now found this gem as i watched this movie 4 times in the last 2 days... I was binge watching Sanjeev ji's movie but hell i found a superb actress as well... If only Sanjeev ji maintained his physique as in this he would have been more popular (which he is for his acting but could be more for his looks) i can't forget that look ,that smile while he was standing at the door seeing his wife with that smirk😅❤❤uff ....and tanuja g ...have i ever seen that boldness and authority simultaneously...nope and i would never . Always a fan of GEETA mam but this song sparked something that even I don't know.... To listen to it with my better half is a new dream for me.... Would i ever meet a person with whom i can experience this stuff ...with whom i can watch this masterpiece without being judged.....😂😂😂 Drop a like so i can revisit this lovely song ❤❤
What a song! I am speechless. How come I am discovering such a talented musician named Kanu Roy just today. My heartfelt gratitude to him. Geeta Dutt is Geeta Dutt, words can't describe her brilliance.
A magical and mistifying voice!! A rare gift to Indian music was the voice of Geeta Dutt. Kanu Roy must have been thrilled to listen to his own composition! Enhanced by the wonderful performance of Sanjeev kumar and Tanujaji. Thank you, Shemaroo! Pradip Trivedi.
the music is superlative in spite of being very light: does not interfere with the emotions but reinforces it. One of the very few songs of this genre that grip you and wont let go. it'll make you hum it again and again: actually make you shut up, close your eyes and just immerse yourselves in it.... Geeta Dutt brings out the anguish and frustration of Tanuja, and the lyrics of Gulzar are just right and potent!!
Listening to the song brings back early memories of our maariage when both of were young and getting adjusted to each other, it was an arranged marriage, there was desire, anxiety and happiness.. Alas, my wife is no more but the song just brings back those memories..
Sweetest and heart touching voice I ever heart. When Geetaji says Mujhe Jaan Na Kaho, Meri Jaan, its so unique and no other singer can replicate it. I donot know how many times I have heard this song. The voice produces here love, sadness, closeness she share with her husband. Extradinary Talent. I'm from South India and new to this song. Just heard last week from sromona chakraborthy's voice. Touched by the melody thought of listening to the original and got it from U tube. Marvelous. Such a voice yet to be born again.
Can you imagine a singer (unfortunately on the last leg of her career and life) giving such a splendid performance! A performance full of expressions!! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
I am 25 year old singer!in my 16 17 years of listening to music,I can safely vouch that this is the most perfect creation i have seen and heard!the direction, cinematograohy, acting, singing, lyrics and music are uncomparable!i listen to only old songs!boy oh boy this one is really a wonder!Geetaji you passed away too soon!
An ocean between us and continents away but this song connects my heart to me. Geeta Dutt's emotive and poignant voice is for the ages. And Tanuja...burns...burns...burns
All the songs are scored & composed by Kanu Roy with barest minimum orchestration keeping in view of the theme & temperament of the whole movie . They are so sweet even today 2016.
I posted a comment two years ago! I keep listening to this lovely, classic song! Lovely lyrics by Gulzar with wonderful music and excellent way it had been acted out by veteran actors! Sad, no one makes filims like this any more!
I am a diehard fan of Gita Dutt from the song ",keshava,Jai Jagadeesh hare"duet with Hemanta kumar- film Anand mutt days. Her hit songs with music by S.D Burman,O.P.Nayyar,Hemant kumar were unforgettable. Whenever I hear this song,my eyes get flooded.A Kanu Roy special.Gita dutt still livez in our heart.
One of the finest in the history of playback singing from one of the finest two playback singers of India. It's pity that India didn't have the pleasure to listen to this scintillating silky- ness of this hapless singer for long.
Before listing this sing i had no idea that JAAN could have so many meaning and that too in one line. It seems Geeta Dutt chose best obituay for herself.
geeta's last song.. ultimate but untimely end of mesmerizing voice. Amazing cinematography .. so sensuous chemistry between Tanuja n sanjeev kumar.. geeta's voice lift it to incomparable level
It is pouring in Mumbai, and I am in Dubai. I miss listening to this song sitting in balcony at around 3am and gazing water hitting street light and enjoying the moment. Idk when will I relive it
Geeta Dutt ji a genius singer with extremely melodious voice and different texture from his contemporaries her voice can easily be identified apart from other lady singers whose voice seem to be same I can't believe the same singer has sung babhuji dheere chalna, Mera naam chin chin Chu , tadbeer se bigdi Hui taqdeer banale,ae Dil mujhe batade , jaane kahan Mera jigar gaya ji , ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya etc. She was very versatile and unique Be it romantic or Bhajan , item no. Or sad song she hits different in every song She could not be compared with lata ji or Asha Bhosle because Geeta Dutt ji is very different and unique at his own.
What a beautiful song without any instruments..just the golden voice of Geeta Dutt ji...she didn't get her due... unfortunate...but she sang masterpieces that we still listen to after 5 decades....that's priceless

This song should have continued for more 3-4 minutes. So soothing :)
I agree
Agree. Hence often hear it on a loop.
Absolutely 👍
Dude I'm listening now in 2024
If one closes one’s eyes and listen to this song, one is haunted by the haunting voice, its depth and the feelings that is evoked. Salute.
What a magnificient song. With such minimal orchestration, its only Geeta Dutt's voice that carries it to a totalky different level. Superb lyrics and music too.
What a voice ! very unique, without any loud instrumental music, only soft tune ,her voice carried the whole song beautifully..hats off to composer and lyricist too!
totally agreed....so emotional song
sohel m
who was the lyricist of this song------------was Gulzar?
indeed
very nice
Geeta Dutt...!! Her voice!! Most oldies say that it was the last set of songs she ever recorded cause shock of loosing a giant like Guru Dutt and that too with their inter personal relations...!! In those days, all giants of those era were in awe of Dutt duo - Guru Dutt & Geeta Dutt! Impeccable artists have their own issues, tees.....a weird sense of this very so-called world. Lots of respect and love to Geeta Dutt ji, she must be regaling god. Sanjeev Kumar on screen---what a superb actor!!
What a soothing voice God!! How can somebody has such a beautiful Voice !!
The real Nightingale of India !! Geeta Dutt
Right, she is Nightingale
Who is here listening to this masterpiece in 2024.
Such a class ❤❤
Me
Me too
Me
Wow !! What a lovely and voice of rare quality 👌👌. Our sincere respect to this music queen 💐
What classical expressions by Sanjeev Kumar RIP but otherwise eternal 🙏
Came here wound tight as a spring. Every word sung by that melodious velvet voice gradually drew such happy tears, it slowly unwound me and soothed me into calm tranquility. Such is the insanely powerful magic of this song..
Spellbound.
May God Bless You my dear... Take care
The best part of this song is its simplicity..with just a piano playing in the background, Geeta Dutt delivered this so effortlessly! Also, such beautiful cinematography♥️
The rainy night adds to the essence of the song✨💕
I think it sounds more like the xylaphone than a piano for background music. It matches with the falling drops of rain outside so well. Apart from Waqt ne kiya this is another of my all time favorite though i do sing Lata's songs the most, i love different voice cultures like Noor Jahan, Geeta Dutt, Mubarak Begum, Asha Tai, Dilraj Kaur, Salma Agha, Richa Sharma and their best songs.
Sanjeev Kumar is all time soo Handsome...just a smile...and you fall for tht gentle Grt face...
Absolutely
Sooo true.... ❤
This song is so beautifully soft I play it in my baby's nursery. Gorgeous gorgeous voice..and just as gorgeous Sanjiv Kumar. Each frame of the video is like a black and white painting. Pure gem.
Right now I'm doing the same. My two month old is in my lap and I'm playing this song 😊😊
Very few instruments, but you are right, just wonderful how he uses them
The only instrument which was used in this song was vibraphone played by renowned percussionist burjar lord alias bajji lord
Amazing song! Wonder how it would have been with tabla playing softly for rhythm! Hmm....
The depth and modulation in Geeta Dutt's voice is par excellence. Neither Asha Bhosle nor Lata Mangeshkar would be able to sing like her.
They were no less.
All were unique
Geeta Dutt's voice had a natural sweetness. Her voice seems simpler and you feel more connected to her, I do anyways. I agree with Tom Sawyer, Lata may be better technically, but Geeta Dutt's voice makes you feel you are listening to a real person than someone who so extremely gifted that her voice becomes out of a common person's reach. I LOVE this song. Thanks for posting.
Kahan aisa singer aaj kal ki zamaane mein yaar...😢
I agree with you sir
You are right. Lata's voice sounds rather like an instrument. Geeta's voice has more "life" in it. Unlike the 'jaan' in this song, this voice still lives in and through the song. How wonderful!
couldn't have said it better.
Lataji bol be
According to the tonal quality of Geeta Duttji, I am so pleased to note that she sung each & every song which cannot be compared with other female voices. The way of expressing
situations gave her immortal place in the mind of true song lovers. Her song also matches with her tragic life subconsciously.
With al most no music, Geeta scores a century!
Just love this track.
What a soothing voice.. Doesn't need any music and can stand alone.. Geeta g yr the greatest singer and will always be.. Touch deep down once soul..
One of her last recordings. Want to put my arms around your creation and guard from all darkness, negativity and cynicism, our sweet Princess Geeta.
DRENCH
My favourite ❤️
You put it so gently and beautifully 🤩
When I was 5 years old I would never go to sleep without hearing this song .I am 16 now ,I totally forgot about this song and this is when I came by this materpiece .
Guys the song of course is fabulous but don't miss the simplicity in the look and feel - Tanuuja and Sanjeev Kumar - innocent yet sensual.
No Sudipto, not correct. Her last film came in 1972. The film was "Insaan Aur Insaan".
thanks a lot.checking it and adding it to geeta dutt playlist.
@Sudipto- before adding, please check whether really "Insaan Aur Insaan" was the last film! I think she sang in a film named "Midnight" also (not released in India), under the music direction of Subir Sen.
Beautiful song sung so well by Geeta Duttji..lovely composition
Geeta's soulful voice and Buji's vibes.. .. together they have created this masterpiece. Lovely cinematography is the icing on the cake. Tooooo gooood....
This song sounds even more haunting knowing that this was the last song sung by the legendary Geeta Dutt who had such a tragic life.
Very sad! She certainly deserved better! If only she hadn't married Guru Dutt!
Sister duo did dirty tricks to keep her away from playback singing
@@pankajdubey5823 You are right !
Very sorry to know 😔 she deserved much more , so much talent
@@pankajdubey5823 agree.. Sister duo played dirty politics with Md rafi too
yeah i heard they had alcoholism due to their hubands death
Even though i have space issues in my phone, I ensure that this song doesnt get deleted from my saved items, whatsoever. This and the one from 'manzil' Rim zhim gire saawan, these two have always been there in my saved items, no matter what !
Music director Kanu Roy is brother of great Geeta Dutt. In this song only one voice with one musical instrument used i.e vibraphone by Burjor Lord.Rare of rare.
No kanu Roy was not her brother
One of the best compositions of yester-years !
Everything is just perfect.
The voice, faintest music, the words, the scene, the actress Tanuja and the marvelously special Sanjeev Kumar.
The way he looks at her....surreal.....
No words can express those emotions !!
Wahh kya awaj hai logon ko lata ji pasand hoti hai but mujhe bachpan se geeta dutt ke gaane pasand hain jb mai geeta dutt ka naam tk nhi janta tha ...
Exactly , I was in same situation. I didn't know Geeta Dutt, when I first listened her. I was then nine, but she captured me completely & I fall in hevenly love with her.
My love for Gulzar knows absolutely no
boundaries !!! This song and many others prove his supremacy in his vocabulary 🥰🥰🥰🥰
kya vocabulary is something different than what has Gulzar shown in this song. Stop saying random words
@@shubhendranathsingh9888hahahahaha take it easy. Yeah it's the word play not the vocabulary
Jaa n Kaho Anjaan muze Jaan Kaha rehti hai sada...
What the lines are❤️❤️❤️❤️👏
Salute to the lyricist ❤️❤️
@@4urajnish exactly...
How can people even dislike this song? This song is a pure gem 🥺❤
Early destined exit of Geeta Dutta ji so sad Else Real Rare Gem of Saptasur Gayaki
Pl.note that It is sweetness of tune and Geeta's voice only carry the tune.Very little support from accompanting instruments.Listen to this song when you are alone and in apeaceful mood. This is a mood enhancer. Thanks for posting
Amazing sonG Old is Gold
Ramananda Kumar Janamanchi Thanks sir
So true.Music these days is so noisy. One has to make efforts to catch on the singers voice
There is such an earthy touch to Geeta ji's voice and even her hindi accent. I feel you transcend to a different world altogether... Truly magical.
Absolutely. Definitely a treat to ears
So natural so pure heart to heart conversation between two lovers...fabulous act..and the song is a masterpiece of Geeta Dutt !!
Can’t thank you enough for your invaluable suggestion/ reminder. Best wishes
Pathos??
Wow you are very passionate music lover
I am 17 years old student and Still loves Geeta Dutt JI 🎵🎶🎵

Would i ever meet a person with whom i can experience this stuff ...with whom i can watch this masterpiece without being judged.....😂😂😂
Drop a like so i can revisit this lovely song ❤❤
Down the ages, there have been scores of actors in the hindi film industry, and there has been one Sanjeev Kumar.
Agree.
Basu Bhattacharya not Chatterjee, when you don't know about the actual director how we can rely on the story behind !
Basu bhattachary
Listening to the song brings back early memories of our maariage when both of were young and getting adjusted to each other, it was an arranged marriage, there was desire, anxiety and happiness.. Alas, my wife is no more but the song just brings back those memories..
Sorry for your loss
Memories ❤... Sorry for your loss... 😔
Don’t know why it took me decades to find this song? I am moved to tears…such a beautiful composition
Can you imagine a singer (unfortunately on the last leg of her career and life) giving such a splendid performance! A performance full of expressions!! ❤️❤️🙏🙏
True she died the very next year after the film released cant imagine how a person with such health condition can give such a splendid performance
This is one of the masterpiece of Gulzar and Basu battacharya.very people know it that Basu always choose real location and designed set
And Tanuja...burns...burns...burns
one no longer finds such amazing melody in today's songs. long live old songs!
The way they smile at each other !! Wowwwww kya romance hai yaar 👌👌👌👌👌

Such a beautiful simple yet phylosophical hasel free composition. Geets Dutt...simply awesome.
All the songs are scored & composed by Kanu Roy with barest minimum orchestration keeping in view of the theme & temperament of the whole movie . They are so sweet even today 2016.
Yes
Kanu Roy music director was real brother of Geeta Dutt. He was also actor.
Geeta Dutt, Kanu Roy, Gulzar, Nando Bhattacharya, Basu Bhattacharya and perhaps many others will be remembered forever for this one song! A gem :)

WOW WHAT AN SENSOUS VOICE THIS WAS PROBABLY THE LAST SONG BY THE HUGELY TALENTED BEAUTIFUL GEETA DUTT WHO TRAGICALLY DIED YOUNG THKS FOR THIS GEM
I posted a comment two years ago! I keep listening to this lovely, classic song! Lovely lyrics by Gulzar with wonderful music and excellent way it had been acted out by veteran actors! Sad, no one makes filims like this any more!
I find only one word 'mesmerising 'for Geetaji Tanuja Gulzarsab & no doubt Kanu Roy------hats off
Lataji herself said in an interview , Gitadidi was leading the pack , sudden exit helped her and Ashaji
Geeta Dutt ji was very unfortunate & unlucky...
What a mesmerizing voice and equally lovely composition...soul soothing.
Geeta dutt and kaanu Roy created a soothing dream
I am a diehard fan of Gita Dutt from the song ",keshava,Jai Jagadeesh hare"duet with Hemanta kumar- film Anand mutt days. Her hit songs with music by S.D Burman,O.P.Nayyar,Hemant kumar were unforgettable.
Whenever I hear this song,my eyes get flooded.A Kanu Roy special.Gita dutt still livez in our heart.
This song is a master piece. Not much musical instruments used in this song so sweetness of Late Geeta Dutt's voice emerged perfectly.
The whole ensemble is out of the world. The voice, the pair, romance, raindrops, lyrics. This song will never fade away.
Ummh...🥳spicy without revealing anything 👍👍... Watta cinematography.. watta direction...Hats off 🙌🙌
Unique mastery of music...Geeta ji's soft tune...the use of minimum instruments...the output of maximum feeling...very sweet...
My dear kanu roy... how should i compliment yoy for a divine music... what a great composition !! And sanjeev tanuja did justice to their role👍👍👍
We are so blessed to have such artistes, who must have warmed the cockles of a million hearts!!
I bow in reverence
geeta's last song.. ultimate but untimely end of mesmerizing voice.
Idk when will I relive it
Geeta Dutt ji a genius singer with extremely melodious voice and different texture from his contemporaries her voice can easily be identified apart from other lady singers whose voice seem to be same
I can't believe the same singer has sung babhuji dheere chalna, Mera naam chin chin Chu , tadbeer se bigdi Hui taqdeer banale,ae Dil mujhe batade , jaane kahan Mera jigar gaya ji , ankhon hi ankhon mein ishara ho gaya etc. She was very versatile and unique
Be it romantic or Bhajan , item no. Or sad song she hits different in every song
She could not be compared with lata ji or Asha Bhosle because Geeta Dutt ji is very different and unique at his own.
Bollywood failed Geeta Dutt by not giving her an award 😔
What a beautiful song without any instruments..just the golden voice of Geeta Dutt ji...she didn't get her due... unfortunate...but she sang masterpieces that we still listen to after 5 decades....that's priceless
This song evokes lots of emotion in one ! Extraordinary song n singing 🙏
