Bruce, interesting video. I had not heard of this processor before. Looks to be good value at around $30 and I like the drum feature on it. I have a mini vox plug in amp with very limited effects so this unit has much more. It sounded really good to my ears. Maybe put on my Christmas list.....

can it do marshall tones?
Nope. No specific Amp Sims. Just Cabinet Simulation.
Would love to see you demo making a custom preset, with multiple effects overlaid. Only things that seem to be missing are a true bypass, midrange or multi-band boost, noise gate and ability to upload other's IR Cabs into memory in the device...unless you simply neglected to mention these features. Potentially, when off, it automatically provides a bypass???
With those things in place, no pedals would be needed at all other than, possibly a "looper", since the output could go to a MIDI DAW, if desired, rather than an amp, if desired. For that matter, even a single of dual channel looper could be built in!
One other thing not present, but built in to the Ammoon/Lekato plug-in effects/preamp is the built in ability to record short clips, for later transfer to a phone or computer.
Would love to see this as an accessory with a pickguard top (rather than a full case), as well as 5V USB charging capability, that can be built right into a guitar! The cavity size required would be smaller than that of standard Strat controls.
That was great, but I was mainly interested in the store feature and you haven't touched it :(

What guitar /amp/pickups did you use on the demo.?.. Did you record via a DAW or something else? Sound like you were playing humbuckers. Did youb do any pickup switching?(ie neck/mid/bridge).? Bests demo I've ran across yet on the pock rock
What's the echo effect like ? I like to play a bit of Shadows and looking for a good wee cheap echo box

Yes you can dial up a sound and save it as a preset.
No e.q. section? I'll stick to the pocket pod. At least the line 6 has an e.q. and multiple cabinets to choose from
Are the CR (crunch) and DS (distortion) labels on the DRIVE button mixed up? 3:58 doesn't sound like distortion at all, and 4:26 is more than just crunch. I think these two are mislabeled...

Hey dude, thanks for this! Quick question, can you explain how one would record to PC off of this? Do you need anything more than a 6.5mm to 3.5mm cable running from the OUTPUT jack into your PC? I just wanna record the guitar while playing along to some music.
Excellent Bruce! More cleans with effects maybe next time. How well built do you judge it? Would it hold up to normal house use? I have several amps from the 50's when I began playing. This has more to offer than my current pods....The cost is certainly attractive. Thank You!
Thank You so much! It’s a pretty sturdy unit that holds up to normal house/car use. I use it for headphone practice and sometimes plug it in to my car stereo. The price is great considering all of the features. Once again, thanks for watching and let me know if you get one!
I have 5 amps, but I use this little processor all the time in the evenings with my headphones so much don't disturb everybody. Lots of fun!

Yes you can. You can plug it into stereo speakers with Cab Sim on, as wee as an amp wiith Cab Sim off.
