How to Play 2 Player COOP in COD Modern Warfare 3 (Split Screen)

To play split-screen in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, follow these steps:
Load up the game and head into the multiplayer mode from the main menu.
Connect a second controller to your console.
Press the prompted button to sign in with the second controller.
Once signed in, press the prompted button to join the game.
Select the game mode you want to play and start playing.
Please note that split-screen multiplayer is only supported in certain game modes. Here’s a list of supported game modes:
3rd Person Moshpit
Search And Destroy
Headquarters
Kill Confirmed
Hardpoint
Prisoner Rescue
Domination
Team Deathmatch
Knock Out
Unfortunately, split-screen multiplayer is not supported in other game modes like Free-For-All, Ground War, and Invasion 1. If you try to join one of these game modes while on split-screen, the game will warn you that player two must disconnect.

Load into COD in offline mode// no wifi, press play offline in cod menu, create local game, add a controller/ create game, No need for playstation plus to play splitscreen by doing it this way, tried with multiple cods and bo games, works no problem.

So what setttings do I use for it to not lag out on splitscreen my WiFi is perfectly fine but when me and my buddy play splitscreen online it starts lagging bad I think it has something to do with the graphics but I’m not sure. Can anyone help me?
