Ranbir acting 100% and but story wise I felt there was many instances where we feltb no connection in story and bobby deol was on point 100% and was great and i will be waiting for more movies of his in the future, overall movie is 7/10 for me and I didn't feel time passing but the movie dialogues are stretched. a lot and wsated time the movie should have been 3 hours at max

End Gesture was not for critics. Secondly, I too first felt that second part was boring but when I saw, Animal Movie details videos. Then it felt interesting and some scenes were important for the movie. Like for example, Many people are saying, Tripti Dimri scene was not needed but it had a significance. At last, in post credit, When Aziz comes, he asks Zoya that weather his private part looked same or not. So, that's why that scene was needed.
The other girl you mentioned in the movie is Tripti dimri. Unlike Ranbir Kapoor who is a product of nepotism tripti fought her way into the cinema field with her incredible performance in bulbul and qala . Shes not just a beautiful face mister
But she is useless in this movie, just a face only. But the movie is good decision for her, people finally noticed her. She was more beautiful in her previous movies though.
The movie is not glorifying alpha males. The movie is called Animal . Not angel. The main character has flaws, because of childhood neglet and an absent father. Which is the reason why he has personalty issues and a massive ego. Maybe dont watch movies hoping the lead character will become your role model in life. Ranvijay is not a hero , he is just the lead.

I liked the movie, but I also felt that the scene with Tripti was unnecessary. Lord Bobby needed more development. Felt like Sandeep prioritised on ruffling political correctness rather than focusing on the story development. IT WAS NOT BORING THOUGH, as the character development ( or rather the animalistic psychotic character development) was entertaining, in fact a dark comedy about psychos, toxic masculinity and political & emotional correctness. Talking about second part intimate scenes. From Tripti point of view, they wanted to replicate Vijay by creating another body of Vijay, so the new surgery was done using her reference to all parts of his body which will eventually lead to Animal park.

I mean everyone wants a change and the collection of animal, an adult rated movie with probably less screens and less budget earned more than 800crores at the box office and became the highest grossing adults only ratrd film in India. I am a teenager myself and was pretty sad that I have to wait till it releases on ltt to watch it but thanks for the info.

Whenever there was a discussion among my family, relatives and friends as to who is the best actor among gen next in Hindi cinema, my answer has always been Ranbir Kapoor. In his 16 year career, after some amazing performances right from his first movie Saawariya, Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Tamasha, Barfi, Rockstar, Rocket Singh Salesman of the year, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Sanju among others, now Animal is like the icing on the cake for Ranbir...what a mind blowing performance as well as all the qualities required for a Superstar, the looks & style which he always had, the swag, charisma, screen presence and finally he has made a mark in the action genre which was perhaps the only genre he didn't get a chance to shine in till Animal happened. He is now a bona-fide Superstar without doubt and has moved ahead of his contemporaries by leaps and bounds. Bobby Deol made a fantastic comeback with a spectacular performance in a role which could have been longer no doubt but the impact is no less. Anil Kapoor Sir is first rate as always. Rashmika Mandanna looks really cute & has also done a superb job. Tripti Dimri looks gorgeous and has acted really well too. Lovely watching veterans Prem Chopra Sir, Suresh Oberoi Sir and Shakti Kapoor Sir..all have done their respective roles well. Finally, for the man himself, Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, my personal opinion is that he was not at all influenced by our usual type of Indian masala entertainers but those who have watched films of Legendary Hollywood Directors Martin Scorsese and Brian De Palma will see their influences more on SRV's direction. I am not saying he is on par with them but his screenplay, direction, the language, violence, the very open sexual references and scenes have all got it's origins probably because he has been their fan and made a masterpiece gangster noir movie which belongs to the category of cinema which Scorsese and De Palma have made. Again I am just saying the influence is visible and not saying SRV is on that level. I was mighty impressed by that and can't wait for the second part. I agree the second half is not everyone's cup of tea but had it been just fights and bullets I think it would have ended up like another KGF or any other masala film. My personal opinion of course. Blockbuster without doubt!!!😃👌👍👏🔥

I don't understand why it seems that it is incumbent upon Indian cinema to preach. The last time I checked, cinema, regardless of its ethnicity, is meant to entertain and for its art to be appreciated. And Animal does just that. It's true that if you're expecting a run-of-the-mill Bollywood movie where the "hero" is larger than life, and the "heroine" must sound and look like a "Bollywood heroine", and the "villains" are born villain, then yea, this movie is not for you. This movie is rather about an ordinary man with an extraordinary grade of affection and adoration towards his father. And just like any of us, he's got some issues too. It's a pure family-vendetta action drama. As a filmmaker, is it so blasphemous to be inclusive and narrate a story with characters portraying actual human shades? For all that talk of misogyny and feminism, did we fail to notice how realistically and maturely Rasmika's and Ranbir's relationship has been portrayed? Can't we appreciate the fact that the movie has used music to bring out the art and fervour of not just emotional scenes but also the action scenes? How refreshing of an idea is that! And finally, Bobby Deol. I never knew the guy had so much talent in him. He doesn't have a word of dialogue in the movie, and yet, he hits the ball out of the park with his angelic-demon expressions. Kudos, to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for having the bold chutzpah to choose to make a movie that speaks the truth that all humans do have grey shades, rather than play safe and rake in the moolah.

I liked the movie, but I also felt that the scene with Tripti was unnecessary. Lord Bobby needed more development. Felt like Sandeep prioritised on ruffling political correctness rather than focusing on the story development. Whenever there was a discussion among my family, relatives and friends as to who is the best actor among gen next in Hindi cinema, my answer has always been Ranbir Kapoor. In his 16 year career, after some amazing performances right from his first movie Saawariya, Wake Up Sid, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, Tamasha, Barfi, Rockstar, Rocket Singh Salesman of the year, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Sanju among others, now Animal is like the icing on the cake for Ranbir...what a mind blowing performance as well as all the qualities required for a Superstar, the looks & style which he always had, the swag, charisma, screen presence and finally he has made a mark in the action genre which was perhaps the only genre he didn't get a chance to shine in till Animal happened. He is now a bona-fide Superstar without doubt and has moved ahead of his contemporaries by leaps and bounds. Bobby Deol made a fantastic comeback with a spectacular performance in a role which could have been longer no doubt but the impact is no less. Anil Kapoor Sir is first rate as always. Rashmika Mandanna looks really cute & has also done a superb job. Tripti Dimri looks gorgeous and has acted really well too. Lovely watching veterans Prem Chopra Sir, Suresh Oberoi Sir and Shakti Kapoor Sir..all have done their respective roles well. Finally, for the man himself, Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, my personal opinion is that he was not at all influenced by our usual type of Indian masala entertainers but those who have watched films of Legendary Hollywood Directors Martin Scorsese and Brian De Palma will see their influences more on SRV's direction. I am not saying he is on par with them but his screenplay, direction, the language, violence, the very open sexual references and scenes have all got it's origins probably because he has been their fan and made a masterpiece gangster noir movie which belongs to the category of cinema which Scorsese and De Palma have made. Again I am just saying the influence is visible and not saying SRV is on that level. I was mighty impressed by that and can't wait for the second part. I agree the second half is not everyone's cup of tea but had it been just fights and bullets I think it would have ended up like another KGF or any other masala film. My personal opinion of course. Blockbuster without doubt!!!😃👌👍👏🔥

I don't understand why it seems that it is incumbent upon Indian cinema to preach. The last time I checked, cinema, regardless of its ethnicity, is meant to entertain and for its art to be appreciated. And Animal does just that. It's true that if you're expecting a run-of-the-mill Bollywood movie where the "hero" is larger than life, and the "heroine" must sound and look like a "Bollywood heroine", and the "villains" are born villain, then yea, this movie is not for you. This movie is rather about an ordinary man with an extraordinary grade of affection and adoration towards his father. And just like any of us, he's got some issues too. It's a pure family-vendetta action drama. As a filmmaker, is it so blasphemous to be inclusive and narrate a story with characters portraying actual human shades? For all that talk of misogyny and feminism, did we fail to notice how realistically and maturely Rasmika's and Ranbir's relationship has been portrayed? Can't we appreciate the fact that the movie has used music to bring out the art and fervour of not just emotional scenes but also the action scenes? How refreshing of an idea is that! And finally, Bobby Deol. I never knew the guy had so much talent in him. He doesn't have a word of dialogue in the movie, and yet, he hits the ball out of the park with his angelic-demon expressions. Kudos, to Sandeep Reddy Vanga for having the bold chutzpah to choose to make a movie that speaks the truth that all humans do have grey shades, rather than play safe and rake in the moolah.
If the movie is bad, it's bad. Bollywood makes such shit that even mediocre movies seem like masterpieces 😂
