Hi Smoe, I've been thinking about this new video all last weekend, now it's Monday morning and it's uploaded. Thanks for the tip. th-cam.com/video/jBXHZjRAHPI/w-d-xo.html
For reusable parts that are not part families you can use only expressions for the parameters of the krx files. I use such reusable parts for a library of raw materials and I am searching a way to change the material of the part. For example a library of square tube parts that you want to clone beacuse you have a unique length. If you have any idea of how can I achieve this it would be great.
Hello sir I really appreciate the tutorial ❤🙏. I have a question though, where would I save the thumbnail bmp if im working on the teamcenter plm system? Any clue how that would work and would be visible to other colleagues?
Course PF-1 and PF-2, understood. Thank you. However, you lose me at 6:48 of PF-3. I know it works, and can repeat your example, but I do not understand what it is doing. What exactly are we naming when we add the >Properties>General>Name. It is not renaming the component. Is it naming a new column in the spreadsheet? That's my best guess. Regards, DB
Hello, great videos, but I have a problem with threads. If I change diameter of shaft, how can I update thread automatically? It is possible? Thank you.
@@dalibormoucka Create the thread, deactivate the option "Match Tread to Cylinder". Open the Expressions with Ctrl+E. Here you will find the parameter for the diameter of your thread (example for "M12 x 1.75" it is p10=12). Set the diameter for your shaft to p10. Now you can change the thread and the diameter of your shaft will follow. I think that's a good idea for a new "tips and tricks" video. 😀
Is it possible to create a parametric assembly family? For example, an assembly S with parts A and B. B has a wave link to A and both parts have interpart expressions to S. I want to create a family of S. Is it possible?
Hello Thiago, in a few weeks it will appear on my website learnnx.com/modular-design/ I will show how you can create dynamic assemblies and automatically select parts of a part family using interpart expressions.
love your videos , perfect
please dont stop
Thank you, and don't worry, it will continue!
I am so curious to see your next video with the new voices… ❤

So amazing this perfect sir
Great video, very helpfull. For reusable parts that are not part families is there any other way to control the material? Through expression?
Thank you, but why do you want to control the material via expressions?

thank you very much, very good very useful.

Save the thumbnail in the item.
Thank you so much

Hi DB, to be able to control the material in the table, the body should have a name. This makes it unique and easier for us users to find.

Which NX-Version are you using?

@@learnNX OK, great tip! It is reverse procedure, but it works nice. Thank you very much. Now I can make my library ❤😀
Oh, no! 😟 Im not able to change size of thread by expression ... 😭
