Bro, does the dct cause any trouble at low speeds ? i have heard it sometimes jerks in bumper to bumper traffic. Currently, i have the sonet facelift. i am thinking of buying seltos next year .
I have experienced jerks rarely in traffic. It should not be almost 0 speed movement. If it is that slow, better we move when enough gap is created while moving.

Bro, how is the reliability of the DCT gearbox of Seltos? Did you face any issues?
Nice review, I was also planning for GTX Plus 1.5 TP DCT but when I went to book the car there was a X Line lined up for delivery just fell in love with Matt Graphite paint scheme and booked the same. I would also be interested in the features video.

How is the ride quality with JK tyers ?
Ok that's a tough question 😅... I may not be able to answer it. But I can say that they will last longer than apollo tyres which are way softer and wear off early.
How is the DCT behaving at slow moving speeds and b2b traffic? Also how is the DCT response on sudden acceleration downshifts?
B2b traffic did not have much concerns, it is smooth. I keep it in Neutral when completely stopped to avoid heating issues.
With sudden acceleration, i have seen that the gear shifting is not optimum. Suppose if it's in D6, with sudden acceleration it goes to D4 or sometimes D3. That gives a small jerk. This is in normal mode. In Sports mode it can be felt even more and sometimes annoying when it is really not required to downshift 2-3 gears lower.
I have recently brought facelift kia seltos. For me DCT engine in heavy traffic is not smooth, gives lot of jerks. I have observed that in sport mode on highway at higher speed, if I apply sudden breaks ex. For speedbreaker it does not reduce rpm which creates scary noise. I am not sure whether this is expected behaviour as I am driving automation first time.

Dashcam is given as additional accessory at 22k extra. It would be cheaper getting it done from outside at 12k-14k

Thanks Amit. Till now I must have driven 250 km in traffic out of total 2500 km but I have not faced heating issues yet with DCT. When it is stopped and not moving at signal, I change to N. That also might be helping.

If your usage is mostly in city traffic then go for cvt. In traffic, DCT will cause a slight jerk in the first two gears which won't be a smooth experience. DCT is not a reliable gearbox, especially the seven-speed dry clutch gearbox. If it's a wet clutch system timely maintenance will not give much headache. The dry clutch one will have a certain life span after that it will fail. Maintenance is very expensive you can check on the internet. The dry clutch is lightweight and shifts are faster. There won't be any transmission loss. In the case of CVT gearbox since it doesn't have any specific gears it will give a smoother driving experience in traffic conditions. The disadvantage is when you go for hard acceleration there will be a slight rubber band effect. If you change the CVT belt on time along with other maintenance required as per the manual it won't give you any headache. CVT won't feel fast like DCT but it will give a smoother experience. As far as I'm concerned torque converters, cvt are the reliable ones. In Volkswagen, the DCT gearbox is called dsg. Before buying give a thorough study about dsg failure on the internet it will help you. And take a test drive of cars with both gearboxes. Even though the Amt gearbox in the least expensive Maruti cars is reliable and the least expensive to maintain it has its negatives like the shifts are bad and slightly slow in selecting the right gear. So you won't see the Amt gearbox in expensive cars.

Kushaq and taugun gives 21 kmpl if we drive 80kmph . German dsg gear box is gem it gives 17 to 18 if we drove 100 plus kmph on highways and in city around 12 to 13
The money you'll save in fuel, you'll spend it maintenance. So it's the same😊
kausaq and taigun 1.5 has 2 cylinder deactivation for that mileage and 1.0 also gives same.. and people shout maintenance.. you need to check engine oil levels after every 6000 kms and if low add engine oil from vw service center that costs 700 per liter.. and adding 0.5 liter is enough.. it hardly takes 5 minutes to check and add engine oil. But people fail to do so and then maintenance goes up in servicing.
@@shobhitsaini86 also VAG Group nowadays have 15,000KM Service Interval. It lowers servicing cost, but this will certianly shorten the engine life in long term.
How is the steering handling ??
It responds well. I did not find much difference between Polo steering and this car, former being very slightly better.. It becomes heavy at higher speeds. Though the car center of mass is higher, since the weight is 1475kg compared to polo 1275kg, it feels grounded at higher speeds.

The model tested didn't have rear Isofix points and here it does so don't compare apples to oranges. The child ratings depend on the child seat and fitment it has with the points

X line 30000 rs jada hai bas aur only matt grey colour aati hai. Baki sab same hai GT line ki tarah. Jisko white ya dusre colour leni hoti hai wo GT LINE lete hai wo bhi Top end model hi hai.
