Be careful Aavak. To finish this game you need at lvl12 collect 15000 water, for craft all gems. Too many grind at game-end. Video excelent, as always. :)
Hey Aavak! A little advice, "Dodge" is the games way of saying "you can move while attacking". Against Goblins and Boars (only things I've fought), the ability to "dodge" and kite with a cudgel can save you soaking one or more hits than necessary. :)
this is a game i do enjoy so thanks for playing it ^_^, also the coins from goblins can make copper and gold bars as well, and if you have the copper bar available some recipes use either copper or iron while some only use iron so just bare that in mind as i got stuck a bit cos of bad generation of iron nodes, and my god at your ore node size! i had 3 small iron rocks and that's it! all around i had tin and copper and tons of bears and boars XD still enjoyed the challange, with bears have food ready and fight as they will chase and catch you it will be hard but you can win with the mace, also the cudgel doging i believe its just you can move and swing where as the mace just swings, though the moving is slow and you get hit anyway -_-
This is an interesting game. I wasn't sure how I liked the level up system and the quests, but it's giving me an old rpg vibe that I kind of like. And it's interesting how leveling up works, where you're using resources instead of gaining experience points. I'm interested to see how this continues!
this game reminds me of the game on DS Lost in Blue. If this game goes more in that direction I think it can become a great one. Instead of all these other survival games out there these days
Aavak, is there a chance you could do a zombie night terror cinematic? You could also do a version with commentary on top, since to make it cinematic you would need to focus. And try to get all challenges please, and you can practice, and edit successes together. It would be GLORIOUS!
Before you mentioned that there were goblins in this game, fantasy, I had this feeling that it reminded me of the old AD&D PC games. Like Baldurs Gate, Temple of Elemental Evil and the likes. No idea why my mind went there but it did. Should be interesting to see how this first taste plays out.

Not quite from what I understand. We're great at running, with the provision that we use our hands to carry water. If we don't. We're still incredibly efficient, but there are dozens of animals that will outrun us enough to be able to pause, recover, then outrun us again, to the point that we eventually have to give up due to needing a rest and to rehydrate. Sweating is an awesome ability that few animals have, but it comes with a cost.
Aavak It's actually quite the opposite, based on my research. Humans are a rather unique breed of predator - rather than relying on ambushes and bursts of speed (like a cheetah), we are instead pursuit predators. Our entire body is specifically made to run for long, long distances at relatively slow speeds. Most animals can't even control their temperature (i.e. pant) and run at the same time, while we can simply passively sweat. This allows us to easily match an antelope's slowest gallop and wait until the beast fries its own brain in the heat. It is sweating, along with our specially designed feet that let us Terminator our prey to death. Really? I mean, on the whole an extremely fit human can run (using Olympic athletes as the source) up to 45 kph. Of course there may be outliers, so for argument's sake, let's say 50 kph. While rabbits are quite variable in speed due to the number of quite drastic differences between domestic breeds, but if we look at wild rabbits, then even among some of the slowest run around 40kph, while the fastest clock in around 70 kph... I mean, if we use the fastest human example we should really be using the fastest rabbit example, and the speed differences are enormous. One could keep up with a car driving around town, the other could outrun cars on a highway (at least going by UK speed laws xD) In regards to dying from extended stress and exertion, this is quite true. But of both species. It's /much/ worse in domestic rabbits however, due to the enormous amounts of selective breeding we've done to promote certain characteristics.
Great commentary, but I'm not sure how I feel about the game yet. I'm spoiled from watching Ark, so this seems a little slow? Also this game's graphics confuse me. On the one hand the map is pretty, but the lack of character customization is disappointing, and the interface feels like it was pulled out of an old school 2D game. When was this game made??? I already have... I think I have one vid left to do, to get two of the challenges left in 4th chapter, but all other challenges have been gained.
You can move while swinging the cudgel. That's the difference with the mace.

attack speed is how many attacks it can do per second, so a knife can do around 1.5 attacks every 2 seconds while a pick would do 1.1 attacks.

Some people find it much easier to play a game if they have some agency in the appearance of their character.
