He took 3 games, showed classic he's the better protoss and then showed him respect by letting him have the spotlight for a bit since blizzcon is his actual objective. Makes sense? He did. He was 3:0 so we have doing some crazy stuff. Classic is obviously stronger, just look at WCS points. SoS got a bit lucky, good harass here cannon rush there his 3 wins were more luck than skill. Do not get me wrong he is skilled but just not as Classic. This series should have went 4:2 for classic but not in a reverse sweep. But every now and then things get a bit lucky/unlucky and stuff so you get this reverse sweep kind of situation. But no, definitely no throwing on purpose. Just subotimal and risky play because SoS cannot really win Classic straight up. He tried and he was not able to pull it of.

@@trilingualkid No Sos would have more points than solar if he lost to maru and the solar lost to maru after. In the case where maru beat sos. Solar would have to beat maru to have more points than Sos. In fact it would have made more sense for sos to let maru win seeing that sos almost lost to solar. Solar could have made it but he would have to beat maru which is honestly less likely than him beating both sos and classic. Do you get what im trying to say?

Why would Maru need to beat Solar, he's already qualify for Blizzcon, SOS need to advance and beat Solar to get into Blizzcon, and that was the whole point of the throwing game, it doesnt matter what Maru does, he's already in Blizzcon, they are trying to get as many Jin Air Green wing to blizzcon.
