    The problem with biometrics is if they can convince your phone carrier say Verizon or T-Mobile that they're you and need a replacement phone or SIM card once they receive the new SIM card or phone they deactivate your phone and once they set up the new phone they put in their biometrics and it allows them access to your banking.
    I think the best thing is to use a username and password that you do not use anywhere something totally unique and only login over the wireless network never on a Wi-Fi network especially at a hotel or public place. You may even want to have just one phone that's dedicated just for banking and doesn't have any social media or other apps on the phone. Also that phone should have separate email with a Yubikey
