Checking in from the USA ....this model, the V2 has been on the market for four years over here and I was one of the original kickstarters. No problem with battery life or indeed much else. Make sure all bolts are tight and make sure the axle clamps are properly engaged and tight. The clamps have a rubber pad, the only wearable item. Replace them every 3 years - right now they are around $10 for the pair. I just sold my V2 and replaced it with the new Alphard cybercart, just because I could. The Alphard products are way more stable, with the larger wheels, than the MGI or Stewart brands. At our local course, which has elevated tees and also kerbs between paths and tee boxes, the larger wheels keep the Alphard stable. The Alphard does not have the radio control range that the MGI does, but much prefer to keep mine close. The new Cybercart does not come with a 15/30 yard "bump" which I really miss.
I bought the Alphard 2 a couple seasons ago. Bought a separate push cart that I converted with a free spinning front wheel. Awesome cart, goes everywhere and easily gets through about 32 holes on a charge. If you don’t overdo the areas you take the cart and keep it very straight to the point I could see getting 36 holes on one charge. Total game changer for people who enjoy walking. This is a cannot miss addition to anyone’s golf game.
Fantastic review Gaz and you will never be disappointed with a remote trolley, I bought an MGI remote trolley and haven’t looked back, I made the same mistake with my putter cover so now when I’m sending it towards the next tee I put the cover inside my golf bag. A few people I know have MGI, and I think they’ve had less issues than Stewart and Motocaddy’s users. I do think with power trolleys, they’re very good these days and if you take care of them, they’ll be good. I know, it speeds up and slows down but I think we’re on to hit it before Christmas 🎉
@ one of my golfing partners has the motocaddy M7 remote and he’s had quite a few issues with his unfortunately and said he wouldn’t buy another one. I do like thus idea though and to only have to pay an extra £100 for the trolley is amazing
Gary I am hearing their premium model is permitted on the greens and can actually be used for putting. Place the trolley, set your line and follow the remote instructions. Just a heads up as i know you will have a keen interest in this feature.
that performs really well. I have a remote trolley but doesnt perform as good as this. The follow feature is outstanding. Here in Alberta I'd say 95% use a buggy. They dont even think about walking. They see me walking and its, " I wish i could walk but my knee/hip/ankle/back * delete as necessary" I'm no slower than the guys in the buggies, may be if they hit it straight
I had a remote control trolley a few years ago, and sent it back! They need a lot of attention, like a naughty child, and you can do without that in a competition!
It couldn't tip any more than my Motocaddy M3. I store 4 sacks of 12 golf balls simply to keep the front wheel down. There is no weight on the front wheel anyway. Looks a good system weight to ALi Express copies them! Buy it for £100
Hey Gaz, I’d be interested, but if it can’t pickup a head-cover it’s failed… 😂 Definitely a great option. My Mottocaddy needs to surrender though… Great insight, great content, as ever 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
It looks very good especially as an all In standard price of £699. My only gripe would be the folded down size of it. The wheels and motor unit looks long and then the trolley itself is a similar length. I use a non remote powacaddy basic model from a few years back and when it finally gives up the ghost would be looking at the CT6 or similar that folds really compactly. My gear is hardly ever out of the boot.
@ hi Gary, might be a good follow up to show how small it can go. When I changed my car I took my clubs with me as would not buy a car that I could not lay the clubs across the boot. I did not want to be having to drop seats or have the bag laid diagonally or having to take the woods out etc. BMW X1 / Mazda CX5 both fitted the bill. Mazda not economical enough.
I got that same model it’s a blast lol I named mine after my grand daughter because In The follow mode sometimes it follows or goes around in a circle or run over me 😂😂😂😂
Ive got the stewart Q follow and the V2 has more features and is more stable for just over a 3rd of the price. Considering selling my Stewart for one of these
I’m feeling a Star Wars vibe - Battle or Assassin Droid? To get full use out of I’d like a hedgehog wheel option rather than just adding hedgehog sleeves if they will fit.
I noticed you had it on backwards at first. Common mistake that I still do sometimes. YOu realize your mistake when it rockets backwards into your feet. I call it punishment for not paying attention to detail. I love mine. I've had it for a couple of years, added to a ClicGear 3.5 along with the two wheel modification to the front which is supposed to improve the life of the motors and battery. I've replaced one battery after it finally started to weaken. For the price it is a very good unit to have and if you are smart you can sometimes find them used for half the price, often including the cart. My only complaint is that it struggles with loose sand or gravel. The gyroscope goes crazy but if you turn it off (which you can do on the controller) you can get around that.
Just bought one based on this review..!! Arriving they say in about 3 to 4 days time. so £679 complete with the follow system, bargain as far as I am concerned.
You will love it. You’ll need 30/40 minutes to take your time and set it up, but once you’ve used it once, it’s dead easy, just a case of charging the battery 🔋
Tried it out yesterday Gary at the course , was excellent, just as you reviewed, tried the follow me as well, not sure how much I may use that feature in winter, remote usage was excellent. It's like a Hummer of golf trollies! Cheers.

I’ve had mine two years. Cannot overstate how much joy this has given to my golf game!
Haha 😂 I’ve had mine two minutes and I can already second your review 😅

i have one and i love it. Recommend to tighten the screws on the little wheelie's clamps as one of them fell off and had to replace it recently.
He had it on backwards at first. You can tell by the V2 needs to be facing you and on the right hand side. I have mine for two years and love it.
I did! Well spotted 😄
@garymartingolf you shouldn't have edited it out. It would have been funny and also would show what happens when you put it on backwards.
@ true true, Dan did say that who was filming lol 😃
It looks like you had fun there - especially when you had it following you 😂
Honestly, I don’t know why I’ve never thought about buying one lol 😂
I’ve had one for 7 years now best one out there
Great video brother, keep them coming! God Bless
Cheers Joe 👌🏼👌🏼
Great vid as always mate! Loving that trolley 🔥
Thanks pal

Haha 😅
Have this on my Axglo v2 works perfect 👍
Best option in the e-cart category. Sturdy…. Maneuvers well…. Quiet…

Wow,a nice bit of kit....for the money it's a no brainer...got quite a few functions on it.... better behaved than our lass lol...........
🌟🎊🤩🥳
Ahaha 😅😂 She does what she’s told! She just needs a few more domestic functions and I’ll move her in 😅
Solid product
Hilly course and pretty long to walk where I play and it is the shite!
wow, very impressed.

What model?

Would like to see this with an existing push trolley. They have plenty of kits by looks of it
I’ve got a big max, but it’s the only big max model they didn’t cater for 😄
Hey Gaz, I’d be interested, but if it can’t pickup a head-cover it’s failed… 😂
Definitely a great option. My Mottocaddy needs to surrender though…
Great insight, great content, as ever 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I’m going to right them some very stern feedback! Gen 2 needs a remote control arm! 😅
Just ordered one 😁
Many Thanks Gary! It is a great video made by a great Golfer 🏌With the Club Booster your golfing will improve even more 😉
Thank you. Can’t wait to see more of these trolleys being played in the UK
Holly the Trolley!
Absolutely an Eloise
It looks very good especially as an all

If you message me on social media, I’ll share you my boot as I also never take my trolley out. The base does compress in width.
@ hi Gary, might be a good follow up to show how small it can go. When I changed my car I took my clubs with me as would not buy a car that I could not lay the clubs across the boot. I did not want to be having to drop seats or have the bag laid diagonally or having to take the woods out etc.

Looks mint that, the lads I play with have just spent £1200 each on Motocaddy trolleys, and this looks better quality👌
I got that same model it’s a blast lol I named mine after my grand daughter because In The follow mode sometimes it follows or goes around in a circle or run over me 😂😂😂😂
Haha 😂😂
Very tempted gary for my bad legs 👍
Works nice and you can consider the cost as the price for a new driver. 👍
Ive got the stewart Q follow and the V2 has more features and is more stable for just over a 3rd of the price. Considering selling my Stewart for one of these
This actually looks bang on. Suggested it may be a good crimbo pressie to the Mrs but i dont think she is going to stretch this far haha!
Haha, you can try 😃
Looks like a Doris🎉
Haha
Dolly, it has to be a trolley Dolly 👍
Can you get winter wheels for it Gaz
I’m going to DM them as it’s been a popular question in the comments.
I kind of like Dolly the trolly 😊
Dolly is a good one 😃
Dolly the trolley!
Crop Circles reported on 1st hole on Yorkshire golf club…
Time to put kettle on ☕️
Haha , it’s always time for a cuppa Yorkshire
Great Video Gary, That looks a quality piece of Kit, looks well worth the money 👌🏌♂⛳
I’m buzzing with it 👌🏼
@@garymartingolf Definitely going to look into this model when I replace my current trolley, Hopefully next year 👌
whats the lifespan of the battery ?.
I’m not sure on that one. Reading my the comments, some have had them years with no complaints.
Want one 😂
I’m buzzing with it, can’t wait to get back out lol
I’m feeling a Star Wars vibe - Battle or Assassin Droid? To get full use out of I’d like a hedgehog wheel option rather than just adding hedgehog sleeves if they will fit.
I will feed this back. I’m guessing they haven’t got winter wheels in their collection as they’ve only just started to supply trolleys to the UK.

A2B2
Please will you test it on a 100m sprint, just to see if it can keep up with you. That would be a potentially viral video.
Not bad at all for the price
I’m in love 😍
@@garymartingolf
Don't blame you pal, that thing looks awesome.
@@garymartingolf is it carrying your other love, Miura 501s?
Stewart still the leader, I love my VERTX.
I’ve never tried one
Jamer R🤣😅😂
It available in 🇨🇦
It looks like Johnny 5.
Gary I'm afraid this is just something else you will have to clean-up, after your round, before placing it back into your blue '76 Vauxhall Viva 1300
Lol 😂
Molly the Trolley
Molly 🔥
Betty the trolley needs to be named Betty
I like that. Well confirm the name next time out lol 😂
Worst car parking ever. Front wheels are on the grass 😂
That’s not my car, it’s Dans! I agree 😂
Doesn't appear to come with winter wheels, so would be banned from the course for a good part of the year.
I’m going to feed this back. I don’t think this will be a big issue, I’m sure they could create a terrain version.
Got to call her Alice …. Who the….
Hahah, I love that, can’t see this getting beat 😅

Call her slasher
Why lol
