bande Kee Marcello encore fait une grande chanson. Je t'aime les gars et Kee vous êtes si merveilleux. Très belle chanson, belle mélodie, guitare bien pris en charge. Kee vous êtes tellement talentueux.
kee was..was a very great player..great guitarist...he was keep moving on away from europe band..thinking new skills thats not like him in the europe band, in a while but shame he's trying to forget it using drugs..i always was sad bout kee.. that i also a guitarist was influence with his riffs and playing skills when he was in europe..still great but hes really best in europe...kee ill never forget you in the europe band...
Kee Marcello is back with a new album - "Scaling Up". You can find a real video for the song "Black Hole Star" and the songs "Scaling Up", "Wild Child" and "Don't Miss You Much" here on youtube.
Personally, I don't understand the bashing of EITHER guitarist. As a player myself, I believe both of these guys to be among the upper echelon of rock guitarists. They have different styles, with John's being a bit more "blues infused." To say one is better than the other is just, well, stupid. They're just different.
@rock4eternity1 I still think Joey Tempest's vocals are better than Kee's and I admit Kee's voice is really good here but Joey Tempest still has the edge. Listen to Last Look At Eden from 2009, the latest Europe album. They're now in studio recording the new album to be released April 2012.
kee is great but this is a crazy kee... i loved kee this is still great..still great..but look at their faces looks crazy..i love this melody...love this song to but i love the older kee..whats the title?
@MrOmarjafet Norum played with Dokken the band too...the album "Long Way Home" from 2002.. Wasnt that great especally following the incredible "Erase The Slate" with Reb Beach on guitar. Check it out though..some songs were OK.
OH GOD! Kee and John are both great. In their ways like we all are. Their different it is all about taste and what you like. John is more or less a blues guy hes got some great solos and Kee his technique and his melodies is what makes him good ,at least what made me listen to him and Europe ,i mean listen to superstitious. And this bullsh#t talk about his drug issues and least he had the guts to tell the public, i`m sure John took some to back in the day. I liked this good melodie thats the way
Of course he isn't a guitarist! I listen to Europe since i was 6! I then on 8, i got "out of this world" and i wondered "Kee can't be that good!" I was just a kid, what did i know, right?Years went by and after listening to every Vai, Yngwie and Satch album and learned to play some cool stuff my self, i realized "YES!!! Kee is that good!" So good that people can't even fathom his style and licks! Norum?! Kee has more skill in style in his little finger!!!
Never the less a great song. Who gives a fuck what he wears guys? He has every right to dress what way he wants, why should it get in the way of his music? Just sit back and enjoy the music and get past this Europe feud.
@tyraberger1 I second that - Kees vocals are "okay" on recording - but he really doesn't cut the vocals live - at all. He should get a proper singer and concentrate solely on the guitar playing. 'cause apart from his soloing mastery Kee is also one of the worlds best rhythm players. He did really stunning and creative rhythm playing in europe. Now we are left with rhythm guitars overshadowed by poor vocals live...
I personally love OUT OF THIS WORLD and PRISONERS IN PARADISE ahead of THE FINAL COUNTDOWN album. I find Kee's solos to be more melodious & in-sync with the lyrical melodies. 99% of John's solos run away from the lyrical melodies, almost like trying so hard to stand out and wanting to be noticed but in the end John's solos are forgettable and really unfun to be "played" with your mouth. I am not a guitar player and I don't understand who has better techniques. Kee's guitar play is just more melodious, catchy, and memorable. Kee plays live a lot better than John too. Europe can play whatever forgettable music they want since making the comeback (Secret society, bag of bones, start from the dark, last look at eden all have gotten less melody than the previous albums in the name of blues), and I can stop enjoying Europe as I please and choose to love GOTTHARD instead!
John Norum's ego is too big for Kee Marcello to rejoin Europe. Besides, Europe have a lot of explanations as to why Kee was left out. But ...all is said and done ... I no longer enjoy Europe as I used to ... It's part of life ... everything changes ... so do Europe. Let it be ... I've moved on and found better melodies and riffs with GOTTHARD
Halim Tsiang Met Kee in Gothenberg before the Rock of Ages show. An absolute gentleman! Totally agree with you with the solos. Kee's solos are still creative and Europe are a poorer and without Kee. Norum has that same horrible tone on his guitar since the reunion. I've stopped buying Europe albums.
It's a matter of taste. I don't care who is more skillful between John and Kee. I don't care if John is THE BEST GUITARIST EVER. All I know is I find myself enjoying Kee's guitar play more. I feel more connected with his play and skills. I feel that Kee pours a lot more emotion to the song through his guitar solos and riffs. I feel more connection through Kee's guitar dynamics. Taste is personal and very subjective. And I am entitled to voice my preference.
@rock4eternity1 Are you fucking kidding me? KEE has nothing on Joey vocal wise. Joey can sing perfectly live now! His voice aged well. But I also love kee I don't pick sides. I would love for Kee to be back in Europe playing guitar with John!
Well; you are obviously not on Kee's level to appreciate him as much as you appreciate Norum! Kee's solos on "Out of this world" are something Norum can't even grasp! He can never compose such solos! I wonder if anyone can for that matter! Norum got sloppier as time went by and now, Kee can sound better even if he ties the guitar on his balls!
no, Norum plays all genres of rock ! Norum played tribute to Gary Moore (The Loner) & Tribute to the Shadows (Apache) very well! More the solos with new love in town, ninja, time has come, Final Countdown, ..... I Like Kee, But John Norum is better
This album is so dry, everything sounds the same, nothing special anywhere at all. No new interesting solos, this is why i listen to Europes new stuff, its so rock n roll! And John Norums guitar playing is phenomenal, he just shoots new stuff at you, and hes so talanted and professional, Norum has a gift. Im sorry Kee, but this isnt good, i looked forward to this album, but i got so disappointed. It was a good idea though..
Lousy argument mate! Even a mediocre guitarist can write a solo to an already existing melodic composition! And it isn't the solo which makes the song being recognized throughout the world. That is utterly ludicrous! It's the intro synth man! The song wasn't written by Norum. Crediting Norum for the impact of the song is laughable at least!
It's not that i'm on Kee's level, but there's certain jealousy radiating from the poorly talented musicians, that they just got angry watching virtuosos like Kee! Norum is nowhere near Kee! Almost anyone who picked up a guitar will tell you that!
bande Kee Marcello encore fait une grande chanson. Je t'aime les gars et Kee vous êtes si merveilleux. Très belle chanson, belle mélodie, guitare bien pris en charge. Kee vous êtes tellement talentueux.
Kee is king!
No ! John Norum is king !. Kee can’t play !
Kee rules ! best guitar ever...

Killer song, totally amazing!

muy buena la canción
it's perfect
Amen brother!
kee was..was a very great player..great guitarist...he was keep moving on away from europe band..thinking new skills thats not like him in the europe band, in a while but shame he's trying to forget it using drugs..i always was sad bout kee.. that i also a guitarist was influence with his riffs and playing skills when he was in europe..still great but hes really best in europe...kee ill never forget you in the europe band...

yes john norum is betetr, norum plays all genres of music, hard, blues, acosutic, metal ... Watch their solos !
Who wrote the solo of final countdown recognized by all people on this planet?
JOHN NORUM of course!!!
I love the way he plays the guitar.
I like so much this song.
I wish Kee would be again in Europe.
@brox68 It wasn't Dokken the band it was Don Dokken as a solo artist.
kee is great but this is a crazy kee... i loved kee this is still great..still great..but look at their faces looks crazy..i love this melody...love this song to but i love the older kee..whats the title?
Kee with an Epiphone in this video!!!!!! ;-)
Does Norum play any Ska songs on any of his albums?
@MrOmarjafet Norum played with Dokken the band too...the album "Long Way Home" from 2002.. Wasnt that great especally following the incredible "Erase The Slate" with Reb Beach on guitar. Check it out though..some songs were OK.

does anybody know the title of this masterpiece?
Kee voice is very OK.
Of course he isn't a guitarist! I listen to Europe since i was 6! I then on 8, i got "out of this world" and i wondered "Kee can't be that good!" nice epiphone les paul :D

To me it sounds better than "Melon Demon Drive". we'll see when the album comes out
Kee marcello is a better guitar player than john norum. Way more exciting to watch play. Prisoners in paradise is the best europe album by far
I personally love OUT OF THIS WORLD and PRISONERS IN PARADISE ahead of THE FINAL COUNTDOWN album. totally agree man..

His lead guitar is still good enough.
The weakest part of the song, IMO, is the first... then it just...shines on! Good work Kee, KEEp on rockin' like that!
@rock4eternity1 Are you fucking kidding me? KEE has nothing on Joey vocal wise. Joey can sing perfectly live now! His voice aged well. But I also love kee I don't pick sides. I would love for Kee to be back in Europe playing guitar with John!
7 DICEMBRE 2011 ROMA
8 DICEMBRE 2011 CASALMAGGIORE
10 DICEMBRE 2011 URBANIA
its alice cooper?haahhahaha sorry was a joke, kee marcello rocks
Ironic comments.I was wrong to begin such discussions.
totally agree....Melon Demon Divine is better than any new Europe album
Guys, don't feed the trolls.
Europe Vevo, why don't you leave from here and go to comment your beloved Norum's videos? Piss off!
Well; you are obviously not on Kee's level to appreciate him as much as you appreciate Norum!
Kee's solos on "Out of this world" are something Norum can't even grasp! He can never compose such solos! I wonder if anyone can for that matter!

I love John Norum’s guitar playing the best !. I don’t like Kee Marcello very much !.
And Kee can't?! Bahaha
no, Norum plays all genres of rock !

John Norum is better than Kee Marcello !
John plays, hard, blues, metal ...
You don't know what you are talking about dude...Kee is far more versatile than Norum...
Funny thing is Kee Marcello even said Europe sounded to modern.......Haha
I don't like it
the autotune is to noticeable, should have fixed that
Lousy argument mate! Even a mediocre guitarist can write a solo to an already existing melodic composition!
And it isn't the solo which makes the song being recognized throughout the world. That is utterly ludicrous! It's the intro synth man! The song wasn't written by Norum. Crediting Norum for the impact of the song is laughable at least!
i dont understand! Norum is on the top with Europe! Kee Marcello alone...
Punk? Song is MEH...solo was very formula stuff that had no feel of creativity. What happened to the good solo's from Europe?
Norum is better? Hardly....you obviously are not a guitarist!!!
totally wrong
Kee Marcello sounds like a horrible Holiday Inn band!
It's not that i'm on Kee's level, but there's certain jealousy radiating from the poorly talented musicians, that they just got angry watching virtuosos like Kee!
Norum is nowhere near Kee! Almost anyone who picked up a guitar will tell you that!
John Norum is the best !
