but my dear, Americans betrayed his father. and today he is cooperating with those who betrayed his father. in honor of his father, he must distance himself from the traitorous America.
AMERICA never wants and have never wanted peace in the region ! have a look back in the history, no need to go too far, Taliban and Afghanistan, the idea that the US with the most advanced arms could not be able to destroy the Taliban in less than a week is a joke ! we Iranians know now very well, what is going on in the world ! a lot of countries (the US, the UK, Germany, France and all other great ones) don't want a powerful and successful and prosperous government !
But at least Andrew talks way more honestly than any other american politician and historian. He points out to somethings no one talked about before. All we always hear from Americans , brits and other Europeans is like: ""Oh, Shah was a terrible person."" In this case I'd like to thank you Andrew. We appreciate your efforts. And to be quite honest, it's understandable to me that there are a couple of things you're not allowed to talk about !! No country confess against itself. It's natural that you guys say we didn't PLAN the revolution and we didn't support it . The truth is you did. You did it to confront communism, break down the oil price and so many other reason. You sacrifice all for your interests. YOU WON in 1979 , and your victory was our loss. As a 22 year old girl , i can neither forget nor forgive your hostility against Iran.
and what is not understandable is that the person whose Americans betrayed his father, is helping the traitorous America today to betray Iran again? in honor of his father, the prince Reza must distance himself from the traitorous America.
And where are you getting your history from as a 22 year old because every country has it's own propaganda but there is one thing the west does especially America, in America the people have freedom of information act where after so long like 20 years or something like that becomes public information so Americans can request information on every thing that America was doing 20 years ago and the government has to give the people the information they are asking for unless it's something like information on nukes and other things that would be a direct threat to America unlike other countries who really need to keep up the lies because they know there population would revolt against them for lying to them for so long like the leaders of Iran who are still in power and you got to remember there was Rumours and conspiracy theories and propaganda back in them time as there is now. So I'm just wondering where you get it from.

Mr. Cooper is no expert on Iranian history and geopolitics, and he has virtually no understanding of global ploys and politics, particularly in relations to Iranian affairs. I can touch on an umpteen number of such cases of Cooper's unfamiliarity, but most comically, Mr. Cooper believes that the Iranian people pulled a revolution against the Shah in 79! Whereas, the events of 1978-79 were almost a carbon copy repeat of the 1917 events in Moscow, where in 1917, the Liberals of London, Washington and the Vatican brought Lenin and the Bolsheviks to power; and in 1979, those very same Liberals brought Khomeini and the Islamists to power in Iran. The big difference was that in 1917, they brought Lenin to Moscow in a sealed train; but in 1979, they brought Khomeini to Tehran in a sealed plane. And in 1953, it was Mossadegh who pulled a coup, not the Shah. Only an uninformed individual would accuse a monarch of pulling a coup!

Even the speeches over the seas on this topic is very narrative emotional based just like here in Iran. This is a very huge indication to how irrational Iranian politics has been over decades, each time exploding with the slightest emotional touch. I hope he has documents for all of his claims, cuz some of them seem the same BS old guards circulated about the start of 79 revolution. His portrait of the Shah as a gentle soul is simpleminded at best and misleading in reality. He was a complex character for sure but benevolent ain't it.
