Same! I'm still struggling to grow the little edges I have. My dermatologist said it was Alopecia so hopefully next time I see her, she can give me more treatment for it
it's the worst! My hairline receded so badly I thought my forehead was just getting bigger 😭I hope your derm helps you out, castor oil and flat twisting the front + edges worked really well for me, I've been forgetting to do it recently so they're falling out again🤦🏾♀ @@cierral1170

Girllll having a thin hairline is no joke!! I'm currently using a bunch of things to help it grow and i've seen an improvement. i'll do a video on this because it's helped me grow somewhat of my hair back 💘
I think you should give yourself a full year and just wear braids or maybe some sort of crochet style. Stay away from anything where you have to manipulate your hair just leave it completely alone I’m telling you it will do wonders because my hair grew so much when I left it alone for a year or so, as soon as I went back to doing ponytails and everything else that’s when my hair started to break off again because I was doing it on a consistent basis. I have faith that your hair will grow healthy. Also look into hair oils that’s for rejuvenating the hair follicles.
Hey Hun, you did a great job, I like how you added the hair, your way looks easier. They look great. New subscriber ❤, I do have a channel also, pass by and show some love Sis ❤❤
I've been dying to try this since I saw it on tik tok. Has it lasted so far- or does it get tangled a lot? I don't want to spend all that time braiding if I can't make it last more than a week 🥲
“I’m someone who’s never really had a full head of hair” I FELT this too hard😭
this is all i got!!!😭

That's actually sad
I'm glad you did it with expressions hair ain't got the cash for human hair!! It can be done and looks fab.
They came out really pretty, well done
Thank you, I really tried with this one!😅
Nice! This turned out better than I expected
This was great to watch! You have the exact same hair length and texture as me and im gonna start this style on my head tonight! Wish me luck :)
how did it go?
A cute hairstyle, defiantly going to try this. I can relate to your hairline. Ponytails can be deadly 😅
The orginator also flat ironed the hair so that way you get rid of the texture, so it doesn't tangle as much.🤗
yes, I decided to blow dry it out instead!
The originator?? Pick and drops is a hairstyle that has existed for YEARS in Africa so who is this "originator" you speak of🤨?
Originator? I did this style over 25yrs ago 😂... She was a baby then lol... Style been out too long to call that woman the creator of it. Ijs

How long does it last being that its synthetic hair left out??
Thank you.

Thank you
How long does this last? Does it tangle?
Amazing, i actually feel inspired to do this style. And your right cost of living, i cannot be buying human hair. Thanks for sharing❤.
yes, this style is cost efficient and cute !! 💖✨
I recommend putting some Jamaican castor oil with a few drops of rosemary oil. Apply it on your edges twice a week. Scalp massages might also help
I love this!

Have you tried bohemian braids? (The braids with the curls added)
Wow looks amazing!!! 💗💗Can you link the exact hair you used or comment the exact name??
Thanks lovely! I used xpressions in colour 1B 🤍
@@kaekapitais this expression lagos braid or pre stretched...they are a few different expressions braid packets
@@rachaelo3882it says the one in the 3 pack I think that's the pre-stretched one.
Tip: dip the hair in extremely hot water before you braid it so it can be flowy
Pro tip if you trim your ends before you get braids, it will help your hair grow better.
Best thing i did for my dead ends was this. Thank you💕
Does blow drying it before you curl actually make a difference
Yes! it smoothes out the kinks and makes it really bouncy
What hair did you use
Did you prep the hair like she advised?
What are the maintenance???
As i used expressions the hair looked good for around 2-3 weeks. But you can always re curl the hair in hot water if it starts to frizz 💕
❤❤❤
we have the same hairline! my hair has been like this since I was born :/

What length of hair did you use ?

Don’t you dip your real hair in hot water too because the braid starts so high?
My real hair is short and because of how I braided up the hair (into 4 sections) it will only curl the braided part
Where are you from live?
From TikTok
Oh my God love your accent you sound like English or british accent right ?❤
yeah i think so

Tbh cut it all off start again and wear a full wig you be good in two months castor oil is a miracle worker .
I've cut my hair off before to do exactly that, if i don't see progress then I'll cut it very short

great work but i think you may need to take a break on braids. it could be too much tension on your hairline.
So, microbraids?
