The problem is you must be reliably able to kill a rinnegan user.
Kabuto is so overpowered you just have to laugh. Rember he used the edo tensei army to kill over 40,000 shinobi in the 4th great ninja war
He might have killed 40,000 ninja in the 4th Great Ninja War, but technically he didn't do it with his hands. He didn't perform Ninjutsu to kill them, Taijutsu or Genjutsu. He used his Edo-Tensei characters that killed them for him. Kabuto technically killed them, but the manpower that was forced into the slaughter of so many Shinobi was by others. And I might be wrong, but I don't think he killed that many in the 4th great ninja war, Itachi performed Reanimation Release after defeating Kabuto and Madara went away, and in the 4th Great Ninja War, Obito performed Rinne-Rebirth to summon Madara to life. No boundaries. Just plain old Madara.
So Madara with the assistance of Obito Uchiha actually slaughtered the 40,000 shinobi. Also, if he actually DID slaughter the 40,000 shinobi in the 4th great ninja war, keep in mind that Pain killed over 80,000 in a minute with ONE SINGLE MOVE. Pain performed Shinra Tensei, and the whole of Konoha died (almost everyone) and the whole Hidden Leaf was destroyed.
Pain wins against Kabuto if they were to fight, but Nagato (Edo-Tensei) gets STOMPED by Kabuto if they were to fight. (Sage)

He has all of the sound 4’s abilities most notably an unblockable genjutsu and the ability to place webs everywhere. kimmiaro’s abilities like bracken dance and then can travel through the bones, orochimaru’s abilities, jugo/suigetsu/Karin’s abilities. He is a perfect sage. Can shut off vision to stop genjutsu, can immobilize opponents with a jutsu that has no effect on himself, he can change the area around him at will to benefit his situation or to use it as an offensive force like he fucks itachi with. and the craziest thing about all of this is that he can summon madara or anyone else at will as well. Kabuto stomps.

Am I missing something? In this video and countless others, Swag loves to say that Sage Naruto "took out the Asura Path with one punch". You can see the panel at 5:58, and that's clearly a Rasengan, right? I've always wanted to ask this cause it keeps coming up, and I think a Senjutsu enhanced Rasengan is quite a bit different from a single punch when it comes to power scaling.

i think in the manga it's shown with a rasengan but in the anime i remember it was a punch too and i've watched the battle 6+ times. But don't mind me my memory is not rly good 😊
I believe in the anime it is still a rasengan, it is just much harder to see. If you freeze it when Naruto smashes him you'll see the little wispy blue chakra trail things emanating up from his hand which usually come from the rasengan, and notice that his hand does appear to be holding something into the path though it is much more obscured

(Killer B did not use this because he would have killed his friends.) I love kisami but, I can't see him landing a fatal blow on orochimaru. Only way is some type of instakill as he can survive being bisected and possibly decapitated.

This seems like a pretty straightforward win for Kabuto. People really seem to sleep on him and don't really think about how many crazy abilities he has. Hell, Because of the Hydration technique he got from the Hozuki, Which allows him to be immune to all physical attacks, Even Shinra Tensei would at best make him take a minutes or two to put himself back together. Chibaku Tensei can be escaped pretty easily and on top of all that he has healing prowess that might be around Hashirama levels.
Im not even dissing on Pain, Dudes another nightmare to fight against, But Kabuto is just such a bastard to deal with that the author had to give the Uchiha a dedicated power wanking just to beat him. Nagato fairs a much better chance but I think his lack of mobility compared to the super mobility given by sage mode would again be to much for him to over come

A few things I disagree with.
Hozuki does not make him completely immune to physical attacks. Unlike Suigetsu, kabuto needs to make a physical effort to use that ability, seeing how when itachi cut his horn it did not automatically grow it back. Also it should be noted that unlike Suigetsu, he seems to have only used water form as regeneration; when itachi used susanoo to protect sasuke, kabuto did not slip past the closed fist.
Considering Almighty Push has the blast radius of a modern nuke, bits and pieces of 'water form' kabuto would be scattered miles apart, taking considerable time to rematerialize. Enough time for Pain to seal him.
Furthermore that soul-grab technique should work on kabuto, water form or not.
The only reason itachi needed to use izanami was because they needed kabuto alive and conscious. You can tell in the fight they took means not to kill him - like sasuke using amaterasu on the ground surrounding kabuto instead of on him.
Lastly Naruto's win against Pain was a stroke of unbelievable luck. He came right after Pain had used Almighty Push and so was out of commission. He had two other toad sages with him along with giant toads to deal with the beasts. Plus he needed Intel on Pains vision to take him by surprise (killing one in a toads mouth and using smoke screen). Then - even then - all it took was the last remaining Pain to whoop his ass. Had that Pain been fighting at the start the whole thing would've ended much sooner.
Kabuto was one of my favourite characters in the show but lets be real, Pains feats are just too impressive. The dude pretty much soloed the leaf village low-diff.

Pain bodies arn't so durable? Well I don't know but the deva path seemed to be unaffected in the battle vs 9 tails naruto when thrown giant boulders on his head that burries him in the ground or getting shot by tail beast mini bombs in the face or slammed into a mountain and have that mountain fall on him... but yeah other than that, not very durable.

Well Sage Naruto punched it, don't get me wrong sage mode is pretty powerful boost. That's why Sage Kabuto could likely destroy a path just as easily.
Edit: I hear the sage naruto used rasengan against the pain, it wasn't a punch. So sage kabuto can't replicate it but he is still ridiculously powerful. It took Itachi digging his fingers into his asshole to have cast a hax jutsu on Kabuto to defeat him.
Chakra asorbing pain & the female.summoning pain were both able to combat sage naruto!!!! I don't think the pain body's get enough credit

No. There were way too many loose ends to tie off. Also Naruto had accomplished neither of the two major objectives the show set forth. Salvaging Sasuke and becoming Hokage. While I agree the Pain Arc is one of the best in the series, it was nowhere near being able to end.
Everything was already set up, Hinata comes and gets beat, Naruto turns into tailed beast, pain used planetary devastation, but no one else knew about Minatos seals. If you ask me no bullshit

Mans was a spy in every village, an ANBU black ops, in the chuunin exam, a medical ninja who went head to head w tsunade, a member of the akatsuki, orochimaru’s sidekick, and suddenly sage mode character w edo tensei basically fighting every shinobi alive. Then he goes to work at an orphanage.

Anyone else ever wish Pain was one of the more final villains and was just OP like Madara. I swear he is the greatest villain in anything I have watched, the theme, voice, just the demeanor of Nagato acting through Yahiko to enact justice/vengeance, the pain arc is by far the best Naruto ever in every way possible. He was also OP for the arc he was in but it was the good kinda power and not just ridiculous like the war arc

It's not a thing developed by Orochimaru, his clan has this power. Gengetsu (the moustache mizukage) had a similar thing, his body could turn into oil.
Suigetsu vs Zabuza
I feel like pain could just use almighty pull to force kabuto closer to him, thus negating the speed advantage, and just pull him into the other pain that absorbs ninjutsu and chakra. Yes he'd probably get turned to stone but not only can he potentially be revived, but it still would have achieved its goal of removing kabuto's sage mode advantage. and while kabuto is in this weakened state the remaining pains can stab him with those chakra rods effectively making kabuto ineffective and immobile.

This argument is ridiculous..The six path’s of Pain fights in a formation and it took Sage Naruto and whole frog crew do deal with all of them..A one liner argument saying the six paths isn’t ‘durable’ is ridiculous.
1. Animal Path - would give Kabuto a lot of trouble..Kabuto doesn’t have the Chakra capacity to deal with these big creatures, and have it constantly re-summoned. Naruto had three Giant Frogs summoned going into the fight to deal with this..But Even the frogs were getting tired out.
Preta Path - This would allow Pain to absorb most of Kabuto’s technique.
Naraka - Will revive previous injured or died paths...Kabuto would need to kill this Path first..But he won’t even get through other paths..
Deva Path - Pain will not use Chibaku Tensei on Kabuto if he could actually run from it..he will mainly use the attract and repulse forces.. Shinra Tensei can destroy the entire Terrain to a plain in which Kabuto had advantage of.

The six paths of Pain are glass canoons. Their durability isn't directly proportional with the strongest shinra tensei for exemple.
Well, Kabuto could summon that stronger version of Manda or some other poisonous snakes to deal with the animals. The problem will be the dogs but I think Kabuto can do something similar Jiraya did agaisnt those dogs, which is teleporting them inside a digestive system

That is correct but Kabuto could use that white snake sage attack to immobilize them then charge towards Naraka path. Alternatevely, audio genjutsu has been proven to be very effective against Pain. And Kabuto's genjtusu works almost instantly, unlike Jiraya's.
Inthink Kabuto could still use the terrain to his advantage even if it's destroyed due to that hat innorganic animation technique which was a cool idea with a lot of potential. Unfortunattely Kabuto only used it only twice so we don't really know it's full capabilities.

Kakashi's purple lightning pierced through shinki's iron sand which is more durable than Gaara's shukaku shield, Gaara as a kid was able to make a shukaku shield that was tough enough for it to tank a curse mark 2 bone strike from Kimimaro which Kabuto was scared of. So kid Gaara can make a shield strong enough to deflect CM 2 bone strike from Kimimaro, adult Gaara should've more defensive capabilities since his sand paralysed fusion momoshiki for a short while. Kimimaro ( Kabuto was scared of ) < kid Gaara's shukaku shield < adult Gaara's shield < shinki's iron sand < purple lightning. Not to mention, Boruto was the one firing the purple lightning. Kakashi should be way more experienced in using the purple lightning than him. In terms of speed I Dont even need to discuss this. Kid kakashi outspeed a lightning bolt. Kcm 1 naruto is just slightly faster than the Raikage who is lightning speed, Kcm naruto is faster than itachi, itachi is keeping up with sage Kabuto, so even if you wank itachi and said he is as fast as the Raikage (which is very wrong) it still doesn't matter since kakashi is faster (kid) so imagine adult kakashi. Don't forget pain's Summonings, I think they can give kabuto a hard time. Nagato can also summon the 10 tails shell which can easily absorb the multiple souls within the matter of seconds as he did after yahiko's death.
True, but chances are, Kabuto would be able to summon snakes like Orochimaru, and I feel like it might actually be easier for him to do in Sage Mode, so the summons might cancel out. Gamabunta did really well against the Animal Path’s Summons, so if Kabuto summons ones like Aoda, then chances are similar results are yielded.

And don't start with CT because CT is low-diffed via killing Deva before he uses it or he tanks it by liquefying his actual body. Rocks isn't crushing water. Not to mention he can use Sakon's ability to just create a hole for himself to hide in, or use muki tensei on the CT globe. Hiding inside Manda 2's mouth will also work.

Davon MTUI well nagato is different but pain is easy. Kabuto beats nagato too. Ok ik everyone is gonna get mad at me but idc, Kabuto can beat nagato. Reason is because once Kabuto is in Sage Mode he kinda has perfect counters to Nagato specifically.
A.) Summons: Manda V2 and snakes take care of any nonsense with summons. Venom might counter the cerberus similar to amaterasu because of the damage over time as well and worse case scenario manda 2 eats it. The only other utility is hiding in chameleon and sage sensing hard counters that.
B.) Chakra absorption: He can't directly absorb from Kabuto because of all of his nature energy and Oro influence. Mukai tensei is a perfect counter here given that Nagato's weakness is mobility and he can't absorb physical material and White Rage isn't a projectile that reaches the enemy, it detonates on the way and Preta can't absorb shockwaves or light. Tayuya's genjutsu is also a hard counter to getting around preta.
C.) Soul Manipulation: Probably Nagato's best bet here honestly, but he isn't gonna have the neccessary time or ability to pin Kabuto down. Try to grab them like he did Bee and KCM Naruto? Kabuto can slough himself away like he was doing to Susanoo or escape through his mouth with oral rebirth. Nagato def isn't physically blitzing Kabuto to do so and thus his options for pinning kabuto down are slim to none.
D.) Deva Path: ST and CST are countered by his liquid nature and advanced healing prowess both in skill and genetics (thanks to Karin). Kabuto won't be caught off guard by this or Bansho because he can sense when jutsu is going to be acitvated thus granting him good reaction time. Kabuto also has hand snakes and his tail snake to counter Bansho. CT is the only thing in this arsenal that Kabuto really doesn't have a counter for.
E.) Mecha Path: His physicality is outmatched by a sage user with better reflexes, mechanical binding won't work on Kabuto, and lasers and missiles are not really a threat to him. Sage enhanced Suigetsu liquid defense, on top of his emidcal jutsu prowess, on top of Uzumaki vitality is wayyyy to much for his missles and lasers IMO. Suigetsu survived a point blank rudimentary Bjuu blast.
So really only CT is going to effect Kabuto where as Kabuto has a umber of advantages that he can take advantage of
I think kabuto would beat the fuc out of nagato as well, just the fact he knows almost all of nagatos moves and nagato doesn't know shit about kabuto. this alone makes me think none of nagatos strategies would work, and to be fair Naruto should have beaten nagato but lost because of plot so they could make itachi look cool. no way he can rival kyuubi cloak.

Bruh, pay attention to kabuto's arsenal and how it interacts with the Pains... Kabuto knows all the abilities of Pain (as shown when he was controlling edo tensi nagato)but Pain doesn't know all the abilities of kabuto.... what do the Pains have that counters sound genjutsu? nothing. the Pains have no way of actually killing kabuto outside of the soul stealing techniques... but Kabuto knows about this ability and he would just use orochimaru's shed skin no jutsu to escape it since he is aware of it if worse comes to worse. The summons are fodder to kabuto. Even if Pain uses Almighty pull into The giant blade of the Ashura path Kabuto can easily counter attack and survive it due to healing jutsu plus orochimaru shed skin no jutsu..., and missles from the ashura path aren't tagging and killing him either.
Chaotic shinra tensei and chibaku tensei would just kill off the other Pains as well, so Deva Pain wouldn't use those unless he was the only Pain left.
Given this, kabuto wins because pain can't kill him in close quarters and kabuto has plenty of jutsu to stun them and create distance while he sets up the flute genjutsu.
He knows some of nagato's arsenal not all of it. Also what about bansho tenin, he can use that at any time to surprise him. He can heal but only so much. Also how does he deal with the animal path? i can see him taking out the preta and asura maybe but all of them at once. How would he counter the animal path, along w/ the deva, naraka, human all blitzing him at once not taking turns. If they both went in w/ full intel I can't see Kabuto winning. I do like your point about sound genjutsu but the other hard part of dealing w/ 6 paths of pain is lets say kabuto took out all 6. Nagato can just remake them or as they get destroyed have the other paths distract him and put the destoryed path in the king of hell's mouth and voila back to normal. Also reverse summoning isn't only an option for Kabuto thats an option for Nagato too. Also even if he managed to do all this, he not taking down Nagato full power 1 on 1 intel or not lol 0/10 times they in completely different classes.

Also the white rage technique can probably be absorbed if done before it blows up and it isn't even that effective if they aren't in a cave. Swag says that Itachi can't beat Pain due to stamina. Pain can't beat Kabuto based on techniques and knowledge. Itachi can beat Kabuto based on Izanami (Morality). Another way you can see it is that Temari is a Jonin, but Rock Lee who is a Chunin can beat her.
Bo Diego didn’t itacji stab kbuto once when the fight began and he splits his tail to escape? If he wasn’t trying to take kabuto alive that woulda have been the KO cause he’d use the totsuka instead of sasukes sword lol. The rest of the fight didn’t even need to happen except itachi needed him alive.

Cringe Theory yes. That doesn’t matter. Itachi is fast enough to tag him, and the totsuka is literally hundreds of feet. If he used it in close quarter it hits even faster.

Wouldn’t pain be able to level any battlefield regardless of where they fought and all of those other op attacks that weren’t mentioned?.. seems this fight is one sided in kabutos favor which I highly doubt
rocket barrage, kuchiyose spam, battlefield removal, ninjutsu nullification,soul manipulation without prep, etc

Pain was a way of introducing the powers of the rinnegan without it seeming like an insurmountable challenge for the heroes. One of the ways that made them seem intimidating was for them all to be "visually linked" as Pa put it, so they could cover each other perfectly. I think that's the best part of having six bodies at once.

Oh and Kakuzu vs Hiruzen would also be pretty cool.
Hiruzen would probably win a majority, but it would make for a cool video breaking down their different, yet similar styles and they are close enough to each other that it would make for a good fight.
While Orochimaru is superior to Kakuzu, Hiruzen lost against him and only achieved as much as he did because Orochimaru got overconfident.
Kiixi Does not matter who's stonger, it matters who has the counter move to the other, I do agree hiruzen wins though

Kabuto also has karins healing factor and suigetsus liqufication to literally avoid any fatal injury, plus a hes a medical ninja capable of disrupting chakara like Neji. Kabuto still wins. Too much at his disposal
He can bring back people he recently killed, not like Kabuto who can revive most people

Funny how this is such a one-sided battle in Kabuto's favor since I listed every Naruto character (the ones we know enough about to rank them that is) and Kabuto literally has the spot right above Nagato/Pain XD
I feel like it would be a stalemate, unless Kabuto uses Edo to just summon Madara or something. Almighty push can just continuously clear the environment so it's kinda just a weird fight

and remember that when kabuto was controlling the reanimated nagato he had already seen how to dismantle a chibaku tensai
