Great video, and I used it effectively.
Just to add, I received the form from DVLA after 9 working days. I included the BRP card and a photo (did not get it signed since i was sending BRP card), and included a registered return envelope inside the return forms. I received by BRP card back in 3 working days, and the provisional license 3 working days later. Less than 3 weeks to complete the process (Nov 2022).

Can anyone please explain the relationship between this license, App Driving Test, and any other driving tests? I've not seen anyone connecting the dots. People only talk about them differently. Thanks
I would like to suggest something to you youtubers... When you do a video on a popular topic, don't just do what every other person has done, try and provide some new information, like in this case, when usually is the license expected from DVLA? When will original documents be returned(if submitted)? What exact type of postal service is recommended for return of documents?
These are the most important issues. Not just repeating the same type of video that every other person has done.
Try and find out what will make your content unique.

As I've only been in UK for 4 months, I was struggling with the term spent in current residence stage and couldn't find how to add my time spent in Singapore prior to this. Another video i watched on this subject suggested to just enter 3 years in your UK postcode regardless of how long you've been here. I didn't feel that was the right way as afterwards it asks you in the application if you have lived anywhere else in the last 12 months and if you say yes to that, you are contradicting what you just stated earlier. I have submitted my application truthfully now so hope my learners license comes through soon :-)

I still believe one should be able to use part 5A alone. Because all the information required is online with share code, they can confirm status. Anyone who has used only this an is an immigrant should please let us know

You can’t fill it from Nigeria as you’ll be asked to provide your current UK address. This is a provisional license. After you pass practical driving test, you will then get the full UK driving license.

You send it with the dvla post card you get so it is safe, and you can ensure extra security by paying for tracking

There’s no cap on how long, as far as I know. You can be one day in the Uk and apply as long as you have the requirements

I've sent paper version because online is only for British citizents and of course it is reasonable approach for them to take. Online is NOT only for citizens. It’s the route I took and the route many others that I know also took. Getting your provisional license these days takes an average of 3months so you have to be patient. You can also give them a call

I applied for my provisional license within one month of arrival into the Uk. This story of having been in the Uk for 6 months before applying is not true. It's the validity of your visa (more than a 6month visa) that's important
