This boss fight music feels so intense for Bowser. You're not running from him. You're not trying to take out his surroundings. You're actually fighting him in a one on one fight! Sure the fight is not that hard, and quite easy to learn, but this is the first mario game besides the RPGs where you actually feel like you're fighting the King of the Koopas and he lives up to his title. The music is grand and fits Bowser perfectly. I hope we get a Galaxy 3 and a orchestral score that surpasses this one and Galaxy 2s with ease.

On the outside, to many, he is terror incarnate; not just a tyrant, an _inevitability._ A man who will seek out anything and everything if it means all kingdoms belong to him one day. A sovereign to rule over all other rulers.

Phase 2: what you hear here, along with some additional orchestration as well as a choir. (starts in around the 1:32 mark ) after you land the first hit on Bowser, revealing that the self-proclaimed "ruler of the universe" isn't as invincible as he'd like you to believe. Phase 3: Phase 2 on full blast, with the addition of a trilling flute and a rapid snare drum, when King Bowser's been hit by Mario and is helplessly spinning about on the planet's surface, open to an attack.
I’m not sure where you hear the flute, but I do hear an increase in the tempo of the timpani drum, and the fast pace of the trumpet, which I gotta say, that guy got a damn workout with this one.
Is it me, or does this track have a weird sense of finality to it? Not final boss end of the game finality, but end of the series finality. Actually, the whole of Galaxy had this feeling that things have finally reached a peak. Bowser stole the entire castle, not just Peach. He went for taking over the entire universe. And Mario only beat him with help from Rosalina, the closest the series has ever gotten to an actual god. I can't help but wonder if Galaxy was ever intended to be a finale of some kind. Ludicrous thinking, I know, but still.
This reminds me of LarryBoy And The Fib From Outer Space where Junior was caught by the galactic creature who turned evil due to his lies about the plate that he broke because of the choir and the orchestra playing at the same time.

I totally understand the feelings you're going through. The despair at the conditions of the world and the feelings of hopelessness that come with realizing how awful it is, thinking that there's no hope and we're all just kind of...stuck. I don't mean this in a shallow or a preachy way, but I would recommend getting connected to God. Having a relationship with Him allows you to release the things out of your control to Him and focus on just making positive changes where you can, making small improvements to the world one good deed at a time. God literally saved me from ending it all more times than I can even count. If you want a place to start, I'd recommend three channels: "Grow in Faith, Grow in Christ," "Impact Video Ministries" and "InspiringPhilosophy." All three of these people are extremely friendly and informative without being preachy or condescending. I hope this helps!
