# 2 . Work needs to be done by him. I have done more than enough work. Been through horrible dark night of the soul.
It's been 6 long yrs and he is still not ready.... It's very hurtful.. Rn I just want peace within myself.
I'm in the third semester of my life, I've lived long enough to know how things play out. If they're aren't offering to commit in 2 yrs, most likely they never will. And many times if they do commit after years and years, you may find that you're not as deeply in love with them any more. One the newness and excitement has worn off, and you notice their flaws way more, and visa versa. I can't count the people I've known that made commitments after very long courtships, and it crashes for good within a year or so.
There are exceptions, but mostly it doesn't work out. If someone can't decide after 2 yrs, they're just spinning your wheels, wasting your life and years. And as long as you let them, you could be missing out meeting the person who is most right for you, and someone that won't drag their feet, someone that's ready and won't hesitate to take the relationship to the next level without any prompting ! Don't ever let anyone string you along, bc one day you'll look in the mirror and realize they stole the very best years of your life that you can never get back ! Being an older woman, my advice to women is don't stay after 2 yrs if they're not making serious plans to commit to you. It's your que to walk on and say next please ! 90 % of the time when people make you wait and keep you in a holding pattern, they're not worth it ! Real love doesn't string you along, real love grows stronger and commits easily because they don't want to lose you to anyone else ! They don't even want to risk if ! Non committal types will hold onto you and risk losing you, bc deep down they don't love you the way you love them, they just want to hold on to you bc of good sex, or you're always there for them, or you're just comfortable to be with, it makes it easy for them to keep you on the line and never have any intention of committing. Real love doesn't hesitate to commit ! Don't give your love and energy to someone that keeps you on hold, you'll end up regretting it ! ♥️ Lynn
Walk away, do it for yourself, emotionally its tough but later on you'll thank yourself. You are draining yourself if it's one sided... detaching yourself will enable you to see real pic of your story, everyone deserves equal give and take. Love and be loved 😊 else walk away keep yourself firm 👍
