We've been planning at trip to that area to so some home school learning while we trave. This looks like it would be a great addition to our travel plans.

This is really cool. I love my home state. So much to do and see here. Thanks for sharing this. I was just searching information out about the National Forest in SC and had never heard of this shell ring. I did a picture search on Google to see what it looked liked and came across your channel. I am glad to meet a channel showing stuff about our state.

Those guys sure ate a lot of oysters and clams. Nice view there.

Are they going to fix the boardwalk? It has been over a year and a half ago since it was damaged. That is one of the few coastal SC areas that are not over developed yet. People need to see it before it is gone.

I read an article that it was already fixed. Do you know if this is the case or not?

@Southern Food Junkie - I went a month and a half ago and it still was not fixed. It may have gotten repaired but you can still see everything even with the boardwalk broken. It is well worth the trip to the shell ring and the clam mound.

Boardwalk still isn’t fixed, doubt they ever will. It’s beyond repair would need complete rebuild
