Loving this combo series so thanks for helping us out :-) I liked you comparing the Chipped Sapphire to where it lies with Faded Jeans and Uncharted Mariner...... I know you're very busy but maybe for colour comparisons, please would it be possible to show us colour swarches of the likeness colours? I know Tim has done this on lots of his demos but it's not always possible to search thru them to find them. Maybe I'm being a bit selfish, but I'm on a tight budget and can't afford to buy lots of oxides.... Loving the videos though, so thank you :-) x
I've watched too many of these videos to count 😲! But this series is amazing. Thank you for giving me the knowledge and confidence to open all the oxides I've purchased and never used!. Thank you.
absolutely helpful to se them compared to similar colours, makes it easier to start a collection with the colours you really love. with inks we can always get the minis to "try out"☺
I for 1 would find it very helpful to compare to other similar colours, as that if you have limited space, will help decide which colour will work better for you without the extra outlay. Just subscribed , thank you for this series, most helpful.
Oxides are my desert island inks since the first set arrived on earth, and it’s so fun to watch your blends. 💕 And yes, comparisons are great - how about doing a quick swipe onto cardstock of the inks being compared? I think that would be helpful to those newer to these amazing inks. And which card are you using? Thanks!
@@Smitharcher 😂😂 Have you tried using Distress Oxides for stamping sentiments? They’re opaque & are pretty. Since they take longer to dry, you can apply clear fine detail embossing powder. I haven’t tried it yet myself but I’ve seen others do it.
Just got this pad and mine is VERY purple. I was so confused so I swatched it on several different papers but they're all decidedly purple; blue-based purple (unlike seedless preserves which is a very pink-based purple) but undeniably purple nonetheless. Anyone else having this same result??
I don't think there could be a better series for crafters just starting out! Thank you for the inspiration.❤
Love chipped sapphire, but blue is my my favourite colour, that lost shadow looks lovely in the blend, such a subtle but beautiful colour! XX
Thank you so much for this series! It's very helpful!
I had the same shade of blue as colour for my wedding 😊💙
Loving this series and can't wait to see the other colors.. ty for doing this series❤
I appreciate the color comparisons to colors that are similar. I could watch it all day.

Hi! I use the Creative Craft Products Stamping cardstock. It’s linked in the description x
@@LouCollins Sorry I missed that. Tired eyes and it’s almost 1:00 a.m. here. Glad I found you - subscribed.
Is there a downloadable list of all the listed combos,. from your site? Would make it easier at a glance to find.
How do I stamp onto the distressoxide to get a clear a clear image? Mine looks bubbly
Perhaps you should heat set the ink ? Maybe you can also try a different type of ink when you stamp?
@@chantalle7340 thank you. What I did try is paitence 😆 I waited for the ink to dry! Amazing

I thought blueprint sketch I think it’s called is pretty new and the darkest blue
I find Blueprint a sketch a slightly brighter, more of a royal blue x

ink is very chalky and it doesnt seem to dry . . .
Oxides sit on the surface of the paper and therefore do take longer to dry than the inks.
You may like the regular Distress Inks. They also come in a mini ink cube so you can sample them.
