Thomas often tends to extend the guitar solos during live shows. the interesting bit is that often he tries out new things, new techniques, that then end up on the studio version of newer songs after. They all really tend to change things up, and add on to the songs for live shows. It's part of what makes it fun for fans to try and at least watch a live stream of every performance, even when you've heard the songs before, it's never quite the same. And it's a general rule that they're almost always better live than in the studio version. The interesting thing here, is that Thomas probably learned how to use that whammy from when they got to jam with Tom Morello, which ended up with Morello featuring on their latest single Gossip.

I saw them live in December in Florida. They put on an amazing Rock show! They are absolutely even better live. One of the best concerts I’ve been to since Hell’s Bells AC/DC tour(general admission only in Ohio). I loved their last album, even though mostly in Italian. The new album is good with a couple misses, but almost every song on it is better live! Thanks for the “Rock” reaction. This band is definitely carrying the banner.

It looks like this video was edited and the long intro was cut (or maybe they didn't record that part). My experience listening to Måneskin is that I'm sometimes initially disappointed with the recorded version, but then I see videos of live performances like this one, and the songs grow on me. With their Italian songs, the lyrics (translated) also help. The songs grow on me as I better understand the lyrics over time.

I liked Maneskin's music before, but seeing them live is what made me a convert, and now I'm a true fan. I like their albums, but they're one of those bands that is MILES better live for the sheer energy alone. I don't even think this performance is on my top 20 from them - that's how good they tend to be. For Your Love from Radio Italia is one of my favorites live performances from them. They've been on Sirius XM pretty recently too and everything they played there is AMAZING. I particularly like I Wanna be Your Dog (cover) and Kool Kids. Funny you'd mention Tom Morello, since he featured in one of their last songs, Gossip! You know they're the real deal when both Iggy Pop and Tom Morello wanted to play with them. Here, Thomas (guitarrist) is KILLING it as usual! He does improvise live, and this is longer than the album version. Hard to believe he just turned 22. Plus I just love how they show appreciation for one another's craft, you can really feel their bond.
