Two errors when comparing performance. The Lenovo is not double the performance in single core scores, it's roughly 30% faster, and in multicore it's roughly 50% faster. You then misspoke when referring to the gpu score, calling it the cpu score, though that it is double. P.S. I have the Tab S6 Lite 2022, as well as four Samsung devices with OLED screens, and a LG C1 with its OLED panel. The Tab S6 Lite 2022 looks great. Very sharp and bright, with good color saturation and great contrast. So much video on Netflix and Amazon, and other places, is limited to 1080p, so it's getting streamed at native resolution to the Tab S6 Lite. The S6 Lite can stream TH-cam videos that are offered in higher bitrates at higher resolutions like 1440p by smoothly downsampling them. The Lenovo is a great larger sized tablet, but since I have a Tab S7+ it doesn't offer anything except an Android OS update. The Tab S6 Lite 2022 offers me the conveniece of something that is significantly lighter and easier to hold. It's more comfortable for using when taken from a stand. Speaking of OS updates, the Tab S6 Lite 2022 is expected to get Android 14 this January, and then one or two more in the following years, followed by a year of security patches. The Spen on the Tab S6 is silky smooth, and I have a Tab S9 to compare it to. Lol, the Spen with that is like magic, but it is a pricey device. 😉 I enjoy your reviews, they are very informative and very professionally done. This was just me adding my 2 cents. 😊
Notice that there's no mention of pen input for both tablets? Samsung Tab S6 Lite uses EMR stylus so it does not require batteries or charging while the Lenovo P12 tablet uses an active stylus that requires charging. Maybe a comparison on stylus palm detection would be a bonus! Thanks!
thats the issue, samsung and apple provide long support, but lenovo will probably give like 2 years max probably do a research to check if im correct before buying
I am med student, and the main purpose of counting the tablet to me is note making and my budget is not that much of an iPad so which one should I prefer Lenovo or the Samsung
I mean, the Tab S 6 Lite is from 2020 (that doesn't excuse the TFT screen, though!), so of course the Tab P12 is going to win by just about any metric.
Are there any lags on the p12 on the Lenovo cause other videos on the p12 I hear it’s not good cause of the update on the software what software does the Lenovo run on or run in please and then also will it still be a good tablet to use in this year 2024
Excellent comparison of the two devices. Without having my own hands on them, Lenovo clearly wins. Side note, for Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2023 the S6 Lite was $200 and the P12 was $250. I purchased the S6 Lite and couldn't believe the atrocious performance when using apps like Edge, Slickdeals, or even Amazon. This is when it is the only app running on the device so the multitasking mode is essentially useless unless you like waiting multiple seconds for every move you make browsing the internet. Unfortunate because I am a Samsung fanboy. For the extra $50, getting a superior CPU and double the RAM with the Lenovo is a no brainer. Also thank you for including your adorable pup as the camera footage ❤
8GB RAM has a major advantage on P12, and P12 can be used as netbook.
Display is excellent on P12 even it's 60Hz
Yes I Think so!!! I'm using this P12 Everyday. Can't Live without it!!! 👍🏻😁👍🏻
ikr its a great tablet with the keyboard assesery its even better! love it too, and insane value!
@@Ryan-bi1nr Yes Absolutely!!! I Love Big Screen Tablet!!! Yay ✌🏻😸✌🏻

@@elm4gician 12 Hours++ for Watching Movies/TH-cam!!! Super Nice Battery!!! 👌🏻😃👌🏻

What about comparison as an artist? S6 lite is cheapest standalone tab that many artists still recommend.for drawing stuff
It's terrible that they don't talk about it. I didn't find a single review from an artist with this tablet
Great video! This is the exact comparison i wanted to see. I was torn between the 2 as a Christmas gift. Thank you😊
I'm really enjoying your videos on the p12 tablet I just bought one so I'm trying to read up on it as much as I can
Best comparison we want the comparison between tab p12 vs tab p12pro
wow the screen on the p12 is noticeable larger. Didn't expect the difference to be this big.
yeah its a big boy!
Nice video! Does lenovo tablets get any OS updates?

@@SmokiestSmoke Yeah, i'm not buying any tablets right now. I was just curious 😃
yes but not as good as samsung usually, i believe 2 yrs software, 4 yrs security updates
@@FishBeeProductions is not getting updates harmful for the device?

I would love to see a Oneplus tablet and lenovo tab p12 comparison, I love your videos❤

Also does the Lenovo tab has palm rejection facility
i'm in the same situation as u
Yes!!! Thanks for sharing. I am between those 2, and with your video i can make a decision.❤

s6 lite is from 2022, but yes there is a 2020 version which is nice and confusing for customers lol
Hey! I want to know that Can I use galaxy s7 fe Spen with Lenevo P12 Tab? as default pen?
No it won't work unfortunately

hmm, i haven't noticed that but i don't think I've updated mine yet
@@FishBeeProductions what will happen if you don’t update the software then should you use your tablet while it’s charging or let it charge first

tab s6 lite screen is very bad….

S7 FE screen protector can be installed on P12
@TheRealSpooging nah should have got lenovo tab p12 its sooo much better for the price...
Your dog!! CUTE!! I hope you "pay" him in treats.
p12 interesante equipo
Can't believe that lenovo would manufacture a tablet without a headphone jack??? Unbelievably stupid in my opinion.
Most tablets are that way now unfortunately
