hey Brandon have you ever weighed the blue and black dots ? and if so what did you find because I am having more problems with the black dot than the pro cup and was told they are identical , the blue dot feels like an old cold heavy rock compared to a red dot or a pro cup to me at least and definatly it seems to affect the deflection .

Hi Brandon, I am wondering if the harder resin on the pro cup would greatly reduce the life span of other ball set with softer resin when they are played together, especially the break shot.

+ericou812 Aramith balls are completely solid, all the way through. They all weigh the same, regardless of the color.

hello Brandon,do you know about Chinese eight ball?do they use the same ball size with the American Pool`ball?

+John Aaronson As far as I know, they use the standard set of balls as we do for American pool: 2 1/4" balls.

Should have measured by grams to show the minute differences

im not trying to be picky but when you talk about objects and close mass you need an analytical balance

lets weigh and measure equipment for a very precise sport
we will not use the metric system because murica
listen dude metric is more precise and literally only 3 countries in the world use the imperial system
usa liberia and burma so you could have at least added a subtitle or a little note in the metric system
here let me help you diameter 57,2 mm and weighs 170 g

Do you realize how dumb your comment is? I was born here I have no control over what weight system we use. I have no control over what my government does and your government doesn't do. Just because you are from USA, doesn't mean you invented all the things in the USA, It doesn't mean every bad thing USA has done is your fault, It doesn't mean you agree with what USA is doing. So your comment makes very little sense to pick at us for using imperial weight system. We don't care We are used to it and we're going to stick with it.

This is very sad, but your imperial system is shitty. And this experiment just proved it again. You have to use metric weighing-machine, way more precise since 1oz is equal to 28gramms. But the topic of the video in general is interesting.

Yeah if he used grams he'd see that the red dot is actually around 158-159 grams and the pro cup (measles) ball and most other premium set cue balls are around 168-169 grams. That's the reason for the play difference in the red dot and measles. They're made from the same resin.
