Drummer for 50 years here. I grew up with legends Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa, later with rock legends Neil Peart, Bonham and Moon; and that’s where my mind went when I first heard Pau play. She blew me away with her technique, musicality, poise, speed, accuracy and power! Many musicians appreciate and admire Pau, but in the same measure as her genius sisters. As a drummer, I see and hear and feel what Pau does and it makes me think that Pau’s genius comes along only every 50 years. She is overwhelming in her talent! And that’s before even considering her unique combination of singing and composition skills which puts her in a league of her own! The names Mozart and Paganini come to mind. You asked what drummers think of Pau, and I’ve given you my two cents worth.
They're still a relatively small band who had been opening for more established acts last year, most notably a couple of shows in Mexico for the Foo Fighters and GnR. This however was their own show, and the Teatro Metropolitan is an important venue in Mexico. This was their show, with a crowd filled with their own fans - and it meant the world to them. There is a beautiful picture from the end of this show, after they had taken their final bow. Pau, who is always very strong-willed and professional has her back turned to the audience while she cries on her younger sister's shoulder, while Dany raises her fist in triumph to the crowd. It's little things like that picture that have really endeared the band to me, beyond their endless catalogue of catchy rock songs and killer live performances.
Indeed. The only thing I don't understand is why they're still a relatively small band. I heard some big names at Summerfest last year, but The Warning, without exception, blew them all away.
@@ripmcmanus773 For some reason I think that crowd at Milwuakee was one of the best they had last year, I would definitely like to see more videos from perspectives other than the VIP area, I had that glimpse of the crowd from Rudy videos taken from the stage and early IG stories. One thing that certainly added to the show was the setlist they played, giving the audience opportunity to experience the variety of music they have.

And not covering anymore others song or just open to others. They are loved and recognized by other bands in the world but interestingly not many American bands are crazy about them. Jealousy plays a big role from some of them, because they are coming from the “ backyard “ of the US? But, just can not say that from all American bands, the intelligent ones recognized that this girls have the power of reaching out to people with their lyrics and work ethic, and when they start to play their instruments, they are turning to Godesses. Time will tell, if they are ready to Argentinas big arenas, which in my mind, they are ready to rock out in front of 85 thousand rock fans!
CDMX is a Spanish abbreviation for Ciudad de Mexico, meaning Mexico City. Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) is a historic venue in the heart of the city with great acoustics. it is a special honor for Mexican artists to perform there. It's capacity is north of 3200. I've heard there were 3500 people at each of two sold out shows. So, it was a huge deal for The Warning to perform there and they pulled out all the stops for the production with a professional light show and a professional camera crew using high definition 8K cameras to document the shows from which this video came. The audio was drawn from the mixerboard, so it is super clear. There are more videos coming. So far, three have been released to the public: Animosity, Enter Sandman, and Disciple. Their Patrons have access to others that have not yet been released publicly. All are phenomenal and go a long way toward capturing the essence of what it is like to be at one of their shows. TW invited some guests, their friends and mentors, to appear with them on stage to perform some of their songs, which was really cool. Last August (2022). The Warning, between their supporting Halestorm gigs, they played two shows at Metropolitan Mexico City venue. Both shows they played their entire *Error* album (except the songs *Intro: 404* which they played to enter the stage & *Breathe* they played while they were doing a outfit change) live with older songs. Also on the second show. Each girl had a mentor play with them on stage for a song.
Their live version of Animosity from this same show became my instant favourite the moment I seen it. The whole band is on fire. Check it out! Please and thank you!
Hey SueSue and Wolfman! Everyone seems to gravitate toward Pau in the beginning. I think mostly because it is so rare that a drummer is such a showman and such a great singer AND drummer! But, the more you see and hear of The Warning, the more you will appreciate and adore Dany and Ale. And, until seeing them live, you cannot fully appreciate how incredible all three are. Ale is FIVE years younger than Dany (a huge age difference for a teen) and she is such a good musician with a huge live presence! And Dany is Wonder Woman on stage, plain and simple. Singing lead AND playing rhythm and lead guitar AND playing with the crowd the whole time. Just jaw dropping!
Very true! It's important to note that Pau is also the creative force of the band. For many of us, that keeps Pau on the highest of three extremely high pedestals LOL!
I’ve only seen videos of their live performances but I can tell that these 3 amazing young phenoms create such a hard hitting but pleasurable wall of sound that rocks your body and stirs your soul. Live is where the greats are separated from the rest. They came. They rocked. They conquered.
Pau packs a huge personality into such a tiny body (5 feet tall on a good day). My attention revolves around all three. One will do something to catch my eye, then another, and then another, and on and on.
I believe the Enter Sandman video was released in 2015. Disciple was written in 2020. In 5 short years they went from talented kids to top level rockers with no gimmicks. They write their own music, play their own instruments and own the crowd at EVERY show!
Pau is like a Tasmania devil 😆 I get tired just watching her perform a song, how can she handle a whole concert??? 😝 plus singing impeccably while drumming and being sooooo cute and tiny with her ponytails🥰🥰🥰😍 Dany facial expressions and stage presence is insane and her voice is as powerful as her presence, She was born to do this!! 🤩🤩🤩 and Ale, even though she´s the youngest looks so mature and mystic when she´s playing, she doesn´t need to do much to notice her. Her aura is so striking, especially with her crooked smile. Ale is simply a beautiful girl, the 3 of them are. It gets me excited to see what kind of song they´re going to release next, don´t you??😚

Good Morning Sue and 🐺, The Warning is a great way to start the day. Money is probably still my favorite, but this one is right behind it because you get Dany and Pau singing co-lead, and Ale's bass intro.
It's so cool to see how virtually every track on ERROR is someone's favorite. Mine changes back and forth so much it's like I'm playing Whack-A-Mole LOL. Currently digging 23.
Ale is so talented on the bass that it seems effortless, and her personality is so understated compared to her sisters. In their cover of Muse's Hysteria at age 10 she calmly plays a difficult bass line. On the cover of Metallica's Atlas Rise she's often playing the same riff that Dany does. My favorites though would have to be Dull Knives from their "cave", and Queen of the Murder scene live..
Pau is on a high pedestal (drum riser), although I hear that she prefers being lower if not being on the floor on equal footing with her sisters. An amazing band to watch, to listen to and to be a fan of. Thanks for coming back to The Warning.

As Napoleon said, her height is not measured from the head to the ground, but from the head to the sky. By the way, I'm 6'4″ tall, but creatively I'm nowhere near as tall as Pau. On the other hand, The Warning is no longer a small band trying to do things right. It is a mature band, full of artistic resources and with a great stage presence. It seems to me that if they continue to play small venues in the US it's because they understand that they need more people to know them, and probably because to do things like transport more presentation equipment requires a lot more capital (economic resources) than they have. CDMX stands for Ciudad de México, translated it means Mexico City and the Teatro Metropolitan is a well known midsize venue (capacity of 3165). It used to be a cinema until the mid-80s , then was renovated and re-opened as a show venue in the end of 1996. Nightwish played there on their 2015 tour.

Nice Reaction and Great Song! I read on the comments on another video that someone said Ale was 9 years old when they did the Enter Sandman Cover and she just trurned 18. Can you believe they are already 23, 21 and 18 years old? You ought to do a reaction to their Ted X performance (2017?). It was at the University of Nevada and they played 3 songs and after each song they would talk about recording and the music industry. The third song, Survive, is a real good song and Pau sings alot on it
Dany and Ale are extremely talented, especially for their ages. But yes, Pau is still up on another level. Songwriting, composing, and drumming like a beast even while singing. And then there is her mma fighting side gig. Along with standup commedian Dany. And supermodel Ale. The audio quality of the music video, on your video is excellent, the spoken audio has a bit to improve on. Good luck!
