I just wanted to give Nikki a compliment for her teach on this one, which I had no trouble following. It's a skill, and she's getting quite a bit better at it, which is awesome! The win was just the icing on the cake. I feel like the game's a little too luck-driven for my *personal* tastes, but I could see it becoming a hit in the vein of Cascadia.
I agree. I really like it when Nikki explains a game, but if you watch GameNight's videos where she does it, you'll notice that the lads interrupt her frequently. On videos where they explain games, Nikki doesn't do it as much.
I really love this game! Very fluid, aesthetically beautiful, not too hard to understand for non gamers, very gratifying when one succeeds completing patterns... Non wonder it is rated this high on BGG! Thanks for the video!
I just got my copy, can't wait to get it on the table! My cards did come slightly warped, hoping that the sleeves will help. Great job teaching this one, Nikki!
I've been playing & teaching this game for about a month and totally missed the rule where you have to put down at least 1 token before you can take a card. I had even seen one other video where they took a card as the first action before taking the cubes. Not sure why it matters so much, but will start implementing that rule on the next play.
We couldn't figure out why this was important either. It is in the English rulebook but we were told by the publisher this is a mistranslation. There is a note in the video about it in the teach of the game at the beginning. Thanks for the note and for watching. -Lincoln
@@boardgamegeek - Oh, haha, since I 'thought' I knew the rules, I skipped the teach for a change. Thanks for letting me know about the clarification and I've gone back and seen the banner on the video. The only house rule we've implemented is not waiting for a player to finish placing their tiles since there can be some AP downtime. The current player announces they're done and the next person goes. Fun game and a nice first game for the night, or a 'palette cleanser' in between longer games.
I agree, it seems super arbitrary and we ignore that rule. Lincoln didn't seem to think it was very important either, apparently, since he moved his tiles around all over the place after taking his card 😂
Looks very interesting, but did you have any production issues with your game? I've heard reports that the cards are coming slightly warped.. Did you have that issue with your copy?
My cards and boards are a little warped. Plan on sleeving the cards to try and fix that, but the boards may just need a kettlebell on them for a bit to see if the warp can be corrected.
Easy fix tbh. Heat em up, put them in book pages. Its not a production issue. Its a "sustianibility" bullshit issue. They don't ship it with silica gel they ship it with "environmentally friendly" shit that doesn't work.
Super fun looking game and an excellent explanation and playthrough🥰 But boo - The only places I can find the game atr in England or Austrailia😟 Sold out everywhere else with no indications when - or if - its coming back🙁
😂 "Frogs are rad" 18:26 should be a Harmonies t-shirt. Great explanation, great game play! Can't wait to try this one.

Awesome episode 😊 I am super excited about Harmonies! It seems to be an awesome little game 🙂
Thank you for the great teach, Nikki, this playthrough is helping me teach this game to my game group next weekend 😊👍🏾👍🏾
Nikki is great! Let's play is very awesome!
nikki and dave are the top two for me in terms of diving cold into a new game explanation. they just know the right emphasis and inflections .
I bought this as soon as it came out. I really enjoy it. Gives me that less mean Calico and Cascadia chillness combination.

Great game! I ended up getting different colored cubes so that I could keep track of the different animals on my board 🎨
Awesome game! Seems like some fun strategy to this game!
Reminds me of Reef of course, but looks more charming and interesting!

It's confusing because for the optional actions it explicitly states you can take them at anytime during your turn.
Ive played and reviewed this and I love it! Very much on a level with Cascadia! Some art I don’t love so much but lovely little game!

My cards are warped enough that the cubes can slide off. My boards are not warped at all. But it really doesn't affect gameplay.

This game is awesome, already did a bunch of plays.

Harmonies just hit the market, so I think a quick reprint is guaranteed given how the game has moved off shelves. -WEM
I bought the game in Russia... there's a lot of it there. Crowd Games
All the animal cards are different?
Yes
i always had a feeling nikki doesn't like mike, and then she outright says it, nice.
Awww, that isn't true. Nikki and Mike are great friends. -Lincoln
first :) Also this game is awesome!
Y'all need to let her answer questions when she's teaching; is real weird to hear the talking over/for when it's clearly being asked to her.
I picked up on that too, but I assume that as her partner, Lincoln likely knows what to say and when if she needs a little assist.
First!
I will not put my cards in these plastic sleeves - Save the earth!
