    Just got mine bout a week ago, i upgraded the gears to metal, upgraded the battery pack from the stock 1500mah to a 5000mah hump pack put some spike wheel lugs on, and my dual black exuast will be here tomorrow....i also gave it a cone shaped air filter for better performance...gonna end up taking it to a hobby shop to get me going

    The whole video I just felt for that poor kid standing there twiddling his thumbs looking at this new RC car and not even getting a 30 second go of it LoL! Even if the car was mine, I would have let him have a go, coz i know I got it for a long time ... hand that control over there Mr Geedy! HaHa! Cool video btw, love the Baja's! :)

      He actually drove it more than me, but he was scared of it so he idled around so most of his driving wasn't in the video 😂

    I think I prefer the King Motor KM002 or 3 as the hop up parts makes it cheaper in the long run though here in Asia there around around 400 USd so a bang for the buck.

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah you're not wrong. At the time I purchased this one though there was a bigger price gap and they are now closer so the King Motor probably would be a better deal

    • @kanenstuff
      @kanenstuff ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @GussCustomCreations in Australia where I came from the difference in price is not so bad. Now I work and live in Malaysia rhe Rovan is dirt cheap but the King Motor is 2 to 3 tines the price hope to pick one up on a work trip to America in October.

    3:29 the majority of us break or have broken the rear shock tower brace. its a part that takes a lot of beating upon landings.. specially if you really jump it high.

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      So far I have yet to break that in the year and a half I have had it but it came with the aluminum one so that could be why.

  • @wesontwowheels
    @wesontwowheels 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I've just purchased one and I'm just wondering if its normal for it to move just bout on full throttle. It's still bring new haven't even finished a full tank..

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you mean not move until full throttle, that is normal on the settings on the carb they come with. They set them really rich to make sure they don't blow up during break in. You should be able to lean the main needle a little so it drives better, but keep it on the rich side until its broken in. You can also check the carb to make sure the radio is set up correctly, to make sure the throttle is opening all the way. It may not be adjusted correctly.

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haven't broken anything yet. We ran 2 gallons through it so far. I stripped the hex on a set of Amazon wheels and tires I put on it. Not good in the winter though, maybe get the track and ski set for next winter 🥶

    30.5cc? Do you wish you got a bigger motor? I’m trying to decide now between 30.5/36/45cc

    • @GussCustomCreations

      Honestly since I put the velocity stack and filter on it it's a beast. Anymore power would be too much honestly without some upgrades to widen it and improve handling. I have several videos on this one with the upgrade on my channel if you want to check it out

    Can you add a kill switch with the transmitter that comes with it.

      @@GussCustomCreations so if you don’t install the kill switch. What are the chances of the RC to take off on you.

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@johnwicked9301 With the kill switch hooked up, and the fail safe enabled on the radio, the chances are pretty much 0. There is a chance a servo gets stuck or broken and sticks the throttle, but then you have the kill switch button on the transmitter to shut it off.

    • @GussCustomCreations
      @GussCustomCreations  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@johnwicked9301 I think I misread your question. It's pretty low if you have the fail safe enabled but there are scenarios where it can happen. I ran gas for 3 years without a runaway on 3 different cars.
