Just like you, I grew up with one of these Epson Stylus printers. I think my mom had one for a little while, but I especially remember hearing it at my grandma's house. She had hers for quite a while until she replaced it. I remember the sounds pretty well, even to this day.
Since the video, I've bought a USB to LTP connector so I can use it on my computer since nothing I use has a parallel port anymore... I'm now trying to revive it! Bought a new ink cartridge on ebay. hopefully that helps. I've been running alcohol thru it but all i'm getting is a little cyan here and there.
