what a beautiful drive. I had an uncle who when he retired did over 8,000 miles by car with my aunt and another couple to see the USA. He always said Colorado was the prettiest state. Thanks for sharing. God bless safe travels and good camping
@kevinhutt814 Colorado along the eastern edge of the Rockies is beautiful and the mid 70 temps make it perfect for camping. Normally, I'm in my favorite state of Montana for the summer, but this year, I'm starting in Colorado. We're glad to share. Thanks for Watching 👀 🙂 🙏!
I understand a business wants to make a profit... but their is a difference between turning a profit and raping customers. I am glad you found a more honest garage!
Oh lord you shaved it off! The temperature here in Charleston today is just over 90. I don’t play any music when I’m driving. Never did. I listen for the sound of the engine.
College towns are always overpriced and add to Flagstaff being a tourist trap I'm not surprised at the outlandish prices. I buy my tires at Big O too. I got stung once at Flagstaff Ford when 3 of my diesel truck fuel injectors went bad. Cost me $3600. Thanks for sharing the drive and camps. I love roadside rests too. I drove clear across the country using free roadside rests on back roads. Driving 29' 5th wheel 17 yrs fulltime. Happy Trails
Driving on grades is probably the main thing I'm concerned for with my old one-ton van. It has an overdrive button but I'm not sure when and how to use that.
@kathrynarnold1966 I'd recommend dropping to second gear going down a steep grade in a 1 ton van. If you have an RPM meter, do not let the engine get over 3000 rpm. Hope that helps. Thanks for Watching 👀 🙂 🙏!
Yes, Flagstaff mechanics think we are all rich 😂 But I had Big O Tire hand me a quote for $3000 for repairs that were not needed. Valvoline changed my oil & filter but put in a quart too much. Had to have it sucked back out at a different Valvoline. Had a nail taken out of a tire & patched. Front end felt wierd- they put 45lbs of air instead of 32 like the other 3 tires. 🤷
I'm told not all Big O Tires are the same. It's a dirty shame to take advantage of travelers. I found the small town folks more reasonable. Appreciate Your Comment Sis. Thanks for Watching 👀 🙂 🙏!

@@VanCampinWoody I wonder if it's expensive to install an aftermarket tachometer.
@kathrynarnold1966 in the older vehicles it should be affordable, but prices on things these days. You really couldn't say.
