That's why I went with the top songs, not solos. Sure we could do all the fastest and most impressive solos but I really think the songs are what I really love even if the solos in those songs aren't the most "impressive." :)

Reb beach has a really unique and almost impossible to replicate style especially when he taps .. the dudes hands just work differently and he’s able to get this super smooth , Fluid and soulful legato sound when he’s ripping it up and it’s so hard to replicate the smoothness he plays with . You did an amazing job mike ! Nailed all of them this was so enjoyable to watch

Very cool! Great playing. I took guitar lessons from Steve Lynch the guitarist for Autograph (#33) in my youth many years ago. He showed me so many licks and taught me how to tap. 30 year on I still use all his warm up and practice drills. He was one of the coolest nicest guys I've ever met. He shared a lot about the highs and lows of being a performing artist and rock star. I was lucky to know him, even though it was only for a short while.
Heaven sent deserves to be way higher! The solo is one of the finest by mr. Lynch and it sounds magical in the song. Also really tricky when it comes to technique.

The instrumental was a masterpiece and thankfully that Dokken shits over with, he's touring right now and he sounds dead nuts, but he's a monster in the studio and live he could play every solo he's done note for note, he's a professional but he is all about feel, and I know what your saying there's a few times he's drifted out to far but it's all improv, feeling, the most unique feeling and expression out there
I love the fact that CC Deville's solo's are on here more than a couple times... He was the wildest lead guitarist to come out of the 80's. He did love him some Floyd Rose though...

Love that you included Warrant, Poison, and Skid Row. ‘Look what the cat dragged in’ is a great opening song for Poison concerts, but CC always teases with the riff to Valley of Lost Souls in the beginning. What a tease, I want to hear that song live. The Demo version of Dr Feelgood on one of the relic albums is so heavy.

A couple on here would be in my Top 10. There's def not 10 solos from this time better than November Rain and 18 and Life, imo. When the Children Cry being as low as it was, was a crime as well 😅

Amazing! I'm a big hair metal (or glam) guy so I really love these solos. You can say whatever you want about this genre but you can't deny the great solos!
This is so cool! This is what I grew up learning to play guitar on. These solos are the reason I picked up the 6 string.. Sadly, as I became a teenager Seattle turned my world upside down. All the shit I devoted hours and hours learning all of a sudden was instantly hated overnight. The kids who couldn’t tune their guitars and barely playing Barre chords we’re getting all the attention in high school mid 90’s.. While there was some great music from the “grunge” days it was definitely a strange time for a young musician. I am glad the 80’s rockers are getting the respect they deserve now
You can blame VH with their muscling in on Boy George in the pop charts with the über fluffy "Jump" and its! Prerequisite! Tappy,! Heavy! Metal! Solo! and then their subsequent power ballads with! Solos! Ending! On! The! 25th fret!!! "Only time will Ttell if we stand the test of time"
Fun nostalgic trip this! Don't forget about the Europe "Superstitious" solo. By far my fav hair metal solo. Overall I def prefer Norum over Kee Marcello, but Kee just nailed that sucker.
