I absolutely love the videos, thank you so much! The only bad part is the commercials. I don't know if it's by design, for more revenue, but my goodness it feels like there's one every minute.
Question,I have a small smoked meats biz, like Rib's pulled pork chicken turkey. I'm thinking about asking my town restaurants if they would be interested. What do you think?
Hey Sam yes yes and yes,,BUT the only thing is WHERE you will be making it. If you do it from home cottage food laws may not allow you to sell to restaurants. Where do you make them? Also if need an hour consultation I can go over what you can do and how you can make this work? marketingfoodonline.com/collections/consulting-marketing-food-online-monthly-consulting-packages/products/specialty-food-consulting-1-hour-one-on-one
@@MarketingFoodOnline thank you. I have a state approved kitchen at my house, it's a room I built to state code. My smokehouse is also to code. Here in Arkansas they don't let you sale from your home kitchen. I may do the one on one with you soon. I lov your videos they help allot.
Hey Damian. My mind set is not to cottage cook since I live in an apartment but thinking like a man I saw selling sodas & packaged items around businesses that don't have kitchens or dining areas. Is there a better place to buy than say. Costco or Candy stores?
Hey Damian!!! Quick question. Just starting out my food business and am looking into packaging options for my cookies. Gonna be selling them on my website. I came across alibaba.com and this site is full of overseas wholesalers who are selling customized food packaging/boxes that are listed anywhere from $0.15 - $1.00 per unit. Good idea or terrible idea for a new food biz??? (Really think a professionally produced package would improve the appeal of my product and would transition easily into retail in the future, but don't want to make a costly and silly mistake).
Hey Shauna I have the video uploading tonight and will cover some very useful info ! also a website I found while researching that is a HUGE help it will be in the description ....Also let you know if you need one on one consulting with food product I have my second channel MARKETING FOOD ONLINE2 which is only 12.99 a month and you get direct access to me via email consulting I can walk yo through the process to creating and marketing your food product! It is a new channel I started to give consulting to food start ups ! I have already worked with nearly a dozen companies !
Hey Makia Many retailers have bakeries that offer these fresh in their bakery section fo the stores, but mixes and the refrigerated section also offer " bake them yourself styles products" and that maybe a better route to go. Offering a dry mix in a box? Fresh cinnamon rolls have a short window of expiration. Now if you wanted to offering these at fairs, festivals etc. then YES these would sell well.
Damian, how can I meet demand? I have to keep shutting down my online stores because I'm getting too many orders. I'm getting ready to move into a commercial kitchen and will hire a couple of employees, but what else can I do? Just bought a donut machine that can spit out a lot of donuts at a time. Any other suggestions?
Hey Stacey Thanks again for the question ...yes I will actually do a video for this ( cause I will cover a handful of ways you can deal with this ) BUT THIS IS A GOOD PROBLEM !!!! I will tell you what I had to do to get back on top of orders ...GREAT question and one I have actually been asked about before
Great content , thank you !
How about Walmart ? Could you make a video about it ?

How about selling cinnamons rolls? Is that a good product to sell to retailers? Cinnamon rolls are something I’m good at making homemade.
