1 year clean from cocaine, and it gets better, but I couldnt feel any pleasure for 3-6 months, and only felt fully recovered at 9months mark, it's a slow process, dont fool urself thinking you'll feel better in short period.

How did you start spiraling down into addiction ? I'm using sometimes and i think i'm using too regularly, but i want to be carefull. Not gonna stop too just fyi just don't want to sell my neighboors car for a bag.

    • @thfyze

@@arcadymorel7565 i never got to the point where i started selling things or stealing, things became to spiral down when i felt like i needed the drug to function or else i'd feel like shit, so i started becoming less efficient on my business and always chasing the dopamine, instant pleasure which coke gave me, i hated being in a crash 3-5 days after the binge so i would just keep going back to it, so my advice to you would be, if you have to use it, try staying off for at least 1-2 months, giving your brain time to reset and not building a high tolarence, and always keep yourself in check being real to see if you are using it recreationally or became the illusion of always chasing that first line which we always love. if you need someone to talk just lmk

Whenever I have cravings I just remember how bad the after affects of emptiness and laziness feel, not to mention cocaine leaves a whole in your wallet if you’re not careful.
The pure dopamine is what keeps bringing people back to it but honestly being on coke is not fun, it’s actually pretty nerve wrecking.

All you have to remember is taking more is a waste after the first line. It just gives you a short jolt and prolongs the inevitable crash. Hell, my group has become more conservative now taking small bumps to keep our tolerance low and stretch the bag for next time. Self discipline and moderation is key to everything fun, as silly as it sounds. You lose the magic reset if you abuse it.

True a lot Is garbage but even getting basically pure of the brick and doing it for over a week will destroy your body and mind. I wish I could just flush what I got but my mind won’t let me waste it so I’m just doing it and trying to give away as much as possible. Stay clean its not worth the moment or instant gratification no matter what you’re going through it will always make it worse over all especially if you do it more than like one time every 6 months to a year or so. I also never had a problem with it until I realized I can’t keep going back to opiates for my pain and that I can’t control my alcohol intake for it either. The numb works but not long at all before you’re back where you started and relapsed or picked up an awdul habit, stay safe and stay strong as much as you possibly can.

It starts doing once now and then. Then it soon associates with alcohol and parties or bars and you start doing it every week , maybe once or twice. Some people will do it for months or years and maybe quit. Other people though after a few months or years will escalate into doing it every time they drink , which can be almost every day. The most sensitive and remorseful and anxious and vulnerable emotionally people can get into a dark nightmare of self blaming and hopelessness and frustration in not being able to break the remorseful insônias and back do doing again cycle.
Most people never start doing coke during the day sober without alcohol . The ones that do that usually get pretty fucked up mentally.
Everyone can quit if they start doing sports regularly and quit alcohol plus taking mood regulators or anti depressants. There’s life again for sure

Idk about other people... But for me cocaine AND crack cocaine are ONLY addictive while you are on them and the come down starts...
So like if I do a nice line right now in about anywhere from 20 mins to 1 hours time I will start to come back down and will crave another line.... So I do "Jones" for more once it's all gone for sure.... BUT once I come down enough to eat AND sleep.... the next day I wake up feeling just fine. Literally like nothing happened.... will not have the slightest craving for it....
My personal strategy is to have a Xanax or Valium and a joint to smoke for after all the coke is gone. For me it really helps the come down go a lot smoother... I do recommend waiting as long as you can to take the Xanax after the cokes gone. That way you are not going from flying on coke to laid out from a Xanax...

It’s heartbreaking to see how addiction can impact a person’s life, leading to paranoia, financial struggles, and emotional instability. Seeking help to overcome substance abuse is a commendable decision, and there are various resources available even if financial constraints are a concern. You can explore public or community-based addiction treatment programs, local support groups, and government-funded initiatives. Reach out to addiction helplines or community health centers to inquire about available assistance. Many organizations are dedicated to helping individuals on their path to recovery, regardless of financial limitations. Cocaine withdrawal is more complex than just being in "a very bad mood." It often involves intense cravings, fatigue, anxiety, depression, irritability, and sometimes physical symptoms like chills and tremors. The psychological effects can be severe, including a profound sense of dissatisfaction, mood swings, and difficulty concentrating. Proper medical support and counseling are crucial for managing these symptoms and ensuring a safer withdrawal process.

I hate that I occasionally still use I feel honestly that I have control I know I do but I know even more so that I need to stop completely as I’ve done before several times and it last several months even close to a year and that guilt feeling of like “why did I put this bs in my body” is enough to make you change your whole fuckin life that’s horrible and for me personally I can do a little bump and just off that one feel like such shit I’ll keep the same bag for like weeks and weeks before it’s done becaus every little time I do it I just utterly pit myself with guilt and the guilt is strong enough to make me just say fuck it it’s not even that fun to do anyway honestly it’s really not I’m social I’m out going I don’t need it I just enjoy euphoria but hey weed is enough for me honestly

Recognizing the impact of substance use on your well-being and your capacity to enjoy life without it is a valuable insight. Remember that recovery is a journey, and seeking support, whether through therapy, counseling, or support groups, can provide additional tools to maintain a substance-free lifestyle.
