I think this is a super cool idea, personally, I'm super excited about this update as it reminds me of all the old card games I used to play when I was younger. If I had to suggest anything, I'd love to see certain effects on cards and maybe the chance to purchase a different deck holder and cosmetics to allow players the chance to customise everything to their liking.

Hey, I suggest you were to add a few things 1. Customizable background for the game, you could have community contests to get it in game and/or sell an item in the shop, either selling backgrounds or selling something that you can use to make your own background. 2. A feature where you can battle NPCs and get gems like maybe if you win 300-1000+ gems (depends on difficulty) and either no limit or limit to like 50 games/24hrs and the player can choose the difficulty. That way if the amount is limited to 50 which I'd prefer if it wasn't limited if they did easiest ones they would win 15,000 gems and if they did all hardest ones they would win 50,000 gems but you would want to make the hard ones pretty hard. I think that's all I'll edit and add on more if i have any more ideas

Ideas for the card game -you can rip the cards to blank card bits (large, medium, maybe small) -new npc Card Master (tutorial, and sells some rare cards for card bits) -nether had burned card bits that can be turned in to nether cards, fishing gives wet card bits that can be turned in to water cards like poseidon, mining gives ruined card bits that can be turned in to mining cards (mostly effect cards) -event cards, blacktower has scribbled card bits and jack-o special card, trap and rising lava effect cards. Sumner has sand dusted bits and big billy special card and ice Cream effect card. St. Patrick has golden leprachaun card and lucky clover effect card.
We could call the crafting material of the cards as card scraps or card particles For the backgrounds, I'd say we simply have a preset one made by the devs then arrange competitions for players to submit their own custom card game backgrounds. As long as they don't break any copyright laws, that is.
you should add tiers like how different fishing rods catch bigger/smaller fish but players with stronger cards can only use those cards if opponent has same strength just to make it fair so no one player has op card vs bad cards to level it out and also u should add a form of prize pool say both players put 100 gems in whoever wins gets 200 gems like that just my thoughts game dev to game dev:)

I suggest that you can fight npc's and if you win you get a card relating to them, for example fighting the mining guy in the pixel station, if you beat him you get a card with a mining theme, it also works for events npc's
I think primary element cards, ex fire, should be found in nether, water by fishing, earth by farming. Also, random npcs that would show up randomly around the world and ask for a "Duel", beat the npc and get a possibly rare card or a random rare card!. I think players should be able to make a wager before the duel to make battles a little more intense. A world made to be a Duel arena, where players could watch people battle, along with tournaments that would be exclusive for contestants and people could join and watch. Also a fusion possibility for cards, like three nether dragon cards make the Eater of pixels card. Thanks for seeing this if ya did and also some legendary card names! All The devs, obviously, but also a Rare Sensei Jake ( Ninjago Reference) card, that can only be obtained by fusing all the dev cards!. King Harambe, Bloody Angel, Pixelonian ( Card includes some lore), and last but not least, Commander Ks Starship.
Maybe put effects on the cards that are in battle not only on the effect card. Collecting cards from different features in game also sounds good , maybe put expansion on the cards every 4 months to keep the card game interesting. Tradable cards are maybe for cards collectors like legendary cards, event cards and tournament cards. Ladder system is good to keep the game competitive also the tournament every weekends is nice and make the rewards card packs or some collectible cards. Keep the playable cards non-tradable for players to grind and maybe reward card dust every battle limited per day. Add challengeable NPC bosses that give some cool rewards that cooldowns in few weeks maybe.

You should do an apocalypse mode where a team kinda like nether team has to fight waves of monsters. That would be fun. And depending on how many waves u beat is how many of whatever currency comes out with it or something. Just a suggestion
It would be cool if u would change card buying from shop that way, that you will add CARDS category in the shop, there u will see Card Boster Pack where would be monthly changing Legendary Card (Only available that way). When u will buy that pack u will get that in your inv and by double clicking it, it would open and give you those cards. So as time passes those Card Packs would rise, like in Pokemon Cards

Make a version that would reward you with a small number of Byte coins, or add that to the Ranked mode of the card game. New players won't be able to play without cards but ofc common cards will be very cheap so it will be very easy to acquire for New players.
