The original movie was funny, this is just cringe and awkward. No, special effects are not enough to make a movie good.

The first movie really was a Coming to America. This one not only made it where he had a bastard child discrediting his royal words. But it also just seems like reverse colonization. A black American forcing his own ways onto his ancestry, disrespecting the entire thing. Most people I knew who watched it just felt the whole thing seemed really racist and not funny.
