Always great clip's ! On your experience, living in the town,is there any neighborhood that you don't want to suggest to live in and buying an home ?? Any bad places in Montreal ? im planning to move in the city and wanna get some more informations
Choosing the best location in the city will depend on numerous factors. I would avoid Montreal-East. Living within 5km radius of Mount Royal is a sweet spot.
The West Island, N.D.G, Montreal West, Westmount are some examples of nice areas. Pointe Aux Trembles, Montreal-Est, Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve and St-Michel are some examples of not so great areas
@@evancristofaro1515, I would say if you live in those areas, work there as well and only occasionally go out to Montreal because the traffic is extremely horrendous and the bus/train is nearly inexistant. I lived in Vaudreuil a long time ago and moved out, my parents were living there for 30 years after I left but traffic got so bad that they got an apartment in Montreal and their house in Vaudreuil for a long time as traffic would take 1h30 to go to work both ways.
@@GermanKorb It was convenient to live in Dorval at that time. I was working as an engineer then. The companies I worked for were all situated in Ville Saint-Laurent. I did not have to deal with the morning and evening traffic jams. I have heard the airplane noise was a bit of a problem in parts of Saint-Laurent as well.
Very smart of city planning to put the airport in a nice part of the city.

If you are willing to commute and live off-island, Vaudreuil-Dorion, St-Lazare, Hudson, Île Perrot and Brossard are all nice areas.

I had a house there. It is a pleasant area.
Nice! How did you deal with noisy airplanes.
@@GermanKorb Luckily I was not under the flight paths. The noise was not so bad.
That's cool! I was looking into properties in Dorval last year, but decided to stay in Saint-Laurent for now.

@@antonboludo8886 We hear airplanes in Saint-Laurent. Most of the borough is under the flight paths of both runways.
Nice video! It brought back some great memories. I have a video on Dorval on my channel too!
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the drive in Dorval. It's a great little community.
@@GermanKorb Yes, Dorval is awesome.
